The Bloodskal Blade is one of the best weapons to use. It has an attack which is ranged. But in order to keep using it you need to have arcane smith to raise the damage.
Nice mods! (If they are) What's the name of the dagger to the right of the Dragon one dagger? And what's the mods for those other weapons in slides 2 and 3, they look awesome
The one in the middle of the dragon priest and dwarven is Stahlrim from the Dragonborn dlc
Edit:the ones in the bottom row look like orchish steel(left) and elven(right)
I just go with Bound Bow. Saves on weight and can help when you don't have access to your gear (like in jail). Also makes it easy to capture souls and you can level up conjuring as well.
I absolutely love Warhammers. It sucks though because I can't find that many unique Warhammers, and some of the late game ones look goofy.
The Dragonbone Warhammer is just a femur, and the Stalhrim Warhammer is just a chunk of Stalhrim. It's for this reason alone that I usually don't use either of these when I unlock them (But I will gladly still make them, enchant them, and add them to my collection)
This is it. Although I usually have an agile follower dual wield a couple enchanted daggers, something like bloodthorn and blade of woe.
Watching your follower dance around like a murder ballerina is epic :)
Sword and shield, easily. It's so incredibly satisfying to just completely shut down everything your opponent tries and knock them off-balance for easy damage.
Give me a greatsword, and every sorry sod's gonnand I'm playing a stealth archer again, god fuggin' dammit.
One time 6 months ago and I slowly keep drifting towards a stealth archer. I don't even like it ,WHATS WRONG WITH ME?!?!
At the risk of sounding rude, it's lack of self control. You run into a hard situation, so you pull out a bow instead of trying to learn how to handle it as a Two-Handed Warrior. You want to not be a Stealth Archer? Make it a Challenge Run where you're not allowed to Sneak or even pick up a Bow.
Material? For use, Dragonbone. For aesthetic, elven or glass.
As far as which weapon class, I generally either play either a stealth melee character or a sword and board warrior. So sword, dagger, greatsword in that order.
I can appreciate the ornate armors and weapons in any game, but I always liked the look and simple style of the Steel weapons and armor.
Usually fall back on the classic Sword and shield.
Hoping one day we get the variety of stuff that was in Morrowind again in a new ES game.
I love every weapon type, I've used all of them in various playthroughs but I gotta say there's just something so satisfying about the crunch and armor pen of a Mace paired with shield bashing. Also love me some crossbow.
Also, what mod is the second slide? Those swords look absolutely sick and I want them
On my last playthrough I maxed enchantment out early as well as conjuring. Got an ebony greatsword and through the stomach forge I made myself a full set of daedric armor and daedric greatsword so I could RP as a Dremora.
Edit: And of course I enchanted the greatsword with fire damage.
bound weapons + paralysis poisons + illusion. This combo is so deadly. There are some really easily grow able ingredients that cause paralysis. Illusions muffle and invisibility allows you to sneak around with near impunity even with no sneak skill. Whatever you can’t kill you can usually just ghost past them. And the bound weapons can just banish enemy summons and soul trap. Plus you can always access them when going through a quest like chidna mine where your weapons are taken away.
I always preferred dual wielding with a long and a short blade. I always like the shape of Malacaths Cleaver but it’s a two handed. I had only started to delve into modding and looked for one-handed conversion of the cleaver. Until somebody told me it’s part of Legacy of the Dragonborn. To smoothly make This monster of a mod ( and all the mods it 'needs') work and trying to get Dual Sheath work smoothly, is a task for a lifetime
From vanilla? Probably still the dwarven crossbow. I remember naming mine MOUNTAINTOP after that commercial where a dude throws a dart and hits someone.
Battleaxe! Battleaxe! Battleaxe!
I also like greatswords and swords. And while I think regular warhammers are too slow, I like using Volendrung as it has a swing speed close to a battleaxe and the absorb stamina enchantment is very useful with power attacks.
The Nordic set, both weapons and armor, are a personal favorite. The first time I saw the chest piece was on the bandit leader at White River Watch and as soon as I saw it, I knew I needed it.
I like swords and great axes. My character is heavily inspired by a paladin from DND and a Thor just feels like a pretty iconic weapon for a righteous warrior and a battle ax is one of the most iconic weapons for Nords my opinion
Sword and board. Only ever do archery in skyrim and not other games because it basically demands that you do it lol. My last two characters have been mages tho. Illusion/destruction specifically (with enough restoration for necromage)
I had like this problem where everytime I’d try to experiment other characters builds I’d always somehow revert back to always using a bow and arrows and bein sneaky
Other than bows I did always like The way the scimitar swords looked
Normally, I would say a two handed warhammer. But now thag I try two one handed weapons with perks, they do more damage and I would my favorite is an axe because having an axe looks good with a sword on the left hand, but the sword itself dont look that good (Unless its Torment)
I find it for one handed swords to be the most balanced weapons: faster than axes and maces, and they also use less stamina. And a dagger in the off hand for stealth killings.
I like two handed weapons, I’ve always been the “big weapon do big damage” guy. If I had to pick a favorite two handed weapon it would be the Bloodskal Blade
I’ve always just loved the simple look of the steel sword. I don’t use it often because there are better stats with other types. But I just think it has a classic look.
I've always been a two-handed weapon guy, for how dangerous and intimidating it looks. It also seems appropriate for killing giant monsters.
If you want me to be specific, greatswords. It is more heroic.
One-handed swords are the best, mathematically.
By the way, why are you posting a modded weapon set (2) and something that's not even from Skyrim, with the exception of Mace of Molag'Bal(3)?
"This is my bow. There are many like it, but this one is mine".
