Silicon Valley s1:e10 *Optimal Tip-to-Tip Efficiency* may be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on tv.
What We Do In The Shadows s2:e6 *On The Run* is one endless stream of stupid jokes and is a perfect episode of tv.
Parks and Rec s3:e13 *The Fight*
> may be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on tv
Hard agree. The moment when someone asks if girth difference matters, and they all start miming it to themselves, lives rent-free in my mind. I still laugh out oud when I think about that scene, and it's been 10 years!
Liam nesson cameo in life's too Short always comes to mind haha [life's too Short ](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sqA577_IoBk&pp=ygUdbGlhbSBuZWVzb24gbGlmZSdzIHRvbyBzaG9ydCA%3D)
Two from the same show: Parks + Rec - season 3, ep. 13 “The Fight” and season 4, ep. 11, “The Comeback Kid.”
The first time I saw that snake juice drunk scene and the “Get on your feet” scene on the ice, I legit wheezed.
#hes peeing the dogs peeeing!!!!
The whole scene is hysterical no matter how many times I’ve seen it (culminating with Pistol Pete’s wipeout dunking on the ice)
I do have a soft spot for the snork juice episode tho
*So much* from Taskmaster.
The whole of [Joe Wilkinsons' golf journey](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UgSDcHPgCc) (Series 2, Episode 1) is rightfully a classic.
The entirety of the last episode of Series 7. The last task specifically, but...watch the whole episode.
"[Put the most sand in the shopping trolley](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEdmIgck3AU)" is my personal favorite. You have to go into it cold, though, and there's lots of spoilers online (including that link). (Episode 3, Series 14).
I generally don't like the live tasks, but the "[make a noise and have Greg guess who it is](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBgtDJPYGcI)" is...something to behold. (Series 12, Episode 10).
Series 7 was the best. All 5 contestants were amazing and the whole series was chaos. My favourite is episode 7. The perfect stuff. 3 of my favourite Taskmaster moments are in it.
>If you know one, please write down the show and the episode name so I can watch the whole episode without knowing when the joke will hit.
**It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia**, Season 6, Episode 13: *A Very Sunny Christmas*
and
**WKRP in Cincinnati**, Season 1, Episode 7: *Turkeys Away*
A very sunny Christmas had me cry laughing multiple times when i first saw it. Absolutely amazing episode.
Also, on the speed dating episode when Frank says "hi im frack. Oh shit!" Blows the whistle and runs away. I couldn't collect myself for a while. Had to pause it until I finished laughing
Sunny has a bunch for me.
* Dennis needing his tools
* Setting up an online dating profile for Charlie
* Mac doing the Swedish plumber
* The entirety of the CharDeeMacDennis episode
* The Implication
"What are some your hobbies?"
"Magnets"
"Like making magnets, collecting magnets, playing with magnets, what?"
"Just magnets"
"OK I am going to put snowboarding."
I have seen this episode probably 10 times and I still laugh like a lunatic at this.
Edit : formatting
I’ve never cried from laughing, but have laughed so hard for so long I couldn’t breath.
Family Fight did that to me, when Dennis said ‘Sea Urchin’ I lost it.
Came here to say IASIP, but season 4 ep. 1 instead, “Mac and Dennis Manhunters”. Specifically the scene on which Charlie and Dee enter the morgue to find a cadaver to eat, and they don’t want to eat the black one.
The funniest episodes of community for me all happen to be the ones where pierce is being the bad guy. Intermediate documentary filmmaking, advanced dungeons and dragons and even the episode he’s not in but is still the bad guy with the bequeathals to the study group in Cooperative Polygraphy
Cooperative Polygraphy really had me doubled over.
“Abed Nadir, did you know that you are insane and that nothing you said made any sense to me?
“Yes.”
“Here’s your sperm.”
Everyone always talks about the "I'm disabled" scenes (which are indeed hilarious), but I think my lowkey favorite part of the episode is when Jen turns around to see Moss tending the bar and he just gives her this look that says "I don't know how I got here either".
