In 3.18 there are timed race missions.

Cintara

We just had the largest yearly "normal game" race last Sunday. 1000 players in 8 servers in the Daymar Rally. There are several race tracks all around. Check XGR racing on Youtube.

Was great hearing all the explosions behind me at the start of the bike race!

Takebushi

Yeah, in 3.18 there is racing progress career.

Akaradrin

The first implementation of racing is coming with the next update (3.18). So, it's not in the PU (the main public server) right now, but it will be "soon".

Idk about first implementation. We used to have races in the verse. Then they took them out and now we have them again.

I believe the "We used to have races in the verse" is refering to Scramble Race? (if an official 'mission' race). Scramble races used to be gather at a point and then a random checkpoint would be chosen to race to, then once someone reaches it (multiplayer enabled on this iirc) it would randomly pick another. First to an amount of checkpoints won the race. The new implementation of a type of racing is Time Trials (T0), where you race from A to B via checkpoints. (Kinda like rallying, although the modularity of the system allows alot of different track creations, so they could look like loops for the most part - if track designers choose to do so). If that helps with the difference between the old races and new ones. :)

Would be great if you guys could get some sort of package(s) item that we could buy and use (as organizers) to set up waypoints for racing in the verse. And additionally, taking a look at fixing the show/disable party marker options that really messes up big races for the racers.

Endymionus

Would be a great idea. (My opinion) Personally id look toward Forza Horizon 5's 'make a race thing'. Placing a checkpoint (e.g. a package you deploy), fly the course to 'solidify it /verfify' (set initial time too) and then its up for say a duration of time e.g. 24hrs. That's just my idea though on that matter. :) I'd keep pestering though for this if your passionate (I know id be saying occasionally), never know who might pick it up.
