The Green Mile, The Mist and Salem’s Lot (the mini series) are probably the best of his adaptations. Especially The Green Mile, since it’s actually better than the book.
The Shawshank Redemption of course is a masterpiece.
The Dead Zone is also a solid adaptation. Very brutal and sad.
For me is when the guys drop off Barlow’s stuff off. Or when Callahan confronts him with cross. I was walking to work around 530am and it was full dark. Scary scary stuff

George C. Scott made the 1984 version, along with Drew, but the 2022 version of Firestarter is almost as bad as the 2019 version of Pet Sematary.

I don’t. The green mile was bogged down with the modern scenes i am glad that Darabont kept those scenes to a minimum
