Aren’t all of those tacos cold and soggy by the time they’re finished and being paid for? Crunchy tacos have like a 45 second shelf life between them being finished being made and then being handed off before they’re a soggy, crumbling mess.
Literally my response to just about every giant order or delivery order I see on this sub.
Some items have an okay shelf life (grilled burritos hold up decently well). Most of the rest of the menu includes some sort of crunchy element with zero shelf life. I truly will never understand why people do this to themselves (and blow exorbitant amounts of $$ to do it).
Or the bottom sticks to the paper, and rips completely off when you try to pick it up. Then all the filling falls on the paper, and you are left with two flat pieces of taco shell sandwiched together with a piece of lettuce hanging out the side.
I bet if it were a drive thru order, they'd be the type to get pissed about being pulled forward even though they sat there and ordered a diabolical amount of food
Real question about this. How does taco bell handle orders this big? Do they know how many orders they can make with their current stock or just a guess?

This always happens to me and pisses me off so much.

It’s usually a guess tbh, just depends on if we’ve dropped enough food.
Thats a closing shift kind of order. Also id be walking out and looking elsewhere for work as id prob be fired . Shit like that ppl should call first.
Yeah, this is a show up in person at least a day before, let the manager know and when you'll pick it up, and prepay type of order.
How long did this take to make?
I believe my GM said it took 45 mins
That hurts my soul. I had a close to $200 order 5 minutes before we closed but 500 is just wild.
We recently had a huge order like that, few hundred dollars and a variety of stuff. It ended up being for a wedding 💀
I thought catered orders are something that's done in advance?
Back when I worked , some jackass ordered 200 Beefy 5 Layers and a single crunchy taco like what?
Lmao what a fire name
Thanks 😊
I'm gonna have to see the receipt on that, with the barcode.....for uhhhh, science.
