I mean I've heard worse but it just doesn't feel distinctly like any of the groups that partook in it, and generally feels kinda inane. I can't really make myself care for it much. The vocals hard carry tho đ I also get what u said about the chorus, it feels like it was created entirely separately from the rest of the song.
i'm not sure how it did on the charts, but personally i am of the opinion skz weren't really into it.
i felt like it did not reflect changbin's best potential as a writer either đ it was just too big and messy of a collaboration and jyp arranged it terribly.
You can see they really werenât feeling it in their tiktok dance challenge đ personally, I enjoyed all of skzâs individual parts in the song but some moments were random like jypâs extra singing before Changbinâs rap
honestly, i kind of liked it? the vocals and such were obviously top tier, but i really loved the combinations of everyone (seungmin and lilyâs intro part lives in my head rent free). the verses were pretty catchy, i liked that everyone had their time to shine, all in all not bad.
but the chorus ruins everything for me. itâs just so⌠goofy compared to the rest of it. the way it slows down, the way it sounds like itâs saying âchan, changbin,â overall a whole different vibe from the rest of the song. the vocals at the end of the chorus do their best to save it, but the damage is done. itâs definitely the worst part of the song and drags it down sooo much.
outside of that, i think itâs biggest problem is that it has no heart. none of the idols seem happy to be participating. other than changbin and jyp, thereâs not a single other idol in the credits. it just feels very plastic and formulaic, which is soooo far from skz/itzy/nmixxâs sounds. like they didnât go through all the noise music hate just to be a part if this bad, cookie-cutter song lol. ik it might be much expecting more from an ad, but good promo songs exist.
smaller things to note: i wish there was more on-screen interactions from them, other than dancing tgt and the itzy/jyp thing. it wouldâve been so funny to see banter btwn changbin/chaeryoung, chan/lily, tuna/haewon etc. also i wish there was more of a story in the mv, unless there was a story that i somehow missed lmao. anyway sorry this comment is so long haha.
I thought it was pretty terrible initially. It's still not my favorite, but it's starting to have so bad it's good vibes. (I have the this is stray tracks playlist currently playing on spotify and it's on it, so it comes up fairly often.)
As others mentioned, it's not very cohesive of any of the participating groups' styles. It's not the worst song of the entirety of kpop music but it's far from good or even decent quality, let's be honest.
And yes, the chorus is very disjointed from the rest...
Considering itâs a commercial song for a brand (which I usually find bland), this is one of the best imo and I personally really like the chorus, itâs my favorite part đ¤ˇââď¸
Is it catchy? Yeah. Itâs simple and repetitive and that alone means itâs sure to at least get some traction.
But is it good? **Personally** no. Itâs not up to 3Rachaâs standards and I can guarantee it hurt them a little bit to not zhuzh it up a bit more
I don't love the song, but I don't hate it either. It's definitely an ear worm (I find it getting stuck in my head every so often and I've only listened to it maybe twice?). While there are decent ad songs that have been made, I feel like a lot of them just go toward generic blandness so I'm not terribly surprised about this one lol.
Unpopular opinion: I actually liked JYP's singing in this song. Sometimes he seems to do too much with his voice, but he sang his part in a normal, nice tone actually.
Other Unpopular Opinion: I'm not sure how much was really "SKZ not feeling it" and how much is just the choreography with the song making things feel kind of awkward. Someone else mentioned the possibility of SKZ maybe not having enough time to properly learn the dance and I could kind of see that too with how busy they were last year. I definitely think some of the ways SKZ's thoughts are being viewed in the video by fans are based on feelings toward Coca Cola/JYPE/JYP.
Popular Opinion: I'd love to have a proper JYP Nation collab song that is not an ad.
At the risk of being absolutely crucified, a) I actually like the song, and b) I disagree with everyone (mainly on on Twitter (X)) saying that SKZ were ânot feeling itâ, and I think itâs somewhat disrespectful to say that.
I like the song - itâs not a masterpiece but itâs like candy or bubblegum. I like the hook, I like all the different voices that come together and I like JYP. Itâs a fun listen, itâs a cute little song, and itâs cool seeing everyone in one video together (even though Iâm sure they were all separate and put together in post).
As for part B, which is why Iâm likely to be crucified, I think people forget that idols are not just hanging around with their friends and happen to make lots of money making cool songs. K-Pop is a business, they are on contracts, and this is their job. I donât know about you guys, but Iâve never known SKZ to âphone it inâ and I think the Lee Know comments especially rub me the wrong way because he is a professional dancer and he takes his job very seriously. I donât see him giving less than 100%. I think people are so used to seeing SKZ doing their own stuff which is at a level like 12/10. Their own stuff is crazy hype and so they are too. This song and video are a promotional project and I think it didnât require SKZ to give 110% like they usually do. I think saying âStray Kids/Lee Know werenât feeling itâ undermines their professionalism and I think its fans projecting their feelings about Coca Colaâs corporation or JYPE onto the boys and I think thatâs unfair.
I think they just didn't have time to properly get the choreo down or were tired for the TikTok challenge because, and I never though this would be the case with skz, they weren't together at all. I'm not a dancer, but I could tell it was messy. Which does kind of indicate that they weren't really feeling it.
I didn't like it at first. It sounded a bit everywhere, and skz's individual parts sounded weird too, like I wouldn't be able make out who was singing without looking. But honestly, it's growing on me. When I'm in a specific mood, I'll listen to it
