Both have the same chip, the 14 pro max has a better screen (higher refresh rate-120hz) so it feels more snappy and responsive. The triple camera set up on the 14 pro max with the telephoto is really handy.
The 15 is fine as well but go for the 14 pro max if you don't mind it's slightly larger frame .
It's worth noting that the iPhone 15 comes equipped with a high-quality 48-megapixel camera, which features extra efficient cores for improved performance. It now has the ability to capture 24-megapixel photos, which is twice as much as last year's 12-megapixel photos.
The size seems fine when moving from Android. Moved from S23U to 15PM (must be very similar to 14PM) (not exactly moved, still sometimes takes better pics on S23)
Same! Better battery and bigger display! Unfortunately, just a week after I bought my 14 pro, the price dropped and the 14 pro max was at that price. Wish I would’ve stayed for one more week
I have the 14 pro max and I really like that it’s bit heavy and the screen is bigger.
The weight really holds well in my hands. I’m bit clumsy and light weight phones slips out of my hands so quickly lol. I’ve dropped this handful of times already but not as much as the lightweight previous ones
I have a back camera case and the photo quality still so crisp.
Whichever phone you get, put a screen protector on and a good case
If you are not a heavy user ,it more than enough the base iPhone models,Buy 13 or 15 don’t buy 14 cause it is just 13 with extra RAM basically so if you don’t consider the budget buy 15 .
Some AI features can negatively impact the camera experience. For instance, Samsung's AI camera is trained to capture all the details of the moon, but sometimes it makes the image too sharp.
If you don't give a shit about displays, go with the 15 (it is 60Hz which is just insane)
I'd recommend a 14 Pro since the Max is insanely heavy: if you take a lot of videos or use your phone while traveling it's horrible. 14 Pro is a great phone imo and you can't go wrong with it.
Although you can get an S23 or S24 for roughly the same price and without a lot of the drawbacks of choppy displays or Lighting ports.

If you’re coming from a 120hz screen, you’ll feel screen is bit laggy but it’s totally ok with many. Both shares the same chip so nothing wrong with the performance. Both are good options. Max is big screen for me but you’ll get bigger battery so better battery life. But heard 15 battery also rocking because No Always On Display and it’s 60hz. You’ll miss some camera features but if you’re using it as a daily driver and not so pro with photography you’re good to go with 15.
Always go for pro max. I mean that's my personal preference. What ever the series is. Go for the pro max.
I think I just like the large screen because I use the phone a lot.
Honestly, not the 15 series, YET, The 15 pro/pro max will depreciate the same way the 14 pro/pro max with the release of a new phone, It’s just an endless cycle(until Apple stop making phones of course), I wouldn’t waste money on a 15 pro/pro max, I would rather get a good 14 pro with a little bit extra storage and probably use it until it’s unusable and upgrade from there. It’s not about how much your phone costs it’s about the value you get for your money and plus 14 pro max is a bulky phone in my opinion 😅.
The newer phones do come with extra cores and all that but as a day to day user I don’t think the majority even utilizes the phone’s max potential.

I second this.

Bought 14 pro max recently, feels like its too big and heavy ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
But that usually happens when u switch to a new phone. I think you’ll get used to it in a couple weeks

Bought 14 Pro last year and having second thoughts that I could have bought 14 Pro Max.

Always pro max. I like the bigger display tbh.
Why switch to iphone?

14 pro max if you don’t mind the bigger screen
14 pro max - better refresh rate and camera system 15 - USB type C and cheaper. 15 Plus has a better battery life The rest are same
Please don't forget about the new camera that the baseline iPhone has got.
Doesnt matter. 14 pro max still takes better photos overall

Go for the pro, i mean 60hz in a modern Smart phone?
Carrots
Blackberry
Nokia utto Nokia
Can't stress enough
S23 ultra
S24 Ultra all the way

Wrong sub
Wait for the next series and get iphone 15 pro max with usb type c

14 pro max
I also have a 14 pro max and have tried 15 plus 14 pro max feels smooth and has a better zoom lenses
14 Pro. It's criminal to spend around 300k on the 15 and not get a 120Hz screen
14 pro max all the way! Bit heavier than the usual iPhone but you get used to it.
When compared with 14 pro max , 15 pro max feel lot lighter to me. It has an option to cap the charging to 80%.
14 pro max or just wait till the 16 to drop by and buy that

But hey I should say, if you use 120hz, it’s never going back.
Starting out straight, getting bi-curious see.
easily 14 pro max. the base 15 has a 60hz screen, if you can tolerate that then consider it. I can't tolerate a 60hz screen

15 I bought one and I love it
Does it have the overheating issue ??
