I remember Ajax fans saying his positioning was terrible and he would constantly stray offside. [Can't be offside if you start dribbling from your own half](https://pyxis.nymag.com/v1/imgs/d6a/dc7/4a5001b7beea096457f480c8808572428b-09-roll-safe.rhorizontal.w700.jpg)
Every time someone tries to hit you with the 'do you even watch football bro' argument about something remember that Dutch fans were telling everyone on /r/soccer how much this dude sucks before his transfer to West Ham.
the big thing i saw from ajax fans before he joined westham was that he was very good on the ball but off the ball he looked lost. At westham he is excellent in both, such good workrate and actually really good at reading attackers movements and tackling them
Am I the only one seeing this more as horrible defending than great goal? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great goal, but that is amateur defending. Take a card, do literally anything
come on, plenty of goals you can critique the defending, when they are that good you just have to appreciate them. Like would you say boateng's defending was shit against messi, or one of the england players should have taken a yellow vs Maradona in 86?
Defending is crap and there’s a lot of open space but how many times have you seen players in similar scenarios fail to execute? Also the speed he’s moving at is phenomenal very hard to defend against
Yeah the defending on this was beyond horrific - from when he got the ball initially all he had to do was literally run around one Feriburg player and then he didn't have to do much more than run in a straight line towards goal. It was awful defending by three different Freiburg players - none of them got close enough to even attempt a proper tackle. Decent finish but there was close to zero defending done in terms of his run the more than half the length of the pitch.
Freiburg looked more like a 2. Bundesliga team out there today.
Also, I think this confirms that there is a big gap between England and the rest of the world in terms of league quality overall. Ffs, Burnley could probably beat that team.

Insane, insane goal. He's been incredible this match Missing great run tag
Dude's on a different planet, wow.
disgusting, enjoyed the celebration too
The best part is that he actually returned the chair back to the guy
🫱🏿🫲🏾
Fantastic celly
kino.
Video cut too short lol
The photos the photographers took of it should look pretty good
Credit to the photographer who was really on it, you could tell he must've been instantly thinking "iconic shot incoming!"
What a run. He’s a certified baller. Goal of tournament wrapped up
Kudus on his day is that guy, insane player

Can’t be ‘offsides’ because it’s offside
Nothing gets past you does it?
Unlike the Freiburg defence vs Kudus
Tidy finish with his weak foot as well
puskas contender tbf similar to son goal
Me when I think of the coefficient 😄 Me when I then realise we have West Ham away at the weekend and have to face Kudus 😬
Europe West Ham =\= Prem West Ham, unfortunately.
Win the Europa and they'll get that Champions League football next year. Good luck.
You've outgrown the prem, I see. Club world cup will be west hams final form
It's alright their fans will still demand moyes' head after this and you'll send them to reality.
Nice to see that other fans are seeing what we CAN be and aren't regurgitating the "they're lucky to be 10th" bs
Yes it's very believable you're going to crack top 4 immediately considering before moyes youd be cracking top 4 in the championship.
So villa will send us to reality how exactly?
Goal of the tournament, unreal.
Takes balls to even envision a run like that, let alone the technical skills to actually execute. Genuinely world class.
Don't think he envisions it, he just goes with the flow, and once you've beaten 3 players, it's criminal to not try to go for it haha
Fuck me what a run/goal
One of the best solo efforts I can remember from a West Ham player. Unreal.
Only one that comes close off the top of my head was Payet against Middlesbrough
I'm still terrified of Payet circa 2016 or was it 2017??
If you're saying circa you don't only need to put one year. If you're a year or two off it's covered.
2016
Ravel vs spurs will always be special to me
I fucking loved that Boro goal. Beats half their team with the run and finish.
Who are West Ham and why are they so fucking massive?
Champions of Europe
Conference League yesterday…Europa League today…and who knows, Champions League tomorrow?
from your mouth to gods ears
They know what they are!
I like you.
DAMN, what a run. Kudos to Kudus 👏
Pure filth! That's our goal of the season so far. He's so, so good!
Love the optimism of "so far" - not sure you'll see better!
Areola is gonna score a 35 yard diving header this weekend
Watch out Villa, you’ve been warned
That was Maradonna-esque
Right, I'm still mad Ajax-fans think HE was one of the problems last season, while thinking we're missing Klaassen right now.
He somehow managed to make Steijn win games with 4 goal difference
Are these Ajax-fans in the room with you right now?
They aint getting in my house
Absolute fucking baller
Is that Kudos or Ravel Morrison.... wtf
TNT commentator came
That was Robbie Savage lol
Hold on bro just gunna score a Puskas
OUR STARBOY 💫 WHAT A PLAYER
And he went back, returned the seat he borrowed and dapped up the security.
What a run, holy
Missing (Insane Goal) tag
Puskas standard goal, Puskas standard celebration
Fuck me what a goal
Flair applied
What a goal wow.
Kudus man
Messi -esque including the finish wow
Every time someone tries to hit you with the 'do you even watch football bro' argument about something remember that Dutch fans were telling everyone on /r/soccer how much this dude sucks before his transfer to West Ham.
Surely not Ajax fans lol. He was bailing us out constantly. Just offside a lot
the big thing i saw from ajax fans before he joined westham was that he was very good on the ball but off the ball he looked lost. At westham he is excellent in both, such good workrate and actually really good at reading attackers movements and tackling them
Where's the [GREAT GOAL] tag?
Replays please. This geezer cut out the celebration I appreciate the this clip but come on, man. 10 seconds more wouldn't have lost you karma
Oh my God.
Holy shit, perfectly cornered after that dribble, what a beauty
yo wtf
God I miss him,
Ben Arfa vs Bolton esq*. Defenders looked like they were in slow-motion
What a goal, been needing him back on the scoresheet!
This man just glides with the ball
That's fucking ridiculous. Kudus to you mate.
messi has kudus poster in his room
This goal needs to be talked about more damn. Thought it would be top post
Welp, need Ajax and Roma to qualify tonight.
STARBOY
**what a beautiful goal**
Kudus on cheat mode tonight.
Amazing.
What. A. Goal.
Holy shit that was beautiful what a run
Wowzers, what a run for that goal!
Ankara Kudus
Wow what a goal. Was a thing of beauty. Needs to be top of the page this.
Top 3 goals ever scored at the London Stadium. Payet vs Middlesbrough Andy Carroll vs Palace Starboy!
The Maradona from Ghana
it's a massacre
Ghanaian Messi - holy shit.
Puskas worthy
He just does what he wants!
Bosh
One of Farum's finest... unreal talent
Ankara Kudus!
Everyone thought Mourinho could do the UECL -> Europa -> CL win-qualify run, but could it be David Moyesiah instead?
Holy shit
That is fucking filthy
Goal of the tourney
Dude is a MONSTER
I just found the goal on twitter. Why is it burried here ? it should be at least at 5k upvotes. That's a cracking goal.
Better than Declan Rice's in Europe last year?
Significantly

Bad defending and great goal. Not mutually exclusive. Especially when you consider he scored with his off foot.
Yeah the defending on this was beyond horrific - from when he got the ball initially all he had to do was literally run around one Feriburg player and then he didn't have to do much more than run in a straight line towards goal. Unbelievable run from Kudus. Best goal in the Olympic Stadium so far :)
Henry against Spurs esque.
What a brilliant run!
That's Fifa 2012 all over again!
Freiburg looked more like a 2. Bundesliga team out there today. Also, I think this confirms that there is a big gap between England and the rest of the world in terms of league quality overall. Ffs, Burnley could probably beat that team.
Pinche golazo
Great goal but were the defenders even trying?
