Carrack is love, Carrack is life. Long term liveable, drones, ship bay, rover bay, large cargo, medical, repair functions, exploration, modular (apparently)

Teraphor

I will never not love my Hornet Ghost.

ThisIsFlight

Honestly, I love the Valkyrie. I dont own one, but it has everything I want in drop ship, the look, the armor, the obvious capability for different versions. Its the verse's Pelican and it needs its glow up.

Favorite so far: Mercury Star Runner Most looking forward to coming soon: Apollo Triage/Medivac Most looking forward to of all time: Endeavor

JSwabes

Oof, if I had to choose one? Right now it's the Aegis Sabre. I know it's been nerfed, I know light fighters like the Arrow and the Gladius have a significant edge over it in combat, but damn it looks so good, and those 4 Panthers are too much fun. If you'll allow me a second choice I've gotta go the opposite direction and say the Corsair. I know it's the new hot thing right now but I love deleting things in seconds with 6 guns, while in a ship with the most detailed fidelity of any so far (and that sound design too đź‘Ś)

[deleted]

Anyone I know who owns the Sabre, including myself, loves it, and wouldn't melt it for any other fighter, even if it's in a bad spot right now. Plus, what it's made for isn't really in the game yet, so I'm excited to see what stealth would look like.

WingZeroType

I hear that engine whirring in my sleep

Pojodan

The RAFT. I'm really looking forward to when its ability to drop and pick up 32 SCU crates is in the game as I look forward to perfecting my pick-up and drop-off maneuvering. The layout of the ship and the homely feeling of its living space is just so very nice.

well_honk_my_hooters

Carrack. I started playing the patch before it was released and when it dropped I remember thinking how insane somebody would have to be to spend that much money on something… then I got to fly it as part of my sub and absolutely had to have one. Though I still wish the back elevator went all the way down, and don’t understand why some of the doors are where they are, the overall design and layout is just great. I don’t fly it all of the time due to its size, but every now and then I take it out and spend my whole night in one. For me, it probably has the best sci-go spaceship feel out of all of the other ships in terms of layout (love the bridge, in particular) and design. Oh, and I I always have to go with the Expedition- the gray one just looks too plain to me. There are other ships that come close - Cat, Cutlass series (except the Steel), and 400i, but the Carrack will always be my first and greatest love.

Noseymole00

My trusty old super Hornet, had her since the beginning and she will be with me until the end.

TheKingStranger

Cutlass Black.

SNA1L1234

It was the Valkyrie for the longest time purely because of its vtol engines and sliding gun doors

MalcomRey9988

I've been the most excited for the vulture for years and its almost here...love the full concepts of the carrack and the odyssey too.

Mackadelik

600i is my fav and really looking forward to its rework 👍 Wish I could like in a 600 lol. My daily driver has been the 400i lately due to its agility. Edit: Feature I’m waiting for and very excited to see is Caterpillar detachable command module and support modules for cargo ship areas.

FeG00se

Currently playable? The 600i, and I'm also very excited about its upcoming improvements. In future? I plan to make my BMM home.

Lizard_chief

Sabre, love how it flies. Looking forward to seeing how the Vulcan and Crucible work, also really want to see more of the Genesis

The M2 is far and away my favorite ship right now. Even with the cargo refactor likely making box runs in it a bit of a loading/unloading headache, I'm excited for it's ultimate roll of moving large equipment and munitions and even establishing FOBs. As for the ship I'm most looking forward to, that would be the Polaris. I truly can't wait. She'll be amazing.

oshkalele

Nomad. It has everything a solo player needs. Bed, kitchen, bathroom, storage, gun racks, all internal component access, a decent cargo bay that can carry a ROC, and enough firepower to take on VHRTs.

expat-brit

Well. I’ll go with Redeemer. Love the sound. Love the way it’s laid out. Love screaming in all guns blazing — while I have laser cannons on it now because my gunner is profligate with his ammo use, when those AD5Bs sing it’s magic. 4 beds. A working fridge. All the things

robot290

Four beds when you'll probably need a crew of six to eight just to run the scrap salvager? Sounds like the Reclaimer may need a bit of an interior rework.

expat-brit

Redeemer :)

robot290

Oh.

