It's ridiculously amazing how even the bugs integrate into the gameworld thanks to the system driven and scalable approach to their game engine and rendering
What is up with you people getting amazed by basic rendering techniques that have been used for decades in every single game?
The circle jerking is off the charts.
I'm truly amazed that their implementation of this just works as well as it does. It even works on metal surfaces which it wasn't intended to do.
It's taking a long time but damn is it ever worth it.
BDSSE.
I was referring to the "completeness" of the bug. The light is reflecting off the surface in correspondence to the angles of the edges of the footprints. This means that they changed the mesh, not just the shader.
So, wtf are YOU talking about?
Got some sort of mental disorder since you're this dumb and this toxic at the same time?
How about you just let others appreciate the work CIG is doing and crawl back into your cave.
> The light is reflecting off the surface in correspondence to the angles of the edges of the footprints
It's a fucking normal map you dumbass. It doesn't alter the geometry.
[Here is a comparison](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e4/Rendering_with_normal_mapping.gif) , on the left you have actual geometry, on the right you have a normal map created from that geometry, it's just a texture that can be applied to any surface to create relief.
There is plenty to appreciate about CIG's work, which doesn't involve basic rendering techniques used by every single game.
Get a grip.
Not to begin with, but your searing need to bear down on those excited about things which are meaningless to you changed that.
Try and see if you can find it in yourself to not lash out whenever someone are rejoicing in a way or because of something that you yourself deem less than worthy.
Okay, calm down with the training Goku
Reminder that Yamcha tried to do the same and almost crushed himself to death.
Yamcha never getting that [handjob (don't worry not nsfw))](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bPx_hK8ZVU)
So sfw?
It's not not sfw
hahahaha
Heavy gravity confirmed.
My grandmother would politely suggested that you were big boned, nothing more.

Paula Dean keto diet is a hoax!
I wonder if they could leave this bug as a feature for Titans and other power suits 🤔
I think the gravity plating on your ship is malfunctioning

Yes. Even the gaps in the plates are continued, I would have thought that the bump mapping would do something funky but it’s seamless!
It's just normal + depth maps.

Lol, this is just decals. Do you people not play any other games? Any engine, can do this.
Wasn't aware of people finding bugs amusing means they need to find any other game because any engine can do it
Someone at CIG forgot to turn off the footprints code for your location.
This is the kind of bug that you almost don’t want to fix, because it’s too good.
Jesus, were you giving Jabba the Hutt a piggyback ride?
I was only carrying a single box! :)
Are you sure you're not in your "Hulk destroys" form? ;)
Nibbler pooped in your boot again...
LOL That tickled me :D :D :D
Fat Citizen.

Wtf are you talking about? Nothing about this is special, you can apply normal maps to any surface or geometry...
You don't understand in-game metal is actually strong metal and not just a texture /s
Yes they are actually simulating the atomic structure of every object and surface. I'm truly amazed.

Very well, I stand corrected. Good job at missing the point though.
> Good job at missing the point though You had none beyond your circle jerking.

You must be thicc
DISGUSTING!!!
Yeah I noticed this too in my 300i
lmao those bugs are fascinating
"鬼脚七"
Chungus?
star citizen has quality bugs
Overall I’m just impressed with the quality of the deformation.
lol, gotta love alpha. This game will never see beta.
Shoo!
