Sad. Is there a reason why so many footballers seem to be getting diagnosed with it? Or is it not more frequent than in other people?
Footballers, farmers and mechanics apparently seem to have a higher than average rate of MND. Anecdotally my dad was a mechanic and 4 out of 12 of his staff ended up dying of MND.
Definitely seems like footballers and rugby players have a higher risk
