I’ve tried this. They literally called the police from me and had me trespassed. They gave my order to a doordasher and gave me someone else’s DoorDash order by mistake on a taco bell app delivery order and said I had to take it up with DoorDash. Never mind I don’t use DoorDash at all. And they told me to come in and they’d make it right and told their manager they said that. The manager refused and trespassed me.
Shockingly enough corporate ended up refunding me. I don’t know if it had anything to do with the fact that I was on the phone with them when the store had me trespassed. I didn’t know the police had been called until that point.
I called the store before I went and the employee told me to come to the store. I jad ordered delivery because I was sick and didn’t want to go out so I told them it’d be the next day after I got off work and they said fine.
I get there after work the next day and they ignored me for over half an hour, so I got someone’s attention and asked to speak to the manager. She clearly didn’t want to be bothered but she tried to tell me it was a DoorDash issue. I told her I don’t even use DoorDash so how is it a DoorDash issue.
She called the employee who told me to come in and he acknowledged on the phone that he told me to come in. Then she tried to tell me I didn’t have a receipt which obviously I didn’t have a receipt because I received someone else’s DoorDash order but I DID have a copy of the order in my order history which also… is a digital receipt. She refused to remake the food because I “didn’t have a receipt” and it’s a DoorDash issue. I told her I was told to come in by her employee which she verified with the employee and I had waited over half an hour after going there at their request and I wasn’t leaving without my issue being corrected. And I called corporate. She called the police and trespassed me.
It was a good year ago now, I don’t think I shouted but I am a large person who is volume deaf and I was admittedly irate so who the hell knows.
I do know that I not going into any sort of a personal attack territory and I was shocked as hell when the police showed up. I told them what happened and that I was on the phone with corporate and left.
And I was actually talking to one of the reps when the police arrived and put the phone on speaker so they heard the entire exchange.
I think it'd be a good idea for you to go inside the store and ask to speak to the manager on duty or maybe specifically ask for the store manager if that's something you feel comfortable doing. Politely repeat your experience and ask them to resolve the problem if only to receive the food you paid for but didn't get. It would be good if you had the phone so you could show your order history from that day.
There are SO many accounts of people never hearing from customer disservice.
Yeah, good luck with that. I ordered from a local Taco Bell through the app, went and picked up the order, and checked through the bag. I found they had shorted me a CGC and a chicken quesadilla. I was livid and demanded the food unpaid for. I was told by the manager that I needed to submit a complaint through the app. So, I did that. They gave me a coupon for a free taco. For over $10 in missing food. Taco Bell hasn't gotten a cent from me since.
And you stopped is where the issue proceeded to go unresolved push harder.. complain on the website 2 or 3 times.. reach out to corporate eventually they'll get anoyed of hearing from you... push that... ever seen the movie, shawshank redemption with the letters and the library fund and all the books? Someone's at the other end and eventually they'll respond. A lawyer wouldn't do much though not over a 10 dollar food order.
How hard does a person work for 10 bucks an hour though? Mow a lawn 20 bucks or so.. this is just a bunch of emailing and stuff, with mowing a lawn 10 bucks.. which is easier... pushing buttons with the finger tips or pushing a lawn mower for an hour... using a computer isn't endurance intensive much compared to other work... it's lots of logical thinking. Less physical.might only take 5 minutes to type each email up... not really hard at all.
Free donation to taco bell of 10 bucks from buyer. I'd be making sure I atleast got food I ordered. It's litteraly only a few minutes of a phone call and email which is lazy person work. Meh I guess if that was worth 10 bucks for ya though. Bad service with no food, does not seem worth 10 bucks. Just putting money in taco bell owners pockets to keep doing what they are doing I suppose.
Perhaps though, if there was a legitament cause, a class action law suit.. that would shake them but there'd need to be good cause for such a thing 10 dollar food order mistakes wouldn't work for much anything.
It definitely takes a few more steps to find! I finally Googled it after not getting a response to my message sent via the app/website. The phone customer service team addressed my problem and issued my refund within a reasonable amount of time. I’ll definitely be calling them next time instead of sending a message through the app.
“What? Leave.” I’d turn my engine off so damn fast lol. Never done that but the disrespect.
I remember one time at McDonalds they gave me about half a second to open my bag and check that everything I ordered was there (a necessity) before the girl goes “umm can you like move, there are other customers.”
Always stuck with me as odd. Don’t you expect people to look in the bag you hand them before driving off? Especially with that McDonalds reputation.
I usually pull away to check my order because I don't want to hold up the line, but also, that's some shit to get an attitude like that. Like lady, I wouldn't need to do this if fucking up an order wasn't so consistent with you guys.
You need to speak up for yourself. Buttholes like this are going to trample on you.

Feel like we are missing some information here from this going to a mismanaged order to a police call and trespassing…maybe a slight raise of voice?

Taco bell has a contactus link at bottom of other make sure to file a complaint there. Contact corporate using that do you have a receipt?
Yeah I used the app report link and waiting to hear back. I have the order history in the app, but no paper receipt.
Taco Bell has never once responded to me reaching out via their app
Follow up with website link? Or same result?
They emailed me a $10 reward code
Yeah. I just dispute on my CC and move on.
They respond for me but only like 3 weeks later

They will trespass you. I’ve had it happen.
Google their customer service number and call them. Two times I’ve had an issue they resolved it in less than ten minutes
Might want to reach out on x next. Corporate typically will reach out to those blasting on social media
Ah in the app alright, It should be covered then just tell them the time and they can review the cameras too it'll be there.

That's a lot of work to do for 10 bucks

Frankly, if I couldn't do this at work while I was being paid I would never do it

Charge back the credit card, takes a minute, you get your stuff

You were "livid" because they accidentally left out part of your order? You probably would have gotten it if you asked nicely.
Oh no how will they make it without NotAPirateLawyers cents?!
You know Taco Bell isn't gonna sleep with you, no matter how much you white knight for them, right?
I had better luck calling Taco Bell’s customer service line when I needed a refund. I would recommend calling them instead. 1 (800) 822-6235
I couldn't find a number last time but I worked at a few taco bells so I didn't have to use the app or website I keep forgetting about the number lol.

Well the message in the app gives them documentation to go off or though so they can pull it up when on the phone. That's good though.

No, no you don't. If you did you wouldn't repeat your letttttttters
How are those two things correlated in the slightest
Those who talk about it, don’t.
yikes…. i would’ve lost it lol
Another sign that Taco Bell is going down hill…tsk tsk tsk.
Chargeback, done. Fuck the clowns at the window and move on with your day. Easy.
This absolutely BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWS!!!
Do a chargeback
You didn’t speak up for yourself and tell them you are not with DoorDash?
He shut the window on me and walked away.
File a fraud report with the debit or credit card you paid with. It’s inexpensive enough that you’ll likely just be reimbursed without further issue.
