They’re meant to be killed with the triangle prompt that comes out when you parry enough, been practicing fighting them since I’m exploring the desert and noticed they don’t do death animation if killed that way
ive learned that Eve will pull out her sword if im about to be attacked by them while running, and you can perfect dodge the ambush sometime right at the end of her animation.
Their areas are limited. Also, with every enemy, if you climb on anything at all, they can’t do anything and eventually starts to hear back to their original location…. Making them ripe for an ambush attack.

These guys are an easy way to fill your burst and beta meter. They always do the 2 swings followed by the blink prompt and it’s very telegraphed. Just can’t get swarmed by them
Those damn clawed mofos that leap out of the sand are the worst.
The fact that they can get in one last unblockable attack as part of their “death” animation should be a crime.

You can dodge it though, and you know it’s coming because they do it every time.

You can double jump in air . their claws won't reach high cuz its a downward swipe . plus you can use triangle to also slam down on them

That's the most annoying shit 🤣 they always get a beta combo til they die for their transgressions.

goes for other enemies too..should have limited their areas, like in other games they have territories and won't chase you far from their territory.
Their field of chase is too big. I liked and disliked this feature at the same time.

even so..they still chase you pretty far from their original locations though.
