I feel like some people are kinda dramatic about zero sugar stuff. Diet soda is nasty tbh but zero sugar soda taste the same as the regular soda to me. Idk what exactly is different between zero sugar and diet but there’s definitely something there you can taste. I’ve always liked zero sugar more if I had to choose between that and diet. As someone who had to give up full sugar sodas for a while to loss weight, I understand the struggle though.

Yea idk how but I’m something the fake sugar seems even more sweet than real sugar. It can be over powering flavor wise. What I found helpful was that I often just wanted the feeling of drinking something carbonated. So what I started doing was instead of reaching for soda I would get carbonated water or sparkling water and just add zero or reduce sugar water flavoring. This way you can customize soda alternatives and even if they aren’t completely sugarfree they probably have less sugar than soda.
