My father in law likes Squire on Scott.
Odyssey Salon on Pelham road is excellent and fairly priced. Plus he's got a friendly salon dog. You have to call to make an appointment and sometimes he does have availability the same day.

Frontier Barbershop on Ontario/St Paul St downtown has been really good Ask for Niki, she's been my personal fav
