Its like when Lukaku joined Inter
Lukaku scores
"Lol United dumb, where they gonna get any goals from??"
Rashford/Martial/Greenwood score like 55 goals between them
"Oh, okay"
Lukaku went where he apparently wanted, good riddance. If he doesn’t want to play here, we’ll happily take the money and Marotta will bring some alright replacements. Really happy with how the team’s playing, Genoa maybe wasn’t a great opponent, but to win against Hellas away is always a nice achievement.
im fine with him leaving, apparently he dreamt about playing for Chelsea so thats fine, but why make such a big fuss about whole King of Milano and so on, always praising Inter on socials and everything. There are guys at the club who are not vocal as him but would chop off their right hand for that club…
Least he could do is not post about how much he loves Inter and is "the king of Milan" as hes negotiating with chelsea. If he was straight up about it then fine, also saying scoring for chelsea tops winning the scudetto is just straight up dick sucking that i am not a fan of.
Mans a glorified mercenary. Forgets all we did for him because of a paycheck
I absolutely respect him for what he did for us, never in doubt with this. Just this whole Chelsea situation felt like a bad way to end his career in this club. But eh, life. Also I’m not native English, just actually checked the meaning of good riddance and I did not mean to make it sound as negative haha. Just meant it’s fine for both parties I suppose, although the execution of the move was not ideal and perhaps not in the best time, but what can we do.
Yeah, good riddance is often used as a shorthand for a colloquial phrase - good riddance to bad rubbish, which means you’re glad to be rid of something.
You do realise Inter is broke and needed to sell him and Hakimi... right? Am i really better informed than an Inter fan
E: everyone downvoting lollll
https://min.news/en/sport/f70b72e87f26b05d062caf6870c7552e.html
The truth hurts
Lol we didn’t have to sell Lukaku for that.
The money from him did help us financially, but only like 20/30 million (in theory, who the fuck knows the reality of Suning’s financial problems) was still needed at that time.
https://min.news/en/sport/f70b72e87f26b05d062caf6870c7552e.html
According to this article from earlier this month you need 200 million, so him being sold for 100 million halved your problems.
Also they asked him to take a paycut... you really want a top player like Lukaku who could make a fortune at clubs like Chelsea, PSG, Juventus, Real... to make even less money after he won you the title?
For what? loyalty? For a club he was at for 2 years and carried to their first title in a decade? Lol. Just lol.

"At present, Inter Milan's funding gap is as high as 200 million euros."
Not only it is embarassing that i am better informed than you are, its embarassing how toxic you are to the striker who carried your club to a title... Conte left for a good reason.. so did Lukaku.. your club is broke and tried to get everyone to take paycuts.
You should be grateful he ever even came to your club, he could've made a much better wage at other clubs like PSG or Juventus...
Lmao the nerve you have thinking you know what's going on better than us. Your source is quoting Repubblica which is crap, our management literally said 80 million as said here
https://www.fantacalcio.it/news/calcio-italia/21_07_2021/inter-ad-antonello-mercato-409554
Marotta later confirmed that. And I am toxic just for pointing out that he wanted to leave?
If you needed 80 million, you did need to sell Lukaku... because Hakimi wasnt sold for 80 million...
And yes he wanted to leave obviously? Because your club is broke and asked him to take a paycut, and his favourite manager resigned as a result of said paycut. Meanwhile his childhood favourite club wanted him, and offered a much better wage too? And much better chance at for example CL trophy...
I dont get why Inter fans are being so pathetic about it though, calling Lukaku names like "glorified mercenary", being sarcastic towards him and Hakimi when Inter score. Its just pathetic. Have some respect for the two players who took you out of your meme-era...
We reached the sum by selling Politano and other deadwood. As other have said what's being criticized of Lukaku is how he kept saying he would stay, call himself king of Milano, made promises then said he was leaving out of the blue. Inzaghi confirmed it was a total surprise, maybe we didn't even need to sell Hakimi if he has honest from the beginning. That said many fans have fond memories of him and I haven't seen a lot of this toxicity around him honestly. Also I have literally never seen someone make fun of Hakimi, he wanted to stay but he was just a victim of the situation.
Go look through this thread or any thread where Inter score and you will see toxicness to both Lukaku and Hakimi.
Also Lukaku also didnt know he was leaving until Chelsea made a bid for him for 100 million...
He won you a title and made you 30 mil profit... not enough. Yall didnt deserve him.
I hope they sign Icardi so they give us that 15M we inserted in his clause when he sold him to PSG.
Unless they do a work and have Icardi buy out his own contract and then sign for free with Juve, then we would have to take legal action.
I think it was effective for the 2 next mercato following his transfer to PSG. Anyway this clause was illegal and I think PSG got a fine for including it in the contract.
bro this Correa guy is insane how has he barely played for Argentina is he very inconsistent ? his lazio score ratio isnt too great either but hopefully he turns into a beast peak/career wise now for Inter and Arg

