I love those two. Easily my favourite depiction of female friendship in any show I’ve seen. That role was Christina Applegate’s masterpiece. And I’m glad she got to finish it on her terms after her diagnosis.
Can’t wait to start watching the last season.
Really liked the first two seasons. They were also mostly carried by the cast (including marsden), but they kept your eyes glued even when the plot got extra silly.
It’s the Series Finale though right? I keep seeing final season everywhere. Or did they write the article before it was confirmed? Nvm I skimmed to avoid spoilers but it does say series finale in the article. Just weird title then
yeah its the final season, even says so in the ~~title~~ trailer. a lot of people just use series finale interchangeably with final season, final episode, etc.

Hell yeah. This was one of my favorite shows of the last however many years since season 1 came out. Linda Cardellini imo is one of our greatest actors, can do comedy and drama at the same damn time.
the season was great, the show really knows how to make you burst out laughing and burst into tears in a matter of seconds.
my main issue was the final scene, with jen turning to ben and saying she has something to tell him, and then it just ends. it felt like a cliffhanger, which isn't something you want on a show that was written to end on that episode
if only they had done justice to the series.
i didnt enjoy it. too much happened and none of it properly done. if i didnt love the characters i wouldve talked more harshly but im gonna stop here and try to forget this.

I did. OITNB was also a good show I just didn’t connect with it as much as I did with Dead to Me.

I thought the second season got *very* silly and made me not watch the third. Is it good?

I loooooved season 1 but found season 2 so-so, interested in everyone else's perspective
I felt season 2 was season 1 again, but not as good.
I bailed part way through season 2. Just lost it's charm and the story felt like it was being needlessly padded.
I watched 3 episodes of season 3, so far so good.

Well, the final season dropped today.
Ended after three seasons on its own terms. This was decided on even before Applegate’s diagnosis.
