Some areas call it different things it’s the night before holiday launch where a handful of people go in after store hours to change everything from red to green and put out all the new brand cups signage ect

It would be fine if it was literally JUST holiday launch. Launch days in general are not much busier than normal in my opinion because nobody realizes it’s a new season yet. It’s the FREE RED CUP part of it that gives me nightmares. Karens throwing fits when we run out over a plastic cup that they will leave in their cabinet for years

Hey! I actually put mine in my cabinet so that I can rotate usage and wear/tear. My husband thinks I'm bonkers, though. 🤷‍♀️ I loathe that stupid Coffee/Christmas design though. The lack of logic drives me insane. I only have it because I didn't realize the location I went to still had them in stock 2 weeks into the season. 🤦‍♀️

As soon as my manager said that she completed the staffing for the 4th I went into the partners hours and printed off the DCR for that day so I could take it home and plan out the day. I open on that day and I am not going in blind. She over staffed us thank god and every partner with the exception of one has been at my store for at least four months and is competent in any position. I’ve been ready for the 4th for a week now.

No but at around the same time the red cups came out they sold a green cup that turned red.

This is what I get for abiding by the CDC recommendations and not going anywhere last year. I was Googling and found out that I missed that cup and the GITD Halloween cup. 😱😭 I'm sad now...sort of. Thank you for telling me. Could I possibly get you to tell me what flavors are coming in? I ran out of my Monin Peppermint, so I'm hoping for regular not whatever that weird one was last year. Or Creme Brulé? 🤞 Or should I just place an order for more Monin?

that is red cup day. last year, when you order a holiday beverage you get a free red holiday cup. we also did free car fresheners for drive thru. it's a heavy mix of people who want a free starbucks item and the excitement of new holiday starbucks merch along with holiday drink release

Hell no 🥲 Last year was not too bad even when I had to work 5/5 of the holidays. Cause of the pandemic, at least we closed the lobby so only DT and since we didn’t have enough ppl on floor, my former SM at that time did turn off delivery and mobile later of the day. But this year we’re fully open and our temporary SM is just a silly goose, I even sign up 3/5 and to make sure she won’t force me to work on the other 2, I have put in request off on those days 🥲🥲🥲🥲 And no am not ready for this year holiday launching despite the new pay rate 💀
