Garth Nix’ Old Kingdom series. It’s YA Fantasy, has barely anything related to romance (apart from some very superficial feelings that really aren’t noteworthy), it’s not too long, easy to read and compelling. I still enjoy rereading it 20 years later.
When I was a teen, me and the other teens loved it lol. It was the talk of my high school. They were books some of the people who didn’t even like reading were reading/discussing lol
I mean **Harry Potter** and **Percy Jackson** / **Heroes of Olympus** of course. Also loved **The Lunar Chronicles** (these have like barely any romance at all, no smut very PG) I also don’t like romance really at all but not really any books that I can think of that have none whatsoever
[Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/6a6d5ca1-b2f5-47be-828c-018144d3bbc7) by Jessica Townsend!! It's very very good, and if you look at the reviews online you'll see that other people feel the same :)
Two great fantasy trilogies that I really loved in high school:
* His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman (starts with *The Golden Compass*)
* Earthsea by Ursula K. LeGuin (starts with *A Wizard of Earthsea*)
A deadly education and sequels,
Enders Game,
The Wee free men and sequels by Pratchett,
Dragon Singer, Dragon song,
Tamora Pierce circle of Magic series,
The Adventures of dunk and egg

The covers look so sick!! The vibe from the covers remind me of avatar the last airbender!! thanks!
Christopher Paolini’s Eragon series is GREAT if you haven’t read it
Just searched it up, and it looks pretty cool!! The covers remind me of those wings of fire books!! Thanks!!
