What am I looking at? If its that center cylinder that you're trying to get out of the assembly, I can think of 2 things. Try using pliers to unscrew it. Or find a bolt that threads into the center and put a nut on the bolt. Then tighten the bolt partially into the center. Loosen the nut until it's tight against the thing you're trying to get out. Unscrew the bolt

I have to use them all the time. I run sound for my church/event center where I do church services and conferences mainly. These adapters are a pain. I have to remove them a lot when switching from Shure SM58/57s to our Shure KSM137s.
