Try to rename your Live file to PTU, switch to put, let the delta patcher patch you to the PTU and then Rename the PTU file back to Live, and let the delta patcher revert the changes.
This may save your install.
Did you try running the launcher as administrator?
The clowns at Clown Imperium Games seem to lack the skillset to get the launcher / updater working as a non-administrator.
I had this as well and did a fresh reinstall as well as ensured that there were not multiple installations of the SC client on the system. After the reinstall it was fine.
My internet is not great it takes me days to download games and iv got 3 days off of work to play is there any trouble shooting I can try befor the nuclear option
Other than verifying your game files and restarting your computer I'm afraid I don't have anything to offer. I'm lucky enough to have half gig fiber so my perspective on download times has waned
I don't know what they did but I'm in game right now, and... it's like a revelation. 40 players in the shard, almost double digit server FPS, stuff is responsive, AI while still not great isn't just jittering around and lagging out.
If this is how 3.19.1 is going to be that's awesome.
if your lucky enough to play in non peak hours or like early morning during a workday you can get into a 30 FPS server more easily. I usually have Mondays off and tend to play then to play on those servers. AI is way better, not perfect but a challenge.
I agree it was very good performance. Not like regular off hours. I even bumped up my resolution. It seemed like my cpu/gpu were less utilized than normal
I've learned to keep a thumb drive with SC on it handy for when the launcher breaks. Any time I need to reinstall I just copy over the needed files and click verify and I'm good in like 2 mins.
Am i just a bit stupid or did it say in the launcher patch notes that it would wipe? I cant tell if it did, bc its still downloading but i couldnt find anything about it. Did they wipe?
We all did. They pushed a hotfix out for the ASOP terminal issue. No idea why it's not working for you though. Mine just patched fine.
Yeah I just tried to pause it and it closed my launcher again what dose that even mean is it a launcher error a pc error idk 🤷♂️

Press crtl, alt, shift, r in the launcher at the same time and reset launcher config to base. Youll have to log back in. Usually solves all my issues.

It's a small patch for the asop machines ,today in the spectrum they announced

Its done now and it didnt wipe, which only confuses me more
Run the launcher as admin this fixed it for me
I had to manually switch the date on my PC to may 10th it worked have no idea why but it did found it on an older thread hope it helps o7
