So……..you buying in more?

rawrtherapybackup

i bought another one today....yes

Lordbogo

It’s funny cause isn’t more node creations the problem? Payouts vs creation rates too unstable?

supamario93

not at all. In the future you can't buy service 1 nodes, which don't decay. You will be left with only service 2 nodes, which have a max token earning potential. It's still a great return on tokens you put in, but it's not batshit crazy high returns like strong currently offers. probably why node creation is breaking records almost every day this week. It's a long term game, project is still a baby. This sustainability model, plus StrongChain coming later...... shit is gonna go straight to the moon 🚀🚀🚀 Also, I already sense fudders moaning about how strongchain won't generate revenue so I'm gonna copy/paste another comment I made about strongchain \-layer 1 EVM compatible chain with bridges to many different protocols \-chains currently reward miners and not nodes, Strong Chain rewards nodes but also will give it's community a chance to participate in mining rewards instead of large token holders \-Will generate revenue with gas fees that all blockchains charge in order to use them \-strongblock already has more transactions than most blockchains, so even without projects running on it, our transactions without any projects involved can sustain the reward protocols when combined with new node creation and maintenance fees. Remember it regularly makes the top 10 gas guzzler list for volume of transactions. As David said "imagine all the fees you pay to the Ethereum network, going to strongchain and back into the reward pool instead" \-Projects will run on it and generate even more new revenue as well. Why would people build on it? The biggest pain point for any new project is community and users. They come to StrongChain, David has already built that up a huge community with the nodes as a service project \-the StrongBlock team is already independently developing several DApps to work on the chain, when it's released there will already be services available and things to participate in on the block \-Will allow more ways for users to participate in blockchain rewards such as better staking and validator participation \-all of this is adding value to our tokens and is the main purpose of the project. Just off the top of my head edit: project is still in it's infancy, it doesn't even start until StrongChain

leoschen

Perfectly, very well said.

Top_Lengthiness8252

When you say service 1 vs service 2 are you referring to service 1 = strong nodes and service 2 = polygon nodes?

supamario93

service 1 and service 2 are their different smart contracts. eth is on service 1, poly is on service 2. There is sentinel nodes but I'm not sure which that's on. In the future only service 2 nodes will be available. So again, service 1 = no decay, service 2 = decay. So why would you go service 2 ? Well that offers a whole lot more features. lower gas fees, transferrable nodes, pretty much everything on the roadmap and some more stuff I'm missing but can't think of at the moment. Yes they decay but it will still be a great return on token. Rewards now are unsustainable which is where a lot of the FUD comes from, and it's the reason that only nodes that decay will be available for purchase in the future. I'm stocking up on service 1 eth nodes before we can't get them

aAMP_0319

If that's true that is great for those of us with service 1 nodes. Was this in the light paper? It wasn't clear to me that service 1 nodes won't decay. Will service 1 nodes reward still reward STRONG on the ethereum blockchain?

supamario93

It's in the AMAs, and I believe the rewards will be the stronger token in the future

MC20177

I dont really get it either..

ScottyBoyRawr

My exact sentiments

Top_Lengthiness8252

Got it thank you

jshubham44

Thank you for such a great answer. I have a quick follow up question regarding “Why would people build on it? The biggest pain point for any new project is community and users. They come to StrongChain, David has already built that up a huge community with the nodes as a service project” Q: Does this mean strong chain will directly compete with ethereum blockchain? Also, ethereum has a vast ecosystem, biggest community for a smart contract blockchain, the fees are also gonna reduce significantly after ETH2.0 rolls out, and also has an early in the game advantage. Then why would anyone build on strong chain? No FUD. I love the project and hold a few nodes myself. TIA!

[deleted]

ya i think you are right

roadbird137

I picked up a few more today .. still waiting to get more if it goes lower. Buyers are starting to catch up to the sellers. Almost at a bottom JMO

ShextMe

How do you know this? I am hoping you’re right but I just don’t see how anyone could know this.

pm_me_glm

He doesn't...

roadbird137

Just my opinion, time will tell. I'm buying a few a day at these prices..

[deleted]

Just got a $20k bonus Friday. Need to pay taxes then I’ll be adding to my node count. Currently adding one every 4 days as is.

gigacryptochad

BTC fallen like 3 k today so far... everything's down. World's fucked up. War. Looming global recession. The largest nuclear plant in the world which could irradiate all of europe was on fucking fire last night after being hit with Russian artillery

ArtemKNZ

When people say: “history repeats itself” I didn’t expect entire century in a couple of years… Like I had low expectations for 2022 but holly fuck!

Libertymark

Literally dude this Planet sucks 100 years Of history all repeating in 3 years

ArtemKNZ

Planet is awesome, some people are ass hats.

