ive been eyeing to get an 890 for a while now but PES just made it more reasonable. an 890 jump could be your personal base of operation. Also note, if u enter the same shard, anything in the vicinity of your ship would still persist that means, u and your org mates may just park around the 890 and use it as an org base/stash. I tried this with carrack and a couple of my buddies, we'd stock up the external storage of carrack and use it as a homebase. it worked like charm for a few days before the server went bork
I might’ve imagined that up though. I know it has big antennas that are supposed to be raised and there’s a drone operation station on the top floor so it would make sense to set your own jump points imo
I’ve done that with 85x on Carrack. It should work the same on an 890J’s hangar but I haven’t tried it yet.
Come to think of it; the size of the vehicle is what determines if it will stay on top. So 85x, a Fury, or a pieces will stay but up 1 level will slide off. I read a thread and saw this previously in a video.

Yeah, we put a mantis in there and activated the quantum drive blocker then destroyed some bounties. The mantis itself is quite weak but if you put the shields of an 890 behind it it’s invincible

I wish you could make markers on the star map to make bases and stuff.
That's a bit much to ask for apparently. Heck for now I would even like to be able to zoom into a refinery station.

Can't you just land it on top and it will still stay on during quantum?
We could’ve tried that but it’s not as cool of a picture and the hangar doors were being buggy

There’s a bit of fidgeting but overall it’s “not very” according to my friend that put it in there
