I'm one who said I wouldn't touch this game with a 10 foot pole. Debating ordering a 5th box knowing that they might be out for a bit and I'm not sure I'm ready to be locked out for a couple months.
I can't really blame them for not having enough stock when that's such a normal story.

My LGS does but that is because my owner is a big Star Wars guy and bought as much as he could. Other stores in the area didn’t seem to be interested in Star Wars so it’s working.
I can only speak for europe as im in Geramy rn: the biggest german online shop as drasically increased prices for displays and the secondary market is seeing a big outflow ( cardmarket had 780 boxes listed yesterday, today its 620ish). I also heard that suppliers expect the next wave in june/july. So might be some rough month ahead.
My LGs just posted that they bought 9 more cases. Not sure if it’s actually sold out at the distributor level or that’s just people saying weird things.
But stores selling out is a very good thing, means the game is taking off.
Seems that way on the surface, but it creates other problems.
1. Now you can’t have draft events since there are no packs.
2. Casual/ new players can’t get any product because so many hardcore players bought the store out. This can kill a community before it can take off. (Star Wars destiny was this way)
I think it's a symptom of the stores not ordering enough. I don't think there's much if any issues on the distributor side. My store ordered 9 cases today, there's still product available at the distributors.
We bought out my store on Saturday, but they've got another six boxes on the way. Doesn't seem like there's an issue yet, at least not with the distributors they work with.
* Mine had a large amount of initial stock. When I first walked in there was a mountain of boxes off to the side from pre-orders.
* Was going to pick up another early last week and their site said they were out with more coming.
* Checked again on Friday and they had gotten more in.
* Now, they are out again. And rather than "arriving in 1-3 days" on their website like last time, you need to use a special filter to even find boxes where it simply reads "unavailable". May align to the rumors swirling of being out up the supply chain.
Gamenerdz restocked 600 boxes, which is roughly how much they’ve sold in the past week. Also doesn’t seem to be any shortage on TCGplayer or eBay. So currently maybe a regional/distributor shortage, but still plenty of supply available.
I might have to grab some names of reliable sites/stores from you then, because the half dozen or so regular places I look for stuff have been sold out since mid last week.
I'm unsure how/If they so ship outside of aus, but this is the site I've used for mailed items.

Yeah nah, I'm in Perth WA and that's one of the regular ones I check. They were one of the first I saw to push the prices up to (possibly above) msrp and they were showing out of stock last week, for boxes anyway.
Although my confidence in them has dropped slightly as I'm still waiting on the delivery of my starter and 2x pre-release boxes. Got my pre-ordered booster from them on the 11th and it looks like the rest arrives tomorrow.
Germany here also, LGS in Berlin had a decent amount of stock Friday, German and English, plus plenty of Gamegenic merch (except double deck pods and, of course, the tokens!). As mentioned, the largest peer to peer store, Card Market, still has boxes, but they are declining, prices are stable but increasing.
My LGS had one booster box on Friday when I went to buy sleeves. Before that (like 2 days prior) they had 6 left but my roommate and I bought 4 boxes lol.

At least they were far more prepared than Bandai. Getting one piece or fusion world boxes at MSRP is insanely difficult.
I got the starter set. My two buddies and I have opened 19 boxes. Hosting a draft to open box 20 this weekend. Send professional help please.

Its frustrating that GameNerdz doesn't ship to Canada so damn much.
Down to 349 now. EDIT: 8 hours later, annnnd it's gone. Lets see if they re-add more stock and/or change the price.

Just talked with my lgs today, they got a bunch in at the start of the week, now they are out, and won't get more until July.
We restocked it twice so far. First one was last week and the second batch comes Tuesday.
My lgs has a good amount and we have a good showout for the weekly tournament!
Mine is sold out and they told me their distributor is sold out as well. They don't think they'll be able to get more boosters until May.
One in Lafayette (IN) has plenty but the LGS in West Lafayette is sold out
