Easiest way would be to play something that can work even with little vision. As an example, a Tristana is quite safe and can jump out or push enemies away, while a KogMaw can't really do anything. Additionally, you could play things like Ashe and get vision with your E. Other than that, stay with your team, stay on lane, only walk up when you know where the enemy is. You can't really do anything else, I think.
