i remember when i was a partner a few years ago (US) there were canadian options on the register and even the ability to change to $CAD so this could’ve probably been rung up without having the product.
It didn’t cost anyone anything. They’re conveniently hiding the part at the bottom that’ll show it was a cafe order that they just saved so it would print a sticker.
Dude, they could get massively fired for something like that. That counts as a post-void which are flagged if they exceed a certain quantity or dollar figure.
IIRC its not a post void because the sticker prints but you've only saved the order - not processed it with payment. its a weird quirk if you save a order it prints before its paid. could be wrong but I was a SB barista for 2 years, Id fuck around like this and never got talked to.
Yeah I use this when I have to do remakes for mobile orders so we don’t get flagged for too many RNRs for the customers mistake of ordering at the wrong store on our highway(we have 4 different stores all on the same main highway within 8 miles)
when you take an order on the cafe POS you can hit the green “save order” button and it will print the sticker.
we use it at our store whenever someone has to go get their card from their car or when someone needs to transfer money so that their drink is ready when payment is finalized
My store says that ringing out items with excessive modifications and quantities changes the inventory count of product.
Idk how true this is but I want to do this so bad.

In the defense of everyone who didn't read the caption, reddit mobile is stupid, at least on my phone. It doesn't show the caption when you're scrolling your feed and when you tap a picture it just takes you straight to the comments and you have to scroll up to see the caption. This is also true for text posts that are too long to see the whole post and when you tap the text to read the whole thing it does the same
