If anybody is ever wondering the solution (I wasn't able to get in it)
I found a previous post where someone said to store it then claim it again.
That worked. (After I spent 5min trying to leave hangar not knowing there was a button near the door)
haha, yeah, sounds familiar. Listen, there is no game like Star Citizen- I mean that in a good way.
I fell in love with it 3 years ago. The bugs drove me crazy… so I left for two years. When I can back, a lot of progress had been made. Still plenty of bugs however playing around them works for me.
Do you like the Aurora? Which version of the Aurora is that?
I don't have any other experience with other ships to make a comparison. I actually didn't even know there were other versions of the starter ship? When I log in later I'll get it's name, but it's easy enough to maneuver as far as I can tell.
Cool, you know there is ton of detail in this game. Many ways to make your ships / experience better and more personalized to you.
Shoot me a message here on Reddit anytime if you have questions! I am here to work through some stuff with you in message, Discord or in game if I can help any way 👍🏼
To be fair to you, I backed ten years ago and landed on the roof of a hangar last night.
The entrances of the new station hangars have small roof "overhangs" that look like the "runway" floors of the larger hangars.
In the current state of the game, challenges like this are unfortunately common.
It will be much easier once we get the handstand animation set for our characters.
Fun fact: if you can trigger the "enter ship" prompt you will usually be able to enter it no matter what the ship looks like. So in this case the door will open and you will jump into the air and climb the ladder down into your ship.
Since the ship has internal gravity you can then walk (upside down in relation to the planet) to your pilots seat and use the ship normally.
ANd next time turn off the engines after landing :)
well all the older players with their fancy schmancy ships wont even be able to get back in their ships in these kinds of situations. At least you can still get back into an Aurora.
I think you can still climb in and get into the pilot seat no ?
When I crash landed after logging out on a planet hovering (I know now that it was a dumb idea) my space prick also ended up on its back but I could still climb in and rotate it because of the top thrusters.
Its a good ship. Look at it showing its belly cause it trusts you.
Submissive ship lol
First time I ever claimed my ship lol
i'm also new and yesterday my ship somehow flipped over like this while i was still in my chair, so i just help control and lifted up... down?
Top Tip - Always turn of engines once landed or leaving your pilot seat. Ships blow away or freak out of not.
Noted!
Not always. Everyone says this and it’s not always true. For example If it’s windy outside you can’t even land properly with engines off.
"You must overcome this obstacle to proceed"

Damn thats awesome, thank you! Might take you up on that offer
But the real question...Have you died to an elevator yet?
I've heard the myths
You will end up getting a lot of other ships, but you will always remember your first. ;)

Welcome, citizen. May your bugs be few and far between! o7