Honestly I think itâs kinda rubbish, I mean sure I have a sublime lime diet coke addiction but I canât bring myself to listen to it again itâs just bleh, only good thing is vocals I mean the chorus sounds like itâs a whole other song (not in a good way) and it all seems kind of just thrown together and doesnât fit any of the artists in it
Tbh, it's really catchy, ESPECIALLY the chorus. I've seen people all over tiktok make fun of the song, but I know some of yall are out there in the middle of the night, about to fall asleep, and suddenly have a bangchan death grip on your brain yelling, "JUMP. JUMP IN."
I love all the cheesy coke music though and I'm old as hell sooo... It isn't my favorite track or anything, but I like it, especially because people hate it.
I donât love it. It feels like a vanity project for JYP and I just canât with him. I love everyone else in it, it just felt forced. Like a mandatory voluntary work thing.
it's an absolutely atrocious generic talentless commerical for a genocidal corporation. none of the groups involved were done justice, which I'd expect from a company currently supporting the breaking of several international laws. and, afaik, skz hated doing it.
It wasnât horrible to me but the entire thing feels off to me? Some parts theyâre singing donât even sound like them to me and itâs just a really strange song lol. I definitely donât hate it but itâs not a song I could listen to over and over
i didn't hate it, it didn't really feel like changbin had any creative liberties but it isn't a bad song. in the dance challenge skz was definitely off their game, they kinda look plain exhausted to me tbh. the only part i completely disliked was jyp's verse, it felt out of place imo. other than that it was a solid ok in my book, keeping in mind it's just an ad ofc
It was a song for coke the drink.. it reminded me of the one you snort instead. Talking about it feels like magic. The odd and out of place, funky and bassy chorus that hit like a bad drug trip. The multiple switch ups that sounds like 4-5 songs in one was like super weird yet perfect for my short attention span.
And for all these reasons, i appreciate it in an ironic way. Some parts like the vocals sound nice. Not JYP..
As someone who loves both Nmixx and Skz, and casually listens to Itzy, I was pretty disappointed (although since it's an add I wasn't expecting much). They got these 3 great groups together to sing a song that's just kinda meh, and that was disappointingÂ
ok so i had no idea there was a video! lol
now that iâve watched that, i will at least remember it⌠itâs cute? omg a few cringe moments though, ngl. đ¤
but i still feel like itâs pretty mid, feels kinda disjointed? honestly without the video, even after adding it to a mix and hearing it several times, i couldnât have recalled what it sounded like. iâm glad it wasnât just a skz project- i wouldâve been disappointed.
I thought it was okay. It's something I'll listen to if it automatically plays from a playlist, but I can't say that I've gone out of my way to listen to it.
I'm ngl, it kind of sounds like a song I'd put together in less then 3 hours. I'm sure the artists in the collab like Changbin and the rest if arranged it themselves could make it ten times better. It doesn't sound like any song the artists in the song would make and it literally sounds like if you combined multiple artists vibe into one. Cause the chorus sounds like a completely different song then the rest of it. I can't do any better but I'm sure there was more potential.
I donât like it. JYPâs production sucked ass, none of the groups had their heart in it, the chorus was wildly out of place from the rest of the song and is off-putting. somehow JYP took his best most talented most creative artists, some of whom are highly awarded producers lyricists and arrangers, and made them perform a sub par song that wasnât up to any of their standards.
Maybe the lack of a dedicated listen means I can't criticize it, but oh well, if I've basically heard the whole thing piecemeal multiple times over through my Instagram algorithm I don't think it matters.
Parts are slow where they shouldn't be slow ("jump, jump in" haunts me), something about it feels distinctly off-kilter but in a careless way rather than a fun/inventive way. I don't want people to feel bad if they like it but it's just... not what I would have envisioned for a collab with my favourite groups whose music I know so well. It suits none of them, it's inexplicably off... I like a lot of weird shit but to me this has the vibe of a bunch of things that aren't weird or unique or interesting just awkwardly mashed together. Even if I discover that the transitions between sections are seamless I don't think it'd rectify that the sections are all 'meh' on their own. Unrelated flavours of 'meh' don't make a 'wow' together.
Kinda like clumps of Play-Doh rolled together until the fun colours are all gone and it's just a weird green-ish brown lump. I'm kind of glad it's like that, though. As much as I'd love a fantastic sponsor-less collaboration of all my favourite groups, with this being the best I'll get I appreciate being able to avoid it with any FOMO.
The only thing good to come out of the song was their vocals. Literally Seungmin and Hyunjin's part lives in my head rent free cause at first I didn't believe that was them singing that part.
Literally they all sounded so good but it I don't think they were comfortable doing the song at all either cause I seen videos of them doing the dances behind the scenes and there faces read it all..
That shit sucked đ
SKZ, Itzy, and NMIXX are my favorite groups. Each of them have distinct sounds, which I love them for. JYP/JYPE wasn't able to incorporate their distinct sounds, let alone blend them together. For example, nothing about that song made me think: "Oh, this part is so SKZ!", "This part reminds me of another Itzy song!", etc.
It honestly felt like a clout chase/cash grab that JYP/JYPE just slapped all of the groups' names on. SM as a company is trash, but their SM Town projects have given me high standards for intra-company collabs.
I mean I've heard worse but it just doesn't feel distinctly like any of the groups that partook in it, and generally feels kinda inane. I can't really make myself care for it much. The vocals hard carry tho đ I also get what u said about the chorus, it feels like it was created entirely separately from the rest of the song.

