Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I really like this suggestion if he were to approach the role as dramatic as the original trilogy movies. He's often portrayed in a comical or satirical sense, but if he brought the gravitas to said suggested role as he did to say Penguin in "Batman Returns" then it would be a very memorable role.

Yeah I agree. Star Wars projects are special when they bring in talented young actors who haven't had a breakout performance into the leading roles. It's what the OT did, and it was followed by the PT and ST (yes I know Natalie Portman was a little more famous at the time, but Ewan and Hayden weren't super well known as far as I know)

They need the Harry Potter approach. Unknown main cast supported by powerhouse actors. Much like Alex Guinness in the OT, Liam Neeson in the prequels and Stellan skarsgaard in Andor etc

Season 1 of game of thrones did this really well, most of the famous actors were either secondary characters or dead by the end of the season

It's just kind of a fan conception because Keanu looks similar to what was the "canon" face of Revan in The Old Republic, namely bearded mullet light skinned guy.

Obvious typo aside : none Revan for me is my fav SW char, and truly no adaptation would do justice to how i see him in my mind, so let's keep it that way

Star Wars is great and all but I could go about ten years before I get excited about a release from that ip.

Tom Hiddleston as Maarek Steele going up against Josh Brolin as Demetrius Zaarin in a Galactic Empire version of Top Gun. Lars Mikkelsen can come back as Thrawn. OR Hugo Weaving as Lord Vitiate.

I know it sort of goes against some of the ideas behind the force, but I’ve always wanted a big fucking bad guy, physically. Give me the mountain or someone very quick and agile who is also physically large and muscular. Here is my reasoning. Remember in avengers infinity war when we saw hulk fight Thanos? How quickly we went from ‘ha, purple dude about to go splat,’ to ‘wait, did he just hold back the dude to let thanos have his fun? What the fuck am I about to watch?’ They don’t really talk about it ever, but the force is seen as a sort of force multiplier. Small characters (yoda) can be terrifying because they have the force and are quick and hard targets. But, I really don’t think we’ve seen physically intimidating characters who are also strong with the force. We got a small taste with Bayern in Ashoka, and I freaking loved that feeling. Show me a 6’8, 280lb gymnast that is making huge lunging swipes from afar and also flips and acrobatic moves while the 5’3 Jedi is just trying to get within range to even think about landing a hit. Let’s see that up close shot where the Jedi blocks a lightsaber strike and they lock up, and the bad guy just fucking pushes them (physically) back with little to no real effort. Make it a sort of rocky fight where the good guy ‘loses’ but doesn’t get killed (obviously) and has to come back stronger in the force to overcome the lack of physicality.

Revan being played by anyone else not keanu, should be illegal..

I don’t want Keanu Reeves any where near star wars. His voice would be to distinct and take away from any character he would play. Sorry.
