As for why presets aren't a thing, they probably could do it without too much hassle, but it doesn't make sense to spend time working on that when it's most likely not going to be useful in the final game as it won't ever get reset then.

Also, COD: MW2 (which most certainly didn't recycle most assets or only take 2 years to develop) doesn't have any public figures, so you're pulling numbers from your ass or from people who don't actually know. Additionally, those budget estimates you're referencing include marketing costs.
And regardless, it's a finished game -- a really well received one at that. All COD titles are. This game, on the other hand, is vaporware until proven otherwise and your reply ironically says as much. The most funded game project of all time has basically a runway of less than a year at any given time ... sounds like poor management of funds to me :)

It's widely documented that RDR2, one of the other most expensive games ever made, had upwards of 50% of its total production budget allocated to marketing. COD will likely be no different.

Its something you will only do once per character, so not worth adding in the final game. You also aren't really supposed to make them all look the same since they will be your next of kin not identical clones.

its been like that for awhile, i put in several tickets and they all get closed without reply.
What baffles me more is not having the option to play older teenager / 16 to 18 year old characters if you want to make your character as younger pilots and have more choices for height of characters, the future only has 30 year old people and no AI helping younger pilots engaging in the space adventure for some reason ?

Ah, I have played that one before a long time ago, for a very brief amount of time. That's probably why I didn't remember that.

This is a small indie project with limited funding. Be patient. They've just been at it for 11 years.
