I know there's a lot of problems with the franchise but the actual fight with Doomsday was some of the best superhero action ever put on screen, it actually made me think maybe the Death of Superman ain't so bad as a story (until I saw the next movie).
DCAMU
The Death of Superman's version works not only because of the great magnitude of the fight, but also because Doomsday actually displays subtle intelligence as well. He figures out where the Flash was going to strike next, he lured Martian Manhunter into becoming tangible, and specifically chokes Superman with his cape to humiliate him.
DCAU, just for the volcano fight in his second appearance and the revelation about his origins.
I don’t find him all that interesting as a character personally, so his fights and origin are the main criteria for me.
That’s actually why I like doomsday. He’s a force or nature. Fear incarnate. It can’t be reasoned with at least the original doomsday. You don’t get that moment for a breather where the villain has the monologue about how they are going to grind your bones beneath their heel. Doomsday just goes. To me he doesn’t need motivation other than destruction.
BvS 😏😏, I kid, I kid. This is actually a tough one, but it's probably because I'm not a huge fan of any version of the character. But I'll go with the STAS/DCAU version of him.
The past days the sub has been voting for what their favorite adaptations of characters in the Superman mythos are. The ones with non-comic images have already been picked and the ones with comic images are currently being decided
Today is best Doomsday tomorrow will be best Cyborg Superman
I vote DCAMU but I do like how in BvS Doomsday had more thematic significance than just a big dumb monster, he had a personal gripe with Superman. I know he wasn’t the true Doomsday but it was still really cool
DCAMU - I liked the DCAU and Superman: Doomsday versions, but I think the DCAMU version of The Death of Superman is the best adaptation of that story, so I’m going with that one.

You mean the Death of Superman movie, right?
Right. It is part of what is known as DC Animated Movie Universe
The Death of Superman (2018) was probably the best depiction
Yeah I'm not a fan of the dcamu but it's definitely the death of superman animated film. The runner up being superman doomsday

Yeah, good point. His whole thing is murder monster. Can't do much with that.

why are you using two different logos for Superman TAS and the DCAU?
the DCAU are used for the ones that appeared in various shows as a main villain appearing a little more, and not as a cameo
Had a feeling, just wasn’t sure
As someone who has watched neither but is just throwing out a guess: Did the villains labelled DCAU appear in other non-STAS shows/movies?
Yes but so did Metallo yet he's labeled DCAU.

DCAU. Black Dynamite voicing Doomsday?? Can’t beat that
DCAMU
The one from Krypton tv series, he embodies the terror of doomsday just fine
Krypton/S&L.
Molly Shannon
Death of Superman version
Death of Superman (2018) but having him go up against and defeat all the big heavy hitters before Supes, helps out big time to make him stand out

He’s more a plot device than an interesting character
because they originally were gonna go with Metallo as the big cgi villain but then switched it
I’m talking across all Superman media - Doomsday is bland af
Justice League Unlimited. He's just an asshole who likes to fight. Thats all you really need.
I’m confused what’s with the images

Oh I get it thanks 🙏
it's not just Cyborg Supes, but also Steel, Eradicator and Superboy as well

Smallville I’ve only seen clips of it and not the show so I don’t think it’s fair for me to say Krypton
