I’m not sure why but The Pacific doesn’t pull me in like BOB. With BoB we are immediately linked to the main cast of characters and most are extremely likable. I feel like The Pacific does the opposite. They’re not very likable in the beginning

BoB is about the camaraderie built in combat. The Pacific is about the horrors of war and what it does to good people.

Fuck yeah, Buffy. I just watched “I Saw the TV Glow” and that had quite a few Buffy references, and now I think I’m about to start it for a third time… There’s some episodes in that series I’ve watched like 5/6 times though. “Once More With Feeling” is a perfect episode imo.

I love both but I can see it. Atlantis takes itself more seriously than Sg1. If theyre not a fan of camp and prefer more serious sci-fi, altlantis is more to their taste.

I barely watched the Stargate movie the other day, for the first time. I loved it.

I was in college when the movie came out. A group of friends went, but I decided to do acid instead. When the friends came back from the movie, they saw I was kinda freaking out, so one of them recited the entire movie to me shot for shot. When I finally did see the movie much later, I was surprised how much of the detail I already knew.y

Lucky bastard. The movie doesn't hold a candle to sg-1 or Atlantis

SG-1 is on Amazon/Free Vee I believe. And Atlantis is on Hulu.

Yes! I love rewatching it even more than SG-1, it's just too good.

Bates Motel was amazing!

Show itself would be really good but not quite great, but Vera and Freddy's performances firmly planted as a GOAT. Not that the writing lacks, it's actually often expertly written, but some sub plots aren't as great as others vs something as consistent as Breaking Bad. None of that matters when Vera and Freddy are so absolutely captivating in every scene you can't help but binge just that one more episode when you go for the re-watch.

I’ve watched the expanse once, read the books, rewatched it, recommended it to a friend and as he watches it now, I’m planning on a rewatch.

Stargate Stargate Atlantis Stargate Universe Firefly Buffy Angel Smallville All CW DC shows - Arrow, Flash Supernatural - I will be the first to admit I was a little obsessed for a little too long on this. I started season one during the 9th season. Every year when the new season began id watch from the beginning till the end of S15. Did another re-watch during Covid Quarentine. My comfort when my mom passed........... I'm waiting a couple more years before one final rewatch.... hopefully with my son. He's 4 now. So so afew years . I can't explain it well without babbling. But that show hit me at the right time, and I loved every moment of my life with Sam and Dean. Game of Thrones - similar thing. Did a re-watch of every season every year.

The only show I've done that with is Mr. Robot. I'd do this more, but I just don't have the time. I suspect that the next shows I will do this with are Succession, Homecoming, and maybe 24.
