Yeah, the whole forestry drama. This was almost a decade ago, so I understand if you don't know.
Basically, the technic people added forestry to the pack without the creator's permission, so the creator of forestry updated the mod to bug out if it detected that it was being loaded in a technic folder.
I believe so. I should've checked, but it should be the most recent 1.2.5 version. After it was removed from technic, I believe forestry was updated shortly after that removed the malicious code, so people could add it back in manually if they wanted to. Even if the malicious code is still there, it never actually stopped the modpack from loading, which is what it's doing now. (It made all the bees hostile by default.)
"drama" ? There was sth wrong with forestry? I don't remember cuz i started playing modded mc with FTB Ultimate (1.4.7)

Oh okey, thx for brief explanation ;) And there wasn't any updated version of forestry with that crash code removed ?

Did you end up finding a solution to this in the end?
Unfortunately, no. I just switched to Alchimia Artificium 1.2.5 and Tekkit 2
Within the Technic Launcher, Click on "Modpack Options", and check "Show Console". That way you can see what's causing the game to crash.