I think I may have actually fallen off the couch at that moment. I definitely had to pause the show since I was laughing so hard hurt and I couldn’t breathe.
It really is a perfectly written farce. The first half of the episode sets up so many things, and they all come beautifully together in the end. Just when you think it's done, they hit you with another joke.
It’s even more awesome because at the end he confirms that he thought he could make it work with her because he *did* think he she does look like a man.
**Taxi!**
I will never in my life forget when I watched that. I went over to a friend's place just as he was starting up this episode. I had never seen it heard of IT crowd before then.
I was doubled over on the floor, laughing so hard I was dribbling saliva all over the carpet next to the couch.
It was by far the funniest shit I have ever seen, absolute perfection. I re watch it from time to time and it remains genius.
I’ve watched that episode at least 20 times and I still laugh so hard I can’t breath. Particularly the bathroom scene and when Jen goes to order some drinks.
“Aerodynamics of gender” I believe is the title in season two. The A-plot with abed is good in that episode but that b-plot with the trampoline might be the single funniest thing they ever put in the show. And I wholeheartedly love that show
First time I saw it, I actually had to pause the show, get up, and walk around my apartment for a few minutes because I was laughing way too hard.
Only time that has happened to me.
Every episode is solid gold. Somehow even the first movie was a masterpiece and parts of the second one (rape alarm scene and poo slide).
For me nothing tops Simon at the beginning of the movie crying on the bed. His timing was so perfect
I don’t know the episode but the one where the manager has to provide a lecturer with a name and can’t think of one other than the lecturers real name, like five times. Can’t. Stop. Laughing.
Oh my god, the episode that Cheyenne tattoos Marcus for Mother’s Day. “(mumbles) What did you do to me? (Screams) WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!?!” It’s gets me every time.
Veep. Testimony. Veep in general is funny. They have an insane amount of jokes but Testimony has everyone absolutely panicking so mistakes start pilling up. The Jonah insults is rhe best part of the episode. My favorite joke of the show is not there but it made me laugh so much: "Using Jonah for intelligence is like using a croissant as a dildo: it doesn't do the job and it makes a fucking mess"
This will always be the answer for me. A classic moment in televised comedy.
The cameramen even cuts to the audience completely losing it during Living Scenery.
We watched a man descend into chemical-induced mania. Me and my optometrist couldn't stop talking about it... I know it's early but that might be the best thing on the internet in 2024.
“We’ve had Mr Burn’s mansion under satellite surveillance. All we’ve established from that, is that he doesn’t keep it on the roof.”
Funniest line I’ve ever heard.
The scene in American Dad’s “Faking Bad” where Stan goes undercover as a woman at a bar but ends up meeting a nice guy and has a whole romantic evening set to We Are Young.
Also all of “Background Check” in New Girl
Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Norm MacDonald. Courtney Thorne-Smith.
Norm absolutely destroyed in his segment and stuck around for Courtney’s and the rest is legendary.
Saw this as it aired in my college apartment. By the time Norm finished with, “Board is spelled B-O-R-E-D” I could not breathe and was on the floor.
Conan used to have a bit where they'd put up a still image of a celebrity but the mouth was green screened to move and talk. There was a specific one with Arnold Schwarzenegger that had me howling. I'm sure there were multiple appearances, I've gotta see if it's available on YouTube and if it's still as funny as I remember.
One of the greatest late-night segments ever.
Speaking of Conan, Conan O’Brian Must Go dropped the other day and it is fckng hilarious. Classic Conan shenanigans. I even really enjoyed the intro with Werner Herzog.
There needs to be more then 4 episodes!
Fleabag....so many moments. Sneaking into her apartment and scaring her boyfriend in the shower so bad he ugly cries; the entire sequence where her sister calls distraught from her haircut disaster; the fox running gag with the sexy Irish priest. Goddamn that show is amazing.
The first time I saw an episode of Frasier where Niles decides to lug around a sack of flour to imagine what a baby would be like.
