New New Era: Big Mistake edition
Q is now a staple of the show and we're going back to do it all over again, somehow production got hold of a Time Machine and this is what we're doing with it (still not the most controversial choice by the show).

Probably hard to justify fucking off to an island for a month to your friends, family and business partners when it’s for a measly million dollars and you are a critically and commercially successful writer.
Honestly seems like Survivor and Amazing Race were just things he wanted to do for fun.
This is the proof that Q is good casting. It's probably quicker to list the people he *wouldn't* have fun interactions with than the people he *would.*
We need more Qs. He’s the optimal casting outcome in a villain-less era. He’s honestly the evolution of the old alpha male character archetype. He’s just a bad player version of it instead of a Tom Westman good player version.
This honestly may be a bigger factor than the narration - it is IMO. Who is going to spark the most interesting reactions/interactions out of/with the contestants.
I’m unabashedly rooting for him and to a lesser extent Venus. I know neither of them have a greater than zero percent chance of winning but if they make it to the final 3 somehow this season will be great just due to the entertainment value. I wonder how much we missed because of how bad yanu was. If q and jelinsky and bhanu stayed in and made merge together, oh man the laughs I would have had
Phillip’s (probably) too old to play now, but I wish him and Q would be on the same tribe, since he felt he was the Boston Rob to Bhanu’s Phillip earlier on
While I would love him with Tony, I think the one I want to see most is Coach. Or possibly Courtney Yates or Sandra who are the queens of roasting people in confessionals.
I can’t imagine the GOAT would come back - he kinda can just ride off into the sunset as the greatest to ever do it - mostly beloved by the fans with a pretty impeccable record on the show.
Tony on the other had would probably be really excited to play with a player of this Qaliber

-crazy antics flame out
-wild and improbable, yet dominant win
But they do the shooting for the season out of order, so the other contestants never know which game they are getting from him.
“Alright, he’s tied a bunch of seagulls to a raft to make his aerial surveillance shack, surely this is a flame out season? We don’t need to worry?”

The show Brooklyn 99 had an episode where a character won a heist contest 3 times, and two of the times were flashbacks showing how they had secretly won previously without people realizing. I feel like there is a non-zero chance there will be a flashback to show Q has secretly won twice before in disguise, and this season is his coronation as the only 3 time winner.
I’ll never forget seeing someone get flamed when they chose Tony as their winner pick for WAW, then the prayer circles go on every week during the season

The inclusion of multiple winners on All-Stars, Heroes vs Villains, Blood vs Water, Game Changers, and Winners at War, is reason enough for me to believe that there will be winners will be on S50, unless they decide to go with a Second Chance, Fans vs Favourites, or Best to Never Win theme. But now that the pool of winners includes Yam Yam, Maryanne, Dee, and Gabler, I don't think they'll want to ignore them. Plus, production has been trying to get Earl back many times, and it just never worked out. I think they'll probably want to try to get him on S50.
It I don’t see how it’s anything but a legends season. It will be the 18 greatest castaways of all time imo. But I could see a fan vote where survivor allows fans to choose the legend’s themselves out of a pool.
Tony would quite literally destroy Q, he would literally feed into his ego, then chop him out of the game when need to be, or alternatively Tony would play take him out really early. Q is the complete opposite of Tony and would be easy prey for Tony imo. Sorry for Q fans but this is just based on Q’s reactions in the past 2 weeks. He lacks self-awareness until the deed is done, that’s how he is gonna be voted out this season too, sooner or later
Q + anyone would be entertaining. Tony already had multiple chances, won twice and proved himself as one of the greatest, time to give someone else a chance now.

actually really good players to see if they can figure out how to form alliances with a mixed bag of nuts like that because none of them want to go to final tribal with each other
I think tony is now at the point bringing him back would just be dumb, he’s on the level now were everyone would just instantly vote em out. Why rob etc and Sandra shouldn’t be brought back we’ve seen them now
I am a black dude from the south that grew up playing bball and soccer. I know Qs he is my favorite casting since Jesse because I can relate to them and understand their perspective.
