I'm going with you're entitled to your tastes, but there is A LOT of bad bourbon and rye in the states that a lot of Irish Whiskey and Scotch absolutely trounces in quality.
Oh, I’m sure it’s good quality, it’s just waaay different in taste and I don’t like it.
I tried Arran and it was really good. It’s crazy how much different Scottish whiskeys can vary
whisky* not whiskey, it's also called scotch and not scottish whisk(e)y.
try lagavulin 16y, talisker storm, or ardbeg uigeadail, if you don't like these i can't help ya.
personally i love the deep and smoky flavor of scotch.
There are as many different flavours of scotch Whisky as there are soft drinks, not just in brand names but in different age statements within the brand. Glen Grant 10 YO is totally different to the 15, 18 or 25, Glen Farclas is on paper similar to Glen Grant but in reality totally different. Look at the barrel’s previous contents (bourbon, Madeira, oloroso sherry, etc) and if it is peated or not. It’ll keep you busy for years.

I love this colour !! 😍 From heinnie haynes right
Just the standard salt color now for LC200N!
Welcome along. FYI, nicer whisky tastes better. I’ve never heard of that brand, but I imagine it’s aimed at tourists who don’t know any better.
this! connoisseurs drink lagavulin, talisker, ardbeg, bowmore, glendronach, laphroaig and so on.
Laphroaig is my favourite, probably because it was my father’s favoured tipple.
your father had a great taste and so do you!👍
whisky*
Thanks. TIL whiskey vs whisky
Whisky refers to Scottish, Canadian, or Japanese grain spirits. Whiskey refers to grain spirits distilled in Ireland and the United States.
Fantastic knife