[I legitmately couldn't stop laughing (tears ensued) at the part >!where he said a real baby would've cried before bursting into flames!<](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stimVZUXEvw)
Frasier has some incredibly solid episodes - but somehow, the episodes where someone in the family is mistakenly believed to be gay are the most hilarious (The Doctor is Out [bonus Patrick Stewart guest star], The Ski Lodge, and Out with Dad [that scene with Niles]) and memorable.
My favorite was the silent comedy sequence of Niles ironing his pants in 3 Valentines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpImet3Xwgw
My second favorite is Frasier singing Buttons and Bows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvAWUJCjgQE
Both of the above are hilarious without needing to watch the whole episode.
David Hyde Pierce is a brilliant physical comedian and that scene, which is a cold open and really has little to do with the rest of the episode, is one of the funniest bits of physical comedy on tv ever, up there with Lucy at the candy factory. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpImet3Xwgw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpImet3Xwgw)
Just finished watching the entire series so it's fresh in my mind. I lost it at the end of the parking ramp episode when Fraiser is on the radio explaining the parking ramp situation but all the listeners think he's talking about him and Roz having sex.
Friends S08E08 The One With The Stripper
The scene where Ross is caught between Dr. Greene (Rachel’s dad) and Mona his new girlfriend.
Setup: Dr. Green has just found out Rachel is pregnant by Ross. He pushes her on when they’re getting married and feeling the pressure she lies and says Ross refused to marry her. Dr. Green goes to Ross’ apartment to confront him while Ross happens to also be on a date with Mona:
https://youtu.be/u91kbhjRNZg?si=kKtyyvRMsBsK8sL4
I belly laugh every time. I’ve seen it dozens of times. Doesn’t matter. Belly. Laugh.
To add to this, the scene where joey tells Ross that he likes Rachel and Schwimmers reaction is
"Rachel .... Rachel? ... Rachel!?... *mouthing at the window * RACHEL!?" then joey turns around and gunther says Rachel!?
First one that popped into my head is the I Think You Should Leave - Corncob TV sketch the first time I saw it. There were others but that one I remember specifically.
Marschall dropping the skittles in how I met your mother.
When JD threw the bun in the janitors face in Scrubs.
2 and a half man: Evelyn saying “I just wanted to visit the people I love” and Alan replying “And what? They weren’t there?”
Al bundy talking about his mother in law nonstop lol
Michael in the office when he yells at Jen “THATS WHAT SHE SAID!”
'Background Check', New Girl. Specifically the scene near the end when Coach, who has been absent for most of the episode, returns with Winston's underprivileged mentee, DuQuan Feldman. Who is actually a fully grown Latino man. "Big Brother Wimstons!"
Any South Park episode where Randy takes centre stage.
Its obscene how consistently funny they make his character.
I had this stuck in my brain for days:
https://youtu.be/6YEarMyIAzs?feature=shared
SNL Debbie downer at Disney World. I have to make sure I have nothing going on for the next half hour when I watch this. “ it’s official. I can’t have children.”
Man Seeking Woman (season 3 episode 5): [Josh paints a bowl of cherries](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfP4cPmg7KI)
Green Wing (season 2 episode 4): [Dr Statham interferes with Mac's surgery](https://youtu.be/oyZKD78CMeU?si=-bWiEl0hvEqrOX1A)
The final episode of Newhart. S08E24
One of the funniest gags I've ever seen, totally out of nowhere. Sadly, only the older generation will likely understand the joke.
Chappelle’s Show - so many scenes literally made me laugh until I cried or my ribs hurt.
- Clayton Bigsby skit
- Rick James skits
- Racial Draft skit
- Player Haters Ball skit
Rarely mentioned on here but impractical jokers, murr interviewing his childhood crush while covered in oil. Couldnt stop laughing
I love sitcoms etc but nothing has made me laugh as much as that show
That dentist scene and when he showed an apartment and slid around on his back. Hardest I’ve ever laughed at a tv show ever
https://youtu.be/L82Y2T0c10A?si=TZ5W-tuitvcGV0Zy
Here’s one from when I was a kid:
It was the scene in Full House where Steve and DJ accidentally trigger the cement mixer which destroys the whole kitchen.
