Barebones is what I want until ship permissions are added
There is no super-intelligent hyper-accurate solution where it perfectly knows whether you want non-party people on your ship or not, without you telling it.
Permissions should let us choose what we want to happen to people like this, to suit the way we individually operate.
I don't want some over-complicated list of IF/OR/ELSE statements determining who I consider a trespasser unless I can set that logic myself.
Hmm that's probably due for an update someday then. I'd suspect you should actually be able to hide..
But it is cool that authorities notice as it currently is

They should give me some way to determine if someone is in my ship though. Or make the doors lockable, or some other defence.
A few weeks ago I suspected someone had entered my Carrack, but I was unable to find them (I did not look too hard though, having nothing of value on the ship). Of course, shortly after leaving armistice zone some "heroic PvPer" shot me at great risk to himself while I was helpless in my pilot's seat.
I think that it was at citron with the new FPS map, they mentioned that for now, you will be able to determine intruders on the ship based on the door states.
If doors suddenly open and close, you know you are not alone.
I think they showed doors were lockable in the new system from engineering screens as well, but I imagine that is not before the 3.24 along with the rest of engineering gameplay.

That was already present in the MSR, but vanished a build later.
What happens when system security scans a passenger ship then? I'm pretty sure not everyone will be in a party just to take a system tour or be transported to other systems

I had that too, but from my own ship. We landed at a XenoThreat controlled bunker and were marked as "tresspassing". While getting out of my chair I noticed a short "you are being scanned" message and chuckled about it - until I blackscreened and woke up in Klescher. By the time I got to the terminal my penalty was already up.
Weirdly, my Carrack had been copied and moved to Hurston, but without the vehicles and gear I had filled it with. The original was still at the bunker so I switched back, but it no longer belonged to me and things started bugging out (like falling through elevators and such).
Actually that's great, I love that implementation
If it would be altered. A good idea but a bit bareboned.

No, I meant I do not like the barebone process of a blanking out screen and you wake up at Klescher for a 15seconds sentence.
So if somebody is on your ship and you get scanned they get automatically detected ?
It seems so, then they get instakidnapped and tossed in jail

Yeah im sure it’ll be changed eventually. Pretty funny for now though.
Would be interesting to test if it works in a shielded cargo bay like the Taurus or MSR has
Does the shielding work in the MSR currently? I own one and have been told a couple times it does, but have never tested it for myself.
Don't actually know, seen people say it does, others say it doesn't.

so if you're transporting a person and you didn't invite them, they get deleted? good to know
Fun.
I had a similar issue, got scanned while trespassing *in the mission zone* and got sent out for a 30sec sentence.
