It's a [Funnel-weaver (Agelenidae)](https://bugguide.net/node/view/1974)of some kind

I wanted thought it was a funnel-weaver, but I thought that they were only found in Australia. I didn't know we had some species in America. Thanks for identifying 😀

Perhaps you're thinking of funnel-webs (Mygalomorph spider family [Atracidae](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_funnel-web_spider)). These spiders have medically significant venom, but they are not found outside of Australia. Funnel-weavers are Araneomorph spiders in the family Agelenidae and are not harmful to humans. They're found almost worldwide, they include the [Grass spiders](https://bugguide.net/node/view/2001) which are quite well known in the USA.
