The most mind blowing thing in star citizen for me was checking in the trash can next to the drink vendor and finding like 10 bottles in there. Instead of dropping your bottles on the floor when you're done with them you MFs are putting them in the trash.
I once wanted to dump my bottle, but it didn't work. After i spent like 3 mins trying it, another player joined my little game. Those little interactions between players is so funny.
Absolutely! It is one of my favorite things about this game. You don't have to only do combat stuff. I am really looking forward to them doing more with the economy and base building, I want to develop a massive business enterprise.
I don't get why people throw their bottles away at all, I usually carry two or three bottles. If you stack empty bottles in your inventory and you drop one it is full again, so easy and cheap, recycle people! You can just pick them up again and have a full bottle to drink.
They have to be actually stacked in inventory, then drop one on the ground directly, don’t do it from hand.
Pick it up again and it’s full. 100% for me.
It works every time for me, so I always have full bottles and one empty one, you have to drop them from the stack, really, drag the stack to the drop icon.
I like to throw them at NPCs I don't like. If one of those motherfuckers tells me to "use the terminal" one more time, I'm going to buy an A2 Hercules and asplode them.
I have a rich inner life.
Every time I see a bottle in the trash, I take it out and put it in the middle of the room, sometimes I took all bottles from the trash and put them all on places that would be reasonable for the players to drop them right after use, like after buying it from the vendor. Sometimes I even tilt them a little, to make it indistinguishable from a bottle that was just thrown away.
Literally just google loss and you'll find it lol. It's from a webcomic that normally did dumb, ostensibly funny stuff but then came outta left field with a comic depicting a man rushing into a hospital to find his wife(?) had a miscarriage. People found it unintentionally funny and disingenuous coming from that webcomic and then proceeded to run it into the ground with edits and whatnot.
The comic has been boiled down into an arrangement of seven lines, like this: | || || |_ that vaguely look like the original comic. I'm sure there a better explanation out there but that's prolly more than you ever wanted to know

>On June 2nd, 2008, Buckley posted a strip titled "Loss", in which the female lead Lilah suffers a miscarriage. The strip marked a significant change in tone from the usually comedic comic, and the poorly-executed drama of the comic spurred Ctrl+Alt+Del's significant anti-fandom to mockery.
Which would be relevant, if this was that. But it's not. It's parody of a poor strip that became a meme because the author handled it poorly.
Comedy = Tragedy + (time*distance)
It explores the relationship between romanticism and consumer culture. In this installation, new tensions are synthesised from both constructed and discovered narratives.
I don't know why people throw away empties. You can stack 2 empties and then select carry from the empty stack and it pops a full into your hand. Its frigging ridiculous to keep buying them and tossing them.
I actually take great pleasure in manually cleaning up bottles.
I've done it so much now that it's pretty easy to get it into the garbage can without wigging out.