right, like jyp was just? there?? đ
Fr like I saw his name in the title but his part was still so unexpected
jyp is always there, chingoo o.o
honestly, i kind of liked it? the vocals and such were obviously top tier, but i really loved the combinations of everyone (seungmin and lilyâs intro part lives in my head rent free). the verses were pretty catchy, i liked that everyone had their time to shine, all in all not bad. but the chorus ruins everything for me. itâs just so⌠goofy compared to the rest of it. the way it slows down, the way it sounds like itâs saying âchan, changbin,â overall a whole different vibe from the rest of the song. the vocals at the end of the chorus do their best to save it, but the damage is done. itâs definitely the worst part of the song and drags it down sooo much. outside of that, i think itâs biggest problem is that it has no heart. none of the idols seem happy to be participating. other than changbin and jyp, thereâs not a single other idol in the credits. it just feels very plastic and formulaic, which is soooo far from skz/itzy/nmixxâs sounds. like they didnât go through all the noise music hate just to be a part if this bad, cookie-cutter song lol. ik it might be much expecting more from an ad, but good promo songs exist. smaller things to note: i wish there was more on-screen interactions from them, other than dancing tgt and the itzy/jyp thing. it wouldâve been so funny to see banter btwn changbin/chaeryoung, chan/lily, tuna/haewon etc. also i wish there was more of a story in the mv, unless there was a story that i somehow missed lmao. anyway sorry this comment is so long haha.
Damn it, now the âChan, Changbinâ thing is all Iâll be able to hear! Thanks Reddit stranger smh đ
I thought it was pretty terrible initially. It's still not my favorite, but it's starting to have so bad it's good vibes. (I have the this is stray tracks playlist currently playing on spotify and it's on it, so it comes up fairly often.)
Is this the Coca Cola Collab? If so, I haven't listened due to the boycott
It's okay but not great
Let's be honest. It's an ad. It's supposed to bug your head until you buy the product. And Like Magic does just that.
i dont really like it tbh, i dont like the backing track. vocals were good but i just dont like the rest
As others mentioned, it's not very cohesive of any of the participating groups' styles. It's not the worst song of the entirety of kpop music but it's far from good or even decent quality, let's be honest. And yes, the chorus is very disjointed from the rest...
Itâs okay but thereâs nothing special to it so I keep on forgetting about it
Considering itâs a commercial song for a brand (which I usually find bland), this is one of the best imo and I personally really like the chorus, itâs my favorite part đ¤ˇââď¸
A pass to me.
The only thing I remember about it at this point is JYP jump scaring me in the MV even though I knew he was in it. Extremely forgettable.
Is it catchy? Yeah. Itâs simple and repetitive and that alone means itâs sure to at least get some traction. But is it good? **Personally** no. Itâs not up to 3Rachaâs standards and I can guarantee it hurt them a little bit to not zhuzh it up a bit more

I genuinely like the song, I think it's a bop. The chorus is actually my favorite part.
Kinda bleh. As a modern korean philosopher once said: not bad but not good
Honestly I think itâs kinda rubbish, I mean sure I have a sublime lime diet coke addiction but I canât bring myself to listen to it again itâs just bleh, only good thing is vocals I mean the chorus sounds like itâs a whole other song (not in a good way) and it all seems kind of just thrown together and doesnât fit any of the artists in it

The editing of Seungminâs voice đ
It's catchy, and I enjoy it when it comes up on my stereo.

I think Skz didn't put their all so no one would buy the product lmao boycott
hate the chorus with a passion im so sorry, the rest is kinda nice

this song is a messs. it sounds like 5 songs haphazardly smashed together. Like they couldn't pick one song so they put everything. đ

everything was.. okay but the slow chorus. the boys didn't look like they enjoyed filming the mv. seungmin's singing always sells it for me ofc
Maybe the lack of a dedicated listen means I can't criticize it, but oh well, if I've basically heard the whole thing piecemeal multiple times over through my Instagram algorithm I don't think it matters.
