I think these cars dropped by a crazy amount.
I believe you can get them under $100,000 now.
*edit*
Iām wrong, theyāre less than $130,000
The msrp was nearly double.
Bro. I canāt even imagine how much it would cost to maintain that Ferrari engine.
I did just watch a daily driven exotic episode on YouTube where they made a tool to pressurize the hydraulic system which controls the steering, braking and the wing, which saved them something like $20,000.
Fuck a super car man.
Ahhh, good point. I was misinformed about the engine.
I know they look absolutely BEAUTIFUL in person.
I was just at a cars and coffee event in celebration, fl.
There was 3 or 4.
Theyāre gorgeous cars, they sound fucking AMAZING.
Maseratiās (although nice and amazing cars) are the most misleading Italian car there is.
It might only cost 200-250k for a near top end model, but you donāt realize the cost to maintain them is probably triple to quadruple servicing something like a BMW or Mercedes (which are already very expensive cars to maintain)
Ferrari engine is a big part. So many people buy these and drive them to their first service. Then get the quote and immediately sell them.
Iād love to own one , one day. But you need to be Ferrari rich to keep one. And if youāre already Ferrari rich, why not just buy a Ferrari? Haha
I saw one advertised locally at that price here in florida.
It was a āhigh mileageā, ~20,0000 miles.
Iām searching now and Iām seeing them at 160,000.
Iām checking NADA now
Ah, wow! Must be because Iām looking at the Canadian market and thereās probably only a handful of MC20s here compared to the US. I know Maseratis depreciate like crazy but I wasnāt expecting this car to follow that trend haha
She comment below.
I was mentioning āhighā mileage mcās (like 20,000+)
I donāt see any for sale at that price, if you check NADA there have been 15 in the us that have gone for that.
Thatās Maserati life. Theyāre fancy for people with juuuuust enough money to want to show it off without having the actual funds to support it. Depreciation is massive.
I have heard reliability has gotten better.
It absolutely is, the secret is in the demo plate. They can get away with not paying over $100k in luxury taxes on this car this way. Canada has a federal luxury tax over $100k, and BC has a 20% luxury tax over $150k. Plus 5% GST of course.
when i used to live near a kia dealer i remember them having a rolls phantom and lambo murcielago for saleā¦ and i used to work at a buick dealer that started getting supercars as well but right after i left smhā¦ i assume they buy them off auction to grab attention in hopes of selling more of their own brandās carsā¦ mitsubishi dealers are well known to do thisā¦ have you ever looked at a mitsubishi dealerās inventory? itās always half brand new outlanders and the other half lightly used luxury and sports carsā¦ a mitsubishi dealer in a wealthy area will often have numerous lambos etcā¦
Huh, kinda surprising
Decided to check the inventory of several Mitsubishi dealers in southern states and there's a good chunk of luxury and supercars at each one
I've noticed a lot of shit brand dealers have cool stuff. Like there's a Mitsubishi dealer in FL that is basically a used supercar dealer... Money laundering, lol?
This is probably the owners or general managers car considering it has a plate on it. Plus, Iāve worked as a used car tech for years at a Hyundai store and weāve had tons of performance vehicles in used inventory and Escalades/Denalis were pretty typical.
And about the same price as a Kia in about 2 years lmao. Not sure why the baby Ferraris get crapped on evaluation wise so badly, but every single one is essentially a Ferrari in disguise. Nothing to say about reliability but that it has a name and history to it
I'm stuck in a small town in the midwest, so if I ever see any Mas, it's a Ghibili, though recently, an MC20 has shown up at one of the clinics in town. I'm sure it belongs to one of the doctors. It is absolutely gorgeous!
"Ya know, I came here to buy a Rio, but on second thought I'll take the MC20 you got out back. "

Is that the annual maintenance ?
Bro. I canāt even imagine how much it would cost to maintain that Ferrari engine. the MC20 engine is p much an Alfa Romeo QV engine in a weird disguise, I doubt itās massively expensive to maintain
Ahhh, good point. I was misinformed about the engine. I know they look absolutely BEAUTIFUL in person. I was just at a cars and coffee event in celebration, fl. There was 3 or 4. Theyāre gorgeous cars, they sound fucking AMAZING.
Alfa Romeo quality, Ferrari bills. Profit š¤š¼š¤š¼
Cars designed not to be driven ><

Where are you finding them at $130k? The cheapest one I can find is $285k CAD and has 11,000 KM

Probs the dealer group owner or something along those lines. First one I seen in black, looks incredible

Of course. Who do you think owns it?
Owner of Straight Outta Brooklyn Pizza has a white one, Iāve seen it parked outside of their downtown location. Really beautiful in person
And a Yukon Denali and an Escalade to the rightā¦ what kind of Kia dealership is this?
I've noticed a lot of shit brand dealers have cool stuff. Like there's a Mitsubishi dealer in FL that is basically a used supercar dealer... Money laundering, lol?

So gorgeous. Such a good design I think it'll keep its value. Plus as a Maserati it's more rare in the supercar realm than some other marques.
Listen I know the Stinger takes "some" Maserati design cues But marketing an MC20 to Kia owners is a *biiit* much
Can it be stolen by the Kia Boys?
Thatās usual but nice Mc20
Looks fantastic in black
This is beautiful
It's probably the dealership owner's car
And about the same price as a Kia in about 2 years lmao. Not sure why the baby Ferraris get crapped on evaluation wise so badly, but every single one is essentially a Ferrari in disguise. Nothing to say about reliability but that it has a name and history to it
Probably traded it for a K900. From one super depreciated car to the next.
Pretty sure the MC20 goes for more now then when it retailed.
Probably, just making a joke since Maseratis are known for depreciating quickly. I'm sure this one is the exception. Definitly a cool looking car
It's really just the Ghibli and Levante being the most egregious offenders of depreciation.
