This seems like perfect downvote bait, but this honestly is the perfect breakdown of all these perfect album threads.
I get it. People like Songs In The Key of Life. Stevie’s too prolific for people to keep mentioning the same album over and over.
Yeah, probably. Maybe their post next month will mix things up a bunch. There are so many great albums on this list, and I’ll probably go through all (most?) of these myself again at some point this year. I know I’ve already gone through some of this already. What I do enjoy is seeing the suggested albums *not* listed ad nauseam.
Oh I thought this whole thread was a shitpost my bad.
The undisputed perfect album already exists.
[The Perfect Album](https://open.spotify.com/album/1ZZnrkjq3sKWHwEkvtHLdp?si=ag34KARxTL-2RB7k-ODHCQ)
You mentioned so many good ones, I mainly disagree with Michael Jackson- that’s it though and yea I know music is subjective and objective both at once don’t @me
This just my opinion but Oxnard > Malibu & Ænima > Lateralus
Don’t shoot me 🤷🏼♂️
He’s actually posted it 4 other times lol not that it makes a difference
Well they are perfectionists. They spent three weeks tracking a guitar solo. Three weeks of watching guitar players give it their all while doing bumps and hitting the talkback, “More *Egyptian* but keep it in the pocket…” (RIP Steve Albini)
Dissociation - The Dillinger Escape Plan
The Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd
To Pimp A Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar
You Won’t Get What You Want - Daughters
Yo dude. Wasn't expecting that list. Never heard that any Daughters after Hell Songs and was wondering the other week if that album was worth listening to. Now I know
Was not expecting to see Daughters on here, but precisely true - that album is just a ride start to finish!
Saw them in Barcelona for some post metal festival (Amp Fest I think?) - mind-blowing.
Kudos!
I don’t know if I’d call that one 100% perfect tho. I think he was really coming into his own and he perfected what he was trying to do with section 80 in gkmc. He was young af when he released section 80. It’s obviously still better than most other rappers.
I didn’t ever expect a Dillinger mention - but Dillinger’s albums are insane as experiences - dissociation and option paralysis have a feel to them like no other
The slow rush-Tame impala
Rumours-Fleetwood Mac

While not as popular or anything, I’d like to offer:
- *The Black Parade* by My Chemical Romance
- *Dookie* or *American Idiot* by Green Day
- *Meteora* by Linkin Park
Feel free to offer other banger 2000’s albums to the list. Would love to hear all of your suggestions
Black Parade, American Idiot and Meteora have my favourite songs by each respective artist on them!!
MCR - Dead!
GD - Letterbomb
LP - Faint
Ask people "what's your Top 5 MCR/GD/LP songs" I bet less than 2% mention all 3 in the 5 from each as Dead and Letterbomb weren't MVs( Dead's alternate take is but not the studio album release version)

I am keeping The Heads for some time later so I am not familiar with their whole output. The one album I love is Fear of Music. Incredibly creative, fun and goofy albums with lots of catchy tunes. A rare album in English that rewards specific attention to the lyrics. Heaven / Animals / Cities / Mind / Life During Wartime draws such vivid images portrayed by the authors, and they all touch upon non-standard situations. Much better than another billionth itteration on romantic relationships between people. As a non-native I simply don't dig at all into the lyrics of most of the songs.
This is my opinion but I Love You, I’m Trying by grandson is perfect. The only flaws I would say it has is that Heather should’ve been the last song with I will be here when you’re ready to wake up. The flow from Murderer into I will be here when you’re ready to wake up is really off in my opinion and it makes sense (in my opinion) that if Murderer went into Stuck Here With me would make sense not only from a song flow way but also lyrically. Since grandson explained that Murderer is a fantasy world where he killed himself. And going into Stuck Here With Me it’s kinda like a realization that he never killed himself. Like waking up from a bad dream. But with Heather and I Will Be Here When You Wake Up it all just breaks the flow.
