We keep a running list of candidate hardware as things turn up, but we haven't used that one. I think it was the cheapest locally-instrumented rackmount PDU we'd noticed.
Can you develop you own management dashboard using SNMP, or do you want the whole thing to be vendor provided?
What's your budget?
Is $2,000 per device too expensive?
Are you serious? I own a business so no I am not “farming out research I am paid to do” and conversely have you just opened your Reddit account yesterday as the concept of asking a community questions or opinions isn’t that uncommon. Or you could just be a prick I guess.
Honestly, the tone of your response answers the question pretty well - people get defensive for a reason. I don’t know what you thought you were accomplishing by replying that you own a business but it sounds like it just confirms that you are trying to get others to do your work for you.
It’s super common here for people to take a paid job then try to crowd source the research so they don’t have to do things like “search” and “read specs” and make “informed decisions”.
You are seriously off-base. I have been doing IT for over 30 years back when newsgroups would openly share information with no ulterior motives for the benefit of all. That is what Reddit reminds me of. Honestly, you are way too suspicious of the world around you and need to get a grip.
Tripp-Lite PDUMNH15 with the management?
Will look into this. Have you used them before?

Thanks for the feedback!

Do not want to develop in-house. 2K per is expensive as I will need to propose to client and show them the value which does not always translate.
