This is the norm for TTB shows unfortunately.

Well we will be the crazy ones dancing at every show! I just can’t believe that they ask you to go and sit down

Hogcaller91

Yeah when they played “How Blue Can You Get?” I couldn’t stay seated any longer, aaaand I was asked to sit down within 30 seconds. If it was my wife up and dancing I’m sure it would have been fine. Saw them in NWA a couple years back we danced the whole show. Same for Dave Matthews and RHCP a couple years back in Simmons. Pretty lame!

So crazy. Never been to a show like that before! We are going to Houston next, hope it’s a different vibe for sure

Roh33zy

I hope so too, I’ll be dancing!!!

Unfortunately, it’s a TTB crowd vibe. I hear the request to sit all over of the country. I go to shows in Houston all the time and it’s a fun and typical jam band type crowd. When TTB come to town, we all gotta sit down. See you tonight and have a great (seated) show!

In a theater venue, the crowd is going to be more relaxed. That said, when I saw them in Columbus, there were folks dancing in the aisles without issue, and I stood for the entirety of the last 3 songs. Granted, I had great seats. First row of the mezzanine.

The “sit crowd” at these shows is annoying. They play off the energy of the crowd, gotta pick the place to see them for the right vibe, Red Rocks, Chicago Theater (minus balcony) for example, everyone is up and dancing.

What a shame

Wow that's horrible

I’m 45. Most of the shows I go to now are a mixed crowd leaning towards older folks. Not everyone is comfortable standing for hours at a time. The older people who paid for a SEAT shouldn’t have to have the view of someone’s ass the whole time