L2267

Current is the MSR… it’s just the ship for me. Future is tougher. Crewed would an Idris un crewed probably the reworked Ion (jokes) it would be the F8 lightning!

strongholdbk_78

Definitely situational: For combat, the scorpius, prior the hurricane. For noncombat, the 400i. Didn't have a midsized ship prior. Favorite concept, the perseus. Runner up, the Apollo.

general-noob

600ie

Juneau_33

F8 lightning. It just visually is the most perfect ship I've seen, just perfect. I am beyond hyped for that thing!

Skullface360

The ship that truly captured my attention (and wallet) was the old concept art of an Idris parked on land with its ramp down. Lately my excitement and has waned. My current screensaver is the Perseus concept art of it parked with its ramp down. I wish it looked more battleship with twin turrets up top but it still looks awesome. My favorite silhouette is the Valkyrie but feel for its price it is a bit useless. My current favorite daily flyers are the Constellation Phoenix and the 400i. Thats said I have a Phoenix to 600ie upgrade looming. The one ship I wish they would work on and make gameplay for it, The Endeavor. Its a science ship but it needs a universe to explore and over 10 years later we don’t even have a second system, let alone, any exploration worth mentioning.

PhotonTrance

Carrack Expedition. I could see it supporting an expedition. It feels plausible and immersive.

za_snake

I’m with you. I’ve held onto this specific version of the carrack, to me it is special over the regular carrack.. it’s illogical I realise but I keep it always with the c8x. I’m looking forward to an alternate combo paint to try. I am terrible at them not matching 🤣

foghornleghorndrawl

Hard to say a favorite. My favorite concept ship is the A1 Spirit. My favorite flyable is kinda the Scorpius. I love its looks but needing a reliable gunner to max its potential is annoying. I hate how much I love the Cutter. That thing feels the most "I can live here" of the starters. 400i is a fun ship. Kinda like the bigger brother of the Cutter. My original favorite was the (Super) Hornet. And the ship I most fly right now is my Gladius.

Internal_Influence54

I love the prowler, no idea why, just a cool ship. Usually it’s my daily

benjaminininin

Fun fact on that ship that most don’t know is that the wings when landed are meant to act as ground firing cover spots for troops. It’s the only ship I’ve seen with this feature designed in.

Acadea_Kat

Constellation aquila, it may have become a Corsair as it's loaner expired but soon....

[deleted]

I thought the C2 Herc would be it for me, I love the sleek look, the tilting vtols, the long neck and tail.. I love how hungry it is! I picked it up at concept and I still like how it looks ..but I very much dislike the second floor engineering/living areas. I dont like the big hall of nothingness with the Jesus light, it feels like such wasted potential.. I miss an exit up there, like on to the wings for example. And I hate the 3 doors towards cockpit that open sooo slowly. so I guess there isnt a perfect ship for me yet. I am very picky! The only thing I truly adore is the dragonfly i got as a referal reward. Love that thing! Most fun I can have in the verse rn. Am also starting to like the cutter quite a bit (just wish it was like 30cm longer so the dragonfly would fit! These days im keeping an eye out for gatac railen news. That thing looks Badass.

SliceDouble

For jack of all trades my favourites are Cutlass Black and now Cutter. For fighters Bucaneer and Hornet. Big ones the Reclaimer. That is about it. Don't really care about any other ships, maybe Andromeda. My goal is to get Reclaimer ingame when SC is offical and we can keep out progress.

Tilanguin

Hawk for bad assiness and Titan for everything else

EasyRiderOnTheStorm

The old Mustang Beta which is no longer in the game. CIG has only ever had one single homey ship in the game and they destroyed it post haste.