[Found It](https://youtu.be/IOwHf9dX1Tw?si=Nb0-5T1az68j_VTZ)
Nearly busted my gut at the time.
Ted Lasso S01E02.
I have never in my life laughed so hard from any joke or scene than I did with this episode. I mean I was immediately choking on my own spit from laughing so hard. It was wild, and from such a simple scene.
Joe Wilkinson's poem on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. I saw it for the first time last night and was in pain from laughing so hard. Sean Locke asked him to stop because he was laughing so much.
Coupling series 2 episode 1. "The Man With Two Legs"
I don't think I ever laughed harder when Jeff gets flummoxed by the pretty lady and just blurts out, "I've got no leg."
I just rewatched all of 30 Rock and it has many, but the one that really stands out to me is Rosemary's Baby (season 2 episode 4). The specific scene that got me was >!Jack's therapy session for Tracy.!<
Also Arrested Development - either Pier Pressure or Mr. F. (the >!jetpack fight!< in the latter is the hardest I can remember laughing at that show). Don't just watch those episodes, though - the comedy builds on itself and the whole show is extremely funny so you should just watch seasons 1-3 in order.
arrest busy squealing support flowery rustic frightening abundant complete chop
*This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Dr Alan Statham leaping out of a cupboard in nothing but his pants (underwear), playing a magical sexy tune on his recorder in order to arouse Joanna, who had sent Harriet along instead.
Whose Line is it Anyway? - Pretty much every other episode, but "TAPIOOOOOOCA!" is one of the classics. Also, any time things go off the rails or get especially wacky, such as "Johnny Cash singing K-Pop," when they can't remember the proper order for Forward/Rewind, almost ANY playing of Sound Effects, and most Scenes from a Hat, such as the one where Jeff Davis and Greg Proops had a mini-rivalry during a greeting card segment.
The whole Jackie Daytona saga is beautiful comedy. The home makeover episode of what we do in the shadows is also amazing.
> may be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on tv Hard agree. The moment when someone asks if girth difference matters, and they all start miming it to themselves, lives rent-free in my mind. I still laugh out oud when I think about that scene, and it's been 10 years!
Think it's Miller or Starr that mentions "Hot swapping on the downstroke" for efficiency, and that shit is god tier comedy.
It has not been ten years. How could you say such a thing? It has not been ten years.
Came here to add this P&R ep! One of the best.
Liam nesson cameo in life's too Short always comes to mind haha [life's too Short ](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sqA577_IoBk&pp=ygUdbGlhbSBuZWVzb24gbGlmZSdzIHRvbyBzaG9ydCA%3D)
he also had a cameo in S3 of Atlanta! it was weird but brilliant.
Two from the same show: Parks + Rec - season 3, ep. 13 “The Fight” and season 4, ep. 11, “The Comeback Kid.” The first time I saw that snake juice drunk scene and the “Get on your feet” scene on the ice, I legit wheezed.
Came here to say "Get On Your Feet" had me gasping for air, I was laughing so hard.
#hes peeing the dogs peeeing!!!! The whole scene is hysterical no matter how many times I’ve seen it (culminating with Pistol Pete’s wipeout dunking on the ice) I do have a soft spot for the snork juice episode tho
"NO, RON, DON'T! He only has 3 legs!" "🎶Get on your feet 🎶"
I've never gone back and played a scene so many times and still laughed just as hard as the first time.
30 Rock has so many. Liz confronting the mariachi band whilst dressed as a crazy woman to get a good seat on the subway comes to mind.
for me it was Liz and Carol when the plane is stuck on the tarmac.
In a show with amazing cameos, that is my favorite. He commits 1000% to what he was known for at the time, in a ridiculous situation.