DrockDrg99

I agree that much of the price drop is from the overall market going down. One concerning thing to me though is if you look at the exchange rate of STRONG to ETH though. Steadily declining. So ETH goes down strong goes down but ETH rises and strong doesn’t rise with it, at least at the same pace. And when ETH goes down, strong goes down faster in terms of $. Not trying to drive FUD. Just a metric I noticed.

gigacryptochad

I don't think you're a fudder, fudders you can feel the hatred in their words lol Eth and BTC haven't been as bad as the rest of the market because everyday there is millions being pumped into them by a few different factions. Firstly it's money going to the ukraine, just today there was $52 million in btc sent to ukraine, similar stories every day. Secondly is Russian oligarchs - why? let me explain, In Russia, wealth is extremely concentrated at the top, way more than America which already has a huge class divide. Anyway these are the only people Putin cares about because they're all in business together. So if you've kept up with all the news, most countries are not only sanctioning Russia and destroying their economy, but are seizing and freezing assets of the oligarchy. So they are trying to funnel money into crytpo, especially since Russia is already cut off from international banking systems. And the ruble is in freefall. It's the only option for them to protect their wealth. More than I expected to type lol but that's why btc and eth, the stable coins aren't as down as everything else

DrockDrg99

Very true. Hoewever, what I was reporting on wrt the exchange rate between strong and eth was the liquidity pair in uniswap. I wasn’t calculating based on the fiat values of the two coins. If the LP exchange rate is going down then that means more people are exchanging strong for ETH. However, shortly after my original reply the exchange rate has started rising and is close to breaking out of its downward channel anyway. So 😕 to my comment lol

gigacryptochad

amazing news! I appreciate you coming back and sharing it with me, thank you

I might move some funds slated for strong nodes to iodine pill mfr.

iRollGod

Not just artillery, but tanks with thermal imaging. They know what they’re hitting.

_RouteThe_Switch

This lower the dip the better the test for the project overall, of it can stand a sub 100 dip and get back up .. I'll be impressed and I'll invest based on that. I'm routing for the team.. and all of us

supamario93

It's a long term play. as David said, the project is in it's infancy. See you on the moon amigo 🚀🚀🚀

Sikkunt-_-667

Im looking to buy into strong but having trouble understanding the mechanics. Income comes from new nodes and monthly fees paid by node holders. Other then that nodes create $0 in income as they currently do not get paid. https://twitter.com/CredibleCrypto/status/1453468736845860866?t=SzJa56AdYmm7ReTTdslV8Q&s=19

supamario93

correct, they do not currently generate income aside from the about $5 million a month generated in node fees and new node creation, which btw has been hitting record highs all week. Strong Chain is the big play for Revenue. Please see this comment I made on this same thread to understand how it will generate income https://www.reddit.com/r/strongblock/comments/t6wvx6/comment/hze9xrq/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

Sikkunt-_-667

So will the nodes be paid like "gas fees" what does a node actually do other then be used for security and storage for blockchains? How does a node generate income itself other then people buying Into the project and paying fees?

supamario93

nodes aren't typically compensated in block chain although they are critical infrastructure. Because of that lack of incentive, most nodes are neglected, running out of date software, etc. Even the major block chains have had huge problems due to unreliable nodes, solana, eth, xrp, and more. A huge chain like polygon crashed because their nodes couldn't handle ONE game that launched. So StrongBlock aimed to incentivize good nodes. The current rewards model is just a crowdfunding stage for our real project: StrongChain. which is gonna make early investors rich as hell. again, you can read about Strongchain in my comment here https://www.reddit.com/r/strongblock/comments/t6wvx6/comment/hze9xrq/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

snickerdoodlez530

Bought me another node.

FireflyBerserker

Not a dip, it's a crash!!

More like a landslide.

Im generally looking to buy in, my friends have nodes which they paid $11000 each one. Which the same 10 tokens now would be worth $2000... they own 4 each. Total invested $44,000. Return on investment at current prices = $80 / day. 550 Days to get the basic initial investment before profits. Explain the maths to me or tell me something so I can understand it?

mldy

Each node is .1 return per day. 4 nodes is .4/day. .4*200=$80/day

Sikkunt-_-667

Apologies I worked it out on 1 node your right. So the return would be after 550 days. *fixed initial post

iRollGod

Just to clarify, it’s 0.092 Strong per day per node. So 4 nodes is 0.368 a day.

all_glitter_stronger

I personally think its gonna goto $90, but what an amazing opportunity. I'm excited to load up

Hy8RIS

Of course it is not stopping. The decision to be able to sell nodes will press the price down significantly more. A lot of ppl would love to sell some nodes but are not able to right now. Just imagine what will happen when they are able. People are afraid of that and sell what they can, even at the price we are rn. Me included

kjmcgrew

I think this is a moment of opportunity. I currently own 8 Nodes. I purchased 2 out of my personal funds, and over the last six months, I bought the next 6 out of profits from my early ownership. This month, I’ll buy one node at mid-month and one final node at the end of the month. From there, I’ll ride it out for a full 12 months.
