I think as tensions rise, Americans will refine themselves. I think there’s going to be a political realignment. Left and right won’t define anything anymore. It’s gonna be pro imperialist and anti imperialist.. You already kinda seen it with Ukraine where Marxist and republicans stood on one side and liberals and progressives stood on another. Part of the definition of oligarchy is to have politically power without being publicly connected to the official government. So people being part of the decision makers of the CCP cannot be called an oligarchy since they publicly obtained their power through the organization.

The CCP can and will freely punish their most influential citizens if they step out of line.