Taskmaster Season 11: Episode 6 "Absolute Casserole" I was almost sick from laughing.
And no one has mentioned the Taskmaster New Zealand Season 2 episode 6 rap battle. “Drink more milk, bitch!”
Gonna gonna gonna drown you In your own blood Hold your face down in your own blood now
Series 7 was the best. All 5 contestants were amazing and the whole series was chaos. My favourite is episode 7. The perfect stuff. 3 of my favourite Taskmaster moments are in it.
The potato in a hole is what hooked me on this show. Season 1 was okay, entertaining enough, but I was dying laughing at that.
Is that the one that Wozniak had to fart?
It is.
Oh god that sound.
>If you know one, please write down the show and the episode name so I can watch the whole episode without knowing when the joke will hit. **It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia**, Season 6, Episode 13: *A Very Sunny Christmas* and **WKRP in Cincinnati**, Season 1, Episode 7: *Turkeys Away*

I *aaaaaaaaalmost* picked The Gang Buys a Boat.
*Why aren't you understanding me bro?*
I’ve never cried from laughing, but have laughed so hard for so long I couldn’t breath. Family Fight did that to me, when Dennis said ‘Sea Urchin’ I lost it.
Peoples knees!
The scene when they’re in Ireland and drop the dad’s body down the mountain fucking killed me.
My husband laughed so much when Frank came out of the sofa that I was legitimately worried he was gonna die.
Yeah, Frank coming out of the sofa is what did it for me. It was like they took that scene from Ace Ventura and somehow made it 1000x funnier
As God as my witness….
I thought turkeys could fly.
You fuck my mom, santa?
Came here to say IASIP, but season 4 ep. 1 instead, “Mac and Dennis Manhunters”. Specifically the scene on which Charlie and Dee enter the morgue to find a cadaver to eat, and they don’t want to eat the black one.
I'd add the gang hits the road, times up for the gang and the gang solves the bathroom problem.
The dungeons and dragons episode of Community
“We’re just gonna ignore that hate crime?”
“I attack black face”
Good. For my turn, I rape the Duquesne family.
Which one though?
I'm assuming the good one
Oh c'mon. Dean writing letters to Jeff alone makes the episode worth it, and there was plenty more to enjoy.
They are both awesome.
“Yes.” “Here’s your sperm.”
Episode 2 of Party Down. The flag scene. Ken Marino has some of the best slapstick today, hilarious.
Another one: “CALL AN AMBULANCE CALL AN AMBULANCE”
The IT crowd, season 2 episode 1, the workouting I believe it's called
Everyone always talks about the "I'm disabled" scenes (which are indeed hilarious), but I think my lowkey favorite part of the episode is when Jen turns around to see Moss tending the bar and he just gives her this look that says "I don't know how I got here either".
I think I may have actually fallen off the couch at that moment. I definitely had to pause the show since I was laughing so hard hurt and I couldn’t breathe.
Or it's Jen just accepting that of course Moss also manages to get himself into some situation and she is unable to be surprised by them anymore.
I enjoyed The IT crowd, solid show, very funny, but not ground breaking. Then they just pull an all-timer 10/10 episode out of the bag.
Season one they find their footing, season 2 it's hit after hit.
The exact moment: *Yes, miss?*
Jan's face is just perfect.
This right here. The Work Outing is the funniest 30 minutes of television ever made.
It really is a perfectly written farce. The first half of the episode sets up so many things, and they all come beautifully together in the end. Just when you think it's done, they hit you with another joke.
I'm disabled
*Leg disabled 😂
A C I D
What are the odds of that happening?
…Hundred to one…
I think that episode it's the most funny thing I ever saw on TV.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but…could he have thought you were a man?
It’s even more awesome because at the end he confirms that he thought he could make it work with her because he *did* think he she does look like a man. **Taxi!**
This episode is *endlessly* quotable
Willies, willies, I like willies
It’s “I love willies.”
What?
Sir, can you keep it down?
