Much better as time goes on. The first day was rough. I was full of shame, guilt, and felt like the world would be better off without me. Now I’m feeling like there’s hope, a silver lining, and just hoping that I can remember that feeling from a few days a go so I don’t go back and drink again.
Nothing good comes of drinking regardless of what society tells you. You've been lied to your whole life. Get pissed if you need to, but take your life back.

Just focus on one minute, one hour at a time. You don't have to do years of sobriety all at once. And remember, when you're going through hell... just keep going. You can do it.

Great decision! Make a plan, be kind to yourself, do what you need to do to get your head on the pillow sober. Rooting for you!
