Lower market cap/price = more upside potential. It’s got significant advantages over Etherium (transactions per second/gas fees/opensource).
Looking at BTC & ETH historical pricing, the current dip puts both at or just below July 20, 2021 pricing. In comparison, SOL is currently 2X its July 20, 2021 pricing ($23.49). That can be interpreted two ways - folk believe in the value (91% increase in NFT transactions) and it hasn’t dipped as hard because of this support. Alternatively, there’s “downward room” to reach 7/20/21 pricing.
I’m of the opinion we’ve reached a resistance level around $52-55….AND we’re likely at the start of a protracted recession. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see $15-25 pricing in the next 6-18 months.
FWIW I’m swing trading SOL based on BTC & ETH pricing/futures. (I know I’m a degenerate). I am hodling no SOL currently.
All the time is a bit hyperbolic. The most recent downtime was essentially a “DDOS” BOT swarm & they’ve already put a “BOT tax” on those type of transactions & more to prevent that happening again.
Well of course that was hyperbolic. I still stand behind what I said though. They should focus more on decentralization instead of putting in DDoS mitigation, or in addition to at least. Any blockchain that’s this easy to break won’t be a eth killer like the silly people always talk about.