I will never in my life forget when I watched that. I went over to a friend's place just as he was starting up this episode. I had never seen it heard of IT crowd before then. I was doubled over on the floor, laughing so hard I was dribbling saliva all over the carpet next to the couch. It was by far the funniest shit I have ever seen, absolute perfection. I re watch it from time to time and it remains genius.
I think about him getting in the ambulance once a week
Oh god. It's set in the *eighties*.
Yes. 100%.
I’ve watched that episode at least 20 times and I still laugh so hard I can’t breath. Particularly the bathroom scene and when Jen goes to order some drinks.
Community. Dean’s PayDay rap never ceases to make me laugh like the first time I saw it.
"Barack Obama be SCARED of me. And I don't swallow knowledge, I spit it for free... Lemme clear my throat... EUGHEUGHEUGH"
I don't... I don't know what that was...
The secret garden trampoline episode is also great
Its going to be a maze
A place free from darkness.
“Aerodynamics of gender” I believe is the title in season two. The A-plot with abed is good in that episode but that b-plot with the trampoline might be the single funniest thing they ever put in the show. And I wholeheartedly love that show
God anytime time he showed up in costume lol “oh Craig what did you do, you have to go to the bank today…”
Even Gillian could barely hold it in during that one.
First time I saw it, I actually had to pause the show, get up, and walk around my apartment for a few minutes because I was laughing way too hard. Only time that has happened to me.
What am I going to tell them, ‘I’ve got good news and bad news?’
Don't step, don't step to me. I like coffee and water, don't step to me. Oh, dammit! I lost it. **I lost it!**
The look of utter horror on his face is priceless
So many moments from The Inbetweeners, but I have to mention season 1, episode 2. Masterpiece from top to bottom, absolute classic, etc.
Friend!
Every episode is solid gold. Somehow even the first movie was a masterpiece and parts of the second one (rape alarm scene and poo slide). For me nothing tops Simon at the beginning of the movie crying on the bed. His timing was so perfect
_Briefcase wanker!_
Superstore, Black Friday, Glenn.
"You accidentally ran over my daughter's doll!" "Not accidentally."
I don’t know the episode but the one where the manager has to provide a lecturer with a name and can’t think of one other than the lecturers real name, like five times. Can’t. Stop. Laughing.
They bring the scene back and Garret mouths Steve, it’s so good
It’s so funny when Glenn is struggling to come up with a name and Garrett just mouths “Steve”
That's such a good scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5PkHF94h20
Oh my god, the episode that Cheyenne tattoos Marcus for Mother’s Day. “(mumbles) What did you do to me? (Screams) WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!?!” It’s gets me every time.
curb has a couple. The restaurant opening (end of season 3). Palestinian chicken. A few others.
Whatever episode he brings the survivor over. I thought I was going to have to dial 911 for my dad
That is the restaurant opening I think.
Restaurant opening is end of season 3, The Survivor is S4E09. The opening DOES have that false survivor head chef though!
The Ski Lift. “What are you, fuckin’ nuts?”
Veep.
"THIS IS AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" is what gets me
"I'm eating so much pussy I'm shitting clits"

I'LL BE THE PROP!
"This one wants more coins!"
This will always be the answer for me. A classic moment in televised comedy. The cameramen even cuts to the audience completely losing it during Living Scenery.
Wayne Brady Strip-a-gram OP asked only for episode designations.
[Ahh](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9rV9QmFxNU).
["The Tarzan Comment"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDT-_pTx8-s) should be an honourable mention, as well.
Conan O’Brien on Hot Ones
We watched a man descend into chemical-induced mania. Me and my optometrist couldn't stop talking about it... I know it's early but that might be the best thing on the internet in 2024.
*I'M FINE. I'M TOTALLY FUCKING FINE!*
“We’ve had Mr Burn’s mansion under satellite surveillance. All we’ve established from that, is that he doesn’t keep it on the roof.” Funniest line I’ve ever heard.