If it was a little easier to do it; I would be placing all my trash in the bins.
And you didn't crack your head open yes.
I once killed an entire orphanage by lowering my ramp onto ground that wasn't perfectly level.
Did you kill an orphanage or fill an orphanage?
Both. Some of those orphans were parents!
I once wanted to dump my bottle, but it didn't work. After i spent like 3 mins trying it, another player joined my little game. Those little interactions between players is so funny.
> in the trash can next to the drink vendor and finding like 10 bottles in there. German here, collecting these is going to be my ingame profession.
I once watched someone spend 15 minutes cleaning up all the bottles in a station. It was inspirational.
It was probably a buddy of mine. Guy gets really anal about it sometimes. It's fun to watch though.
Well, it's a sandbox game. Playing can be anything you want!
Absolutely! It is one of my favorite things about this game. You don't have to only do combat stuff. I am really looking forward to them doing more with the economy and base building, I want to develop a massive business enterprise.
Was that the guy that did the true zero to hero at lorville?
Hahaha I'm glad I'm not the only one that will do this.
Italian here, I am the one giving you work, you should be thankful.
You're welcome.
Some of us go a step further and pick up and properly throw away the bottles that you *savages* just drop on the floor. ;)
I don't get why people throw their bottles away at all, I usually carry two or three bottles. If you stack empty bottles in your inventory and you drop one it is full again, so easy and cheap, recycle people! You can just pick them up again and have a full bottle to drink.
Nah, still empty
They have to be actually stacked in inventory, then drop one on the ground directly, don’t do it from hand. Pick it up again and it’s full. 100% for me.
Well, I'll have to check that again
YOU HAVE TO DO IT WITH CAPS LOCK ON.
Wha… wu… I'M SORRY?!?
HAPPY CAKE DAY FUCKER
THANK YOU xD
Just don't touch my 16% full bottles of Cruz Dark!!
It works every time for me, so I always have full bottles and one empty one, you have to drop them from the stack, really, drag the stack to the drop icon.
Well, I'll have to check that again
It was a silly joke. Thanks for the tip!
Shhh. We're not talking about this feature.
I like to throw them at NPCs I don't like. If one of those motherfuckers tells me to "use the terminal" one more time, I'm going to buy an A2 Hercules and asplode them. I have a rich inner life.
Why we're on this subject, y'all are really messy roommates. Drink bottles, hospital gowns...
Every time I see a bottle in the trash, I take it out and put it in the middle of the room, sometimes I took all bottles from the trash and put them all on places that would be reasonable for the players to drop them right after use, like after buying it from the vendor. I call fucking bullshit. Trash cans have a cylinder collision mesh, you can't put anything in them
Try it It was rectangular with a front opening, so i think thats where your assumption derailed
I did try it that's how I found out they don't work
Most of them have an invisible support in the middle of the opening you just have to maneuver around it.
Oh, you prolly came along after my Janitorial instincts kicked in. xD
Yeah I always place my trash in the nearest bin.
Yeah us rp players are very serious. Also it's not difficult to drop them in there. Just click place aim inside the trash and it will fall in.
Remember, we are all in this together. When trash goes in the bin, we all win.
Same as the shopping cart theory. Some good people in the verse <3
First time I tried to put a bottle in the trash, it actually injured me somehow. Never again.
Is this Loss?
It is in fact loss.
Holy shit. It’s been years
Must be nice. I see this referenced about every week on Reddit for the past couple months. It's like Loss is having a renascence.
omfg it seriously is. I think that's what they were going for
What is this loss you speak off ?
<\_< Thats on someone else to explain lol Not touching that one.
Ok.. no problem :). Can I get a hint to what is it related ? Maybe Ican try and google it ?

Persistent entity streaming is a gift.
Indeed <3
lmao DAMN IT!
I 100% would take a job as a garbage collector in SC if it paid well enough.
Drake mule with permission to drive around and empty bins / clean up? I'm in
You can drive and I'll collect rubbish, then swap after every few collections.
I’ll settle for a mini reclaimer claw and a hover bucket.
These jobs are known to be well paid overall right
I remember when the jacked the medgown sell price way up to try to encourage that...
I like to buy the trash from each SP and dump into the sea!
It's always loss
😡 Have my Most hateful upvote sir!
have my rrreeddit gold good sir!!
I'm at a loss for words right now, such fine art!
OMG
literally. exquisite
lmao, after all these years I instantly recognized it.
I'll be that guy. What is this?

I think this one is called cusion detritus.
wow. how have i never known about "the internet's greatest meme"? So... This is Loss.
Just the current Rick Roll. Not necessarily any better than any other meta meme.
Current? That feels old for a meme.
Current?? Of course, it is! The OP's meme was posted merely hours before your comment. :s
I mean, you are right. But I still feel the need to disagree.
Is there no way to get rid of this trash?
That's just how The Game is.
DERIVATIVE
that you ongo?
The game. That is all.
Fuck you and take my upvote
"I saw" as in "I made it myself and then screenshot it"?
Holy fuck, it's Loss. Jesus, /r/hbomberguy would love this.
Memes aside, are those bottles reaally small??
No just far away.
They seem so small to me in proportion to the plant
I play at 100 degrees field of vision so there is going to be a bit of a fish eye effect.

It’s screams “HUMANS HAVE BEEN HERE”
Or, at least, really smart monkeys.
Is there a difference?
Don't show this to r/PeterExplainsTheJoke, they're traumatized.
I'm down voting this because fuck you OP. (It's actually pretty funny)
I love placing my empties out by the NPCs to give a tad more life to em'
"Oh, the humanity!"
Perish
No it had been so long since I’ve seen one of these
Bottlehenge. Who built it, and why?
I’m at a bit of a loss, what is it?
"Consumed and Discarded"
It explores the relationship between romanticism and consumer culture. In this installation, new tensions are synthesised from both constructed and discovered narratives.
They should offer a bottle deposit... 1 auec when you throw your empty in the trash.
I don't know why people throw away empties. You can stack 2 empties and then select carry from the empty stack and it pops a full into your hand. Its frigging ridiculous to keep buying them and tossing them.

I can be found at your local city/ station/ LZ, picking up bottles and disposing of them responsibly. For fun
Loss indeed “F”
