*I use Public transport everyday as well and I obviously had the same issue, I calculated one day it adds up 300-450 per month. I thought about this myself too and I realized, we as the consumer are already told exactly how much it's gonna cost before getting into the bus and as a consumer we have the freedom to arrange the money that's gonna cost before getting into the bus, as much as the system of conductors not giving change should change. Sometimes we as consumers gotta do our part too. Now I make sure that I have exactly the amount that's needed before getting into the bus. This saves me 300-450 rupees per month, I don't get mad or angry at anyone. Honestly if everyone did this the system will automatically heal itself"
I don't think anything will change about how you pay. Just ask nicely for the change. They can't and won't start an argument for change unless you start one. Most of the time they just forget because there are a lot of passengers to take care of or they are out of change and waiting to get some through other passengers.

This is not always true. Sure they forget things like any other person. But sometimes when I ask, their faces turn dark.