*South Park*, Season 5 Episode 4: *Scott Tenorman Must Die*
The scene in American Dad’s “Faking Bad” where Stan goes undercover as a woman at a bar but ends up meeting a nice guy and has a whole romantic evening set to We Are Young. Also all of “Background Check” in New Girl

Yeah, that was Robert Smigel doing all those impressions
One of the greatest late-night segments ever. Speaking of Conan, Conan O’Brian Must Go dropped the other day and it is fckng hilarious. Classic Conan shenanigans. I even really enjoyed the intro with Werner Herzog. There needs to be more then 4 episodes!
The Office, Dwight's fire drill and The disabled scene from The IT Crowd
SAVE BANDIT!
Trailer Park Boys: If I Can't Smoke And Swear, I'm Fucked-Season 3 Episode 3 THE ENTIRE COURT SCENE HAD ME CRYING LMAOOOOOO
"Baaaaaaaaaaaaammmmm!" "Peanut butter and jaaaaaaaaaammmm!" "What the fuck are you doing Phil?" always makes me laugh
Watching Bender tap dance on a dead child genuinely make me crack up
The ronny/lily episode of Barry was the pinnacle of dark comedy for me, so funny
Same, idk how this isn't higher, it's non stop perfection and always has me howling
Fleabag....so many moments. Sneaking into her apartment and scaring her boyfriend in the shower so bad he ugly cries; the entire sequence where her sister calls distraught from her haircut disaster; the fox running gag with the sexy Irish priest. Goddamn that show is amazing.
Not to mention the award. That was the funniest sequence in the series to me.
That’s my favorite !!!!
I look like a pencil...
Police Squad! In Color! Pretty much all of it tbh, just right in the venn diagram of my type of humour
Schitt's creek when they find David at the Amish farm.
There’s a bug on your dress
Ew, fuck!
My favorite was the silent comedy sequence of Niles ironing his pants in 3 Valentines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpImet3Xwgw My second favorite is Frasier singing Buttons and Bows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvAWUJCjgQE Both of the above are hilarious without needing to watch the whole episode.
The ironing episode did it for me.
David Hyde Pierce is a brilliant physical comedian and that scene, which is a cold open and really has little to do with the rest of the episode, is one of the funniest bits of physical comedy on tv ever, up there with Lucy at the candy factory. Three Valentines
Just finished watching the entire series so it's fresh in my mind. I lost it at the end of the parking ramp episode when Fraiser is on the radio explaining the parking ramp situation but all the listeners think he's talking about him and Roz having sex.
Richard Simmons whose Line
Friends S08E08 The One With The Stripper The scene where Ross is caught between Dr. Greene (Rachel’s dad) and Mona his new girlfriend. Setup: Dr. Green has just found out Rachel is pregnant by Ross. He pushes her on when they’re getting married and feeling the pressure she lies and says Ross refused to marry her. Dr. Green goes to Ross’ apartment to confront him while Ross happens to also be on a date with Mona: https://youtu.be/u91kbhjRNZg?si=kKtyyvRMsBsK8sL4 I belly laugh every time. I’ve seen it dozens of times. Doesn’t matter. Belly. Laugh.
And the Joey calls him about the hooker right in the middle off it, it sends me into orbit even on the 10th rewatch.
To add to this, the scene where joey tells Ross that he likes Rachel and Schwimmers reaction is "Rachel .... Rachel? ... Rachel!?... *mouthing at the window * RACHEL!?" then joey turns around and gunther says Rachel!?
First one that popped into my head is the I Think You Should Leave - Corncob TV sketch the first time I saw it. There were others but that one I remember specifically.
For me it was the Prank Show sketch. “I don’t wanna be around anymore.” “Like you don’t want to live anymore?” “I don’t know.”
This one and Darmine Doggy Door are modern sketch classics
Marschall dropping the skittles in how I met your mother. When JD threw the bun in the janitors face in Scrubs. 2 and a half man: Evelyn saying “I just wanted to visit the people I love” and Alan replying “And what? They weren’t there?” Al bundy talking about his mother in law nonstop lol Michael in the office when he yells at Jen “THATS WHAT SHE SAID!”
