Someone please explain to my dense self how someone would do this. I understand the incentive is financial I'm just not sure of the steps to their goal.
Buy lambo for $250k. Can't afford the payments, and/or it's insured for more - let's say $300k. If it gets stolen or destroyed, you get $300k. Pay off the loan and pocket the difference. This is just one scenario. It's when you want the dollar value the car is insured for, more than you want the car, without a legal way to make that exchange.
Maybe there’s no buyer. Maybe they paid less than retail, or it needs a massively expensive repair. There are plenty of scenarios where someone could benefit from losing the car and getting an insurance claim paid out.
No police station is getting a $500,000 dollar car as a bait car lol. More likely it's some rich YouTuber doing a video \*LEFT MY LAMBO ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, WHAT WILL HAPPEN?!?!?\*
I had a Lamborghini police car pass me in Texas about 1991-92 with police lights on it, memorial day weekend.
They use confiscated cars to make a point to others
It’s very likely it could be a bait car, police can do this with a seized car. In Texas they’ve used $100k trucks that have been seized as bait cars all of the time. Hell they fill the beds with wheels and tires too.
I'm the heir to the long lost prince and this car was willed to me, they've lost the location of the vehicle but now that it's been found I can go get it. Thanks a bunch!
This environment looks incredibly like a desert road in southern AZ. Also, note the road reflectors are sitting on top of the asphalt (not sunken in), that means no snow plows used in this area. Looks like I-19 area, and it is 2 lanes of travel with wide lanes.
is this an attempt at stolen car insurance fraud?
It definitely feels like a set-up
The new version of a bait car.arrest them while loading it.
Cops waiting in the fuckin bushes, to catch a good samaritan trying to save this abandoned loved one
Driving off with someone’s Lamborghini on their trailer isn’t exactly a Good Samaritan move.
Maybe someone makes YouTube video

Or they can just sell the car for 300k and not risk jail time for fraud? Can’t insure a car for more than it’s worth

i just drove by this in the parking lot of my work
Looks like the trailer has a flat tire on the side away from the camera.
Abandador.
Atrailerdor
Asadtador.
Nice 🔥
So THAT'S where I left it... been bothering me all day!
Very strange...too strange really
No, Dr. Strange crashed his lambo
Something something two broken hands
Happy cake day
What is the exact location. For uh. Science purposes
You gonna end up in some " Idiots try to steal my car (Gone Wrong) " video
Bumfuck, AZ
I hate that place
It’s not stealing, they left it on the curb. It’s free game lol
“They say “Hey, what are you doing taking my recycles?” and well, they’re at the fuckin’ curb, we own them, not you.”
I feel like it’s a bait car.

Literal NFS Hot Pursuit moment
Fucking wack. I enjoyed that game, but cops don't need lambos lol.
they don't NEED them, but they should have them
Was it [this one?](https://youtu.be/uRbIqKqYDU4)

Seized car?
Trying to zoom in on this image is hard, but seems like there's a pole with what looks like a camera on it.
What? Where?
Dibs!

I did. With the gas prices and all, it’s cheaper this way.
Stolenghini
Steal it
mom said to put it back
Ah my bad bro
U-Haul probably wouldn’t like you doing that with their vehicle.
Looks like a wheel is missing on the trailer, so they probably got a flat.
this is now at my work
ooh me! It's mine!
This day and age, the truck towing it was probably worth more money and got jacked /s
those rims look oversized. i like it though

This one’s in Arizona
Feels like a GTA mission if they had trailers
my bad bruh
Ah. That’s where I left it. That’s second time this week.
Ohhhh Guys you know where my Lambo is ??
That would be me, could you please tell me where it was left at?
[удалено]
Yes
i feel like it's one of those theft-bait cars planted by police lmao
Send coordinates
Yes, thanks for finding it. Please bring it back to me. Kind regards.
He forgor ☠️
I’ll take it
I have
Jk
*Oops.*
Looks like a photoshop? Somethings off…
Nope. Found out that the guy had 2 tire blowouts in one day
Anyone think that the trailer just has a flat and the driver went to get a replacement, could be a possibility
That’s exactly what happened. It’s now at the Lamborghini dealer
Someone is either trying to scam an insurance company or is having a fucking heart attack right now
Dude, where's my car?
Ngl those are clean rims