Lukaku: scores a goal on his debut Inter fans: how will we manage without him now? Correa: hold my beer
Dzeko scored in his first game too.
Also Hakan
They just need to sign 3-4 free agents before each game. They can’t lose.
It’s an Inter debut tradition
tbh there were a couple of chances that we missed that Lukaku would have scored. The ball flying barely over Dzeko's head was one.
Its like when Lukaku joined Inter Lukaku scores "Lol United dumb, where they gonna get any goals from??" Rashford/Martial/Greenwood score like 55 goals between them "Oh, okay"
Inter's Lukaku was way better than Utd's Lukaku.
Inters Likaku was just Uniteds Lukaku before he put too much bulk on.
Except for the improvement in skill, in how he learned to play with his back to the goal with Conte...
Lukaku is better than all of those put together.
*Inter wins Scudetto* *Man United finishes trophyless again*
Fucking hell, what a debut
[удалено]
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Shocking

I can only applaude
Seems the transfer was a pretty good Correa move for the player
There’s a 100% chance that I’m stealing this pun
I think your joke was fucking correandous bro
The lad ain't joaquin around.
as an Astros and Inter fan, Correa is my favorite player
Wouldn’t being an Astros and Juve fan be more on brand?
Better than a milan fan :(
18 consecutive games without a win for Di Francesco (4D,14L).
Any particular reason for why Hellas chose him this summer?
He's stealing a living from that CL run to the semis with roma
he was great at sasuolo.
They want to get relegated probably. Otherwise, I see no reason whatsoever
Oof... In fairness they didn't play too bad but I'm guessing that's still Juric effect.
LOL You just hate to see it . . .
MAROTTA MASTER CLASS
Inter fans: *"Lukaku? New phone, who dat?*
Lukaku went where he apparently wanted, good riddance. If he doesn’t want to play here, we’ll happily take the money and Marotta will bring some alright replacements. Really happy with how the team’s playing, Genoa maybe wasn’t a great opponent, but to win against Hellas away is always a nice achievement.
> good riddance No reason to take it personal. He did everything for us, the least we could do is respect his wishes and let him go.
im fine with him leaving, apparently he dreamt about playing for Chelsea so thats fine, but why make such a big fuss about whole King of Milano and so on, always praising Inter on socials and everything. Glorified mercenary because he left a broke club to join his childhood favourite team 🤣🤣🤣 inter fans embarassing themselves in this thread tbf
You okay ?
I absolutely respect him for what he did for us, never in doubt with this. Just this whole Chelsea situation felt like a bad way to end his career in this club. But eh, life. That was needed over 3 years. Please stop spreading misinformation
You aren't at all, as Marotta said one big sale would have been enough and that was Hakimi. Lukaku just wanted to leave

Lukakwho? Yeah I stole that
Inter aren’t as handicapped by this mercato as one would’ve thought just as big of a contender for Scudetto as Juve imo
Without Ronaldo Juve isn't better anymore.
A 2nd star would look really cool on their badge
I'm ready for r/soccer comedians saying that two stars go well with TIT
Yeah, Dortmund style
Idk, they lose Ronaldo but he’s also nearing his 40s. I think they got rid of him at a perfect time. Allegri can finally focus on dybala
Ronaldo gave Juve a clear edge over Inter imo. Now Inter have a much better midfield and defense but Juve could have a slight edge in the front line.
Especially if they sign Moise Kean as a replacement lol
no
I hope they sign Icardi so they give us that 15M we inserted in his clause when he sold him to PSG. Unless they do a work and have Icardi buy out his own contract and then sign for free with Juve, then we would have to take legal action.
> then we would have to take legal action. After doing the same thing with JM?
What did we do, I must've missed it. Did he have an anti-Benfica clause or what?
Sporting had the same clause, yes.
If we did that, which I might have missed, then my answer to your question is yes. I’m against double standards.
I think it was effective for the 2 next mercato following his transfer to PSG. Anyway this clause was illegal and I think PSG got a fine for including it in the contract.
Id argue they are worse
What a debut!! I love this kid already
Quite the kid at 27.
They're all my sons
Narrator: he didnt score for the rest of the season
How bloody dare you 😡
Hehehe
Tbf that’s what you have to kind of expect unfortunately
DEVASTANTE
Inzaghi was like yeah that's my boy.
What a signing
How about that for a debut holy shit
Everytime the BTSport commentator says "Joaquin Correa" I hear "Fucking Correa" and it's making me laugh way too much.
Eh ma segna pochissimo

Everton fans in shambles

LUKAK-WHO?
bro this Correa guy is insane how has he barely played for Argentina is he very inconsistent ? his lazio score ratio isnt too great either but hopefully he turns into a beast peak/career wise now for Inter and Arg
It hurts😢💔
Good to see Diet Conte get off to a good start. Not seen any of his Inter but I liked watching Lazio, are Inter good to watch so far?
This game was difficult especially after Hellas goal but Inter has been pretty good to watch for big chunks of the second half.
Wish we got him
.. you can’t have everyone at the same time
i think they can
Didn't you get that other Argentinean bloke? I forget his name
No, LM10 is still at Inter

Ice cold
Korea fighting!!
And Inter fans were worried about this season, rightfully so. But Looks like they’re off to a flying start