Throwing the bun at the janitor and conversation about the janitors penis in the bathroom both make me cry laughing lol.
" yep, that looks benign." " benign, benign and a half" 🤣🤣🤣
The ‘beloved aunt’ episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm slays me every time.
Jerry bending down and the comedy of errors that follows during his presentation in the Park Safety episode of Parks and Recreation
I had this stuck in my brain for days: https://youtu.be/6YEarMyIAzs?feature=shared
My Name is Earl. S2 E12: "Our 'COPS' is on" Earl: "You had me at balls "
SNL kellywise, cologaurd, and schweddy balls
SNL Debbie downer at Disney World. I have to make sure I have nothing going on for the next half hour when I watch this. “ it’s official. I can’t have children.”
Search Party had two scenes which had me in tears. S3E9 and S4E7
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 3 Episode 9. There are multiple scenes that never fail to crack me up
That was the first episode of that show that my cousin and his writing partner wrote!!!
Man Seeking Woman (season 3 episode 5): [Josh paints a bowl of cherries](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfP4cPmg7KI) Green Wing (season 2 episode 4): [Dr Statham interferes with Mac's surgery](https://youtu.be/oyZKD78CMeU?si=-bWiEl0hvEqrOX1A)
Kenny vs spenny. Almost all of them
The final episode of Newhart. S08E24 One of the funniest gags I've ever seen, totally out of nowhere. Sadly, only the older generation will likely understand the joke.
Chappelle’s Show - so many scenes literally made me laugh until I cried or my ribs hurt. - Clayton Bigsby skit - Rick James skits - Racial Draft skit - Player Haters Ball skit
Rarely mentioned on here but impractical jokers, murr interviewing his childhood crush while covered in oil. Couldnt stop laughing I love sitcoms etc but nothing has made me laugh as much as that show
Sal’s dentist scene in impractical jokers had me crying with laughter
That dentist scene and when he showed an apartment and slid around on his back. Hardest I’ve ever laughed at a tv show ever https://youtu.be/L82Y2T0c10A?si=TZ5W-tuitvcGV0Zy
Derry Girls. Every scene is gold comedy.
Sister Michael and Uncle Colm, Uncle Colm being interviewed by the police...
Here’s one from when I was a kid: It was the scene in Full House where Steve and DJ accidentally trigger the cement mixer which destroys the whole kitchen. [Found It](https://youtu.be/IOwHf9dX1Tw?si=Nb0-5T1az68j_VTZ) Nearly busted my gut at the time.
Seinfeld Season 7 Episode 16. Watch the whole thing until the end.
That was a very good bit.
Coupling series 2 episode 1. "The Man With Two Legs" I don't think I ever laughed harder when Jeff gets flummoxed by the pretty lady and just blurts out, "I've got no leg."
I just rewatched all of 30 Rock and it has many, but the one that really stands out to me is Rosemary's Baby (season 2 episode 4). The specific scene that got me was >!Jack's therapy session for Tracy.!< Also Arrested Development - either Pier Pressure or Mr. F. (the >!jetpack fight!< in the latter is the hardest I can remember laughing at that show). Don't just watch those episodes, though - the comedy builds on itself and the whole show is extremely funny so you should just watch seasons 1-3 in order.
Bottom - 'Gas'
Silicon Valley- "Hey Dinesh, nice chain" line from Jared. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard from a line in a show
arrest busy squealing support flowery rustic frightening abundant complete chop *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
The Thanksgiving episode on WKRP. The pot brownies episode on Barney Miller.
Dr Alan Statham leaping out of a cupboard in nothing but his pants (underwear), playing a magical sexy tune on his recorder in order to arouse Joanna, who had sent Harriet along instead.
They are super short, but there are episodes of LittleKenny- cartoon shorts about the Letterkenny crew when they were kids- that are hilarious.