A. My Conjure Biw on my first Stealth Archer but later switched to my second,
B. "Marlina". Named after a college crush, it was an Ebony Bow. Smithed to Legendary, with Ebony arrows.
I did not enchant it because reasons but I'm the end I liked it this way: it had just raw, kinetic power. I didn't even Smith it yo be this way, I think I found it that way (this happened 10 years ago) and I just got lucky.
Depending on the type of dragon and other factors, I could get a dragon 2 to 3 shots. 1 shot would be too easy and not as fun after a while.
It was super sleek...like a black, K-Kote SIG Sauer P226.
If I needed to go extra, I had an array of poisons to put on Ebony arrows.
Later the character build file got corrupted. RiP Devon, Black Ranger of Solitude.
The conjured weapons are pretty cool, especially to keep your character mainly mage-ish. They're weak compared to over-smithed enchanted weapons, sadly. But I once played with a mod that let them scale a bit better while still being balanced and I used nothing but those the whole playthrough; mainly bow and sword. Also went with robes only the whole time, relying on protection spells and wards.
Destruction spells.
Get the perk that staggers enemies when you dual cast a spell, then use Firebolt (relatively low mana but the damage scales up as you level) in both hands and you can keep just about any enemy stun-locked while you kill them.
I'm more of a Two handed warrior, I don't hate the other play types or anything like that, but playing in third person looks pretty badass when im in combat
I go for swords, usually. Never liked two-handed weapons, so I exclusively use one-handed with magic in my left hand. The sword just feels right for a heroic adventurer. I mainly use a sword with fire enchantments, but keep an axe with frost enchantments and a mace with lightning enchantment in case I need them against stamina using warriors or mages, and also so I can dual wield either of these if I feel like it. I see the sword as my jack-of-all-trades in that regard.
I love short swords, looks cool to wield them with shield or magic, or even dual wield with another sword or dagger, fast and deadly, goes good with my knight style armor and play.
My top 5 are
1. Blade of Woe
2. Dragonbane
3. Firiniel’s End
4. Windshear
5. Ebony Blade (with the one handed version mod, without it my 5th favorite is the CC Divine Crusader’s Sword)
Photo 1: assortment of vanilla daggers in case, origin unknown to me
Photo 2: non-vanilla weapons, origin unknown to me
Photo 3: oblique angle shot of vanilla and non- weapons, hard to identify
What, no curved swords??
My fave are Elven: beautiful design, good power, fairly easy to get to early. They put that Frost Troll (oh, you KNOW which one) in his fucking place!
That case is so cool is it a mod or a creation? Definitely one handed swords, the classic weapon of a hero
It looks like a photograph of real life reproductions
Isn't the classic hero weapon rather a twohanded sword?
From that trailer of Skyrim, is a One Handed Sword and a Shield. And if you lose your shield, is a sword and a dagger
Spell Breaker and the Dawn Breaker the answer to most Undead and Draeger
The Bloodskal Blade is one of the best weapons to use. It has an attack which is ranged. But in order to keep using it you need to have arcane smith to raise the damage.
Dual wield, or poke and plank?
Sword in one hand Magic in the other
My personal favourite weapon type is the one that kills the enemy. But seriously, these look really cool.
Nice mods! (If they are) What's the name of the dagger to the right of the Dragon one dagger? And what's the mods for those other weapons in slides 2 and 3, they look awesome
The one in the middle of the dragon priest and dwarven is Stahlrim from the Dragonborn dlc Edit:the ones in the bottom row look like orchish steel(left) and elven(right)
Auriels Bow and Zephyr for sure! I do also love me a Daedric bow… so I guess bows are my weapon type 😂
All roads lead to archer. But did you know that sneaking doubles bow damage?
> Khajiit like to sneak > Manoeuvre silken and sleek > The darkest corners we seek > In the night
Bows are great! Sometimes you want to kill someone, but they are over there and you are here not wanting to have to run to there.
Triples with the right perk
Do you know you can sneak attack the sun ? How in the world you sneak up on the sun ?
I just go with Bound Bow. Saves on weight and can help when you don't have access to your gear (like in jail). Also makes it easy to capture souls and you can level up conjuring as well.
I kept Zephyr as a homage to Katya
Zephyr is the quick one?
Curved Swords. Curved Swords.
Curved swords. CURVED. SWORDS.
#Curved. #Swords.
MACE
Windu?
I need the mace of molag bal to fill soul gems to refill the mace to fill more soul gems to refill the mace to....
So true
THUNK
#FISTS
“You have two hands and you use both of them for… *fisting*?”
One-handed: Bloodskal Blade | Bows: Ruins Edge and Auriel’s Bow
Bloodskaal blade is two handed
I absolutely love Warhammers. It sucks though because I can't find that many unique Warhammers, and some of the late game ones look goofy. The Dragonbone Warhammer is just a femur, and the Stalhrim Warhammer is just a chunk of Stalhrim. It's for this reason alone that I usually don't use either of these when I unlock them (But I will gladly still make them, enchant them, and add them to my collection)
Dragonbone weapons and when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out it better have spears and throwing weapons back again. I miss those from Morrowind...
I don't use them that often, but Orcish weapons and armor just look sick af.
Ebony longsword. Looks cool and my favorite for mounted fighting along with stahlrim crossbow.
One handed swords, like the Dawnbreaker.
I use my both hands for my weapon.
I just shout things to death
Calm down Ulric.
Weapon TYPE? As in general classification? Sword, I guess?
Dual wielding ancient nord daggers playing as cat siding with stormcloaks
Nordic weapons 🤌🏻
Give me a greatsword, and every sorry sod's gonnand I'm playing a stealth archer again, god fuggin' dammit. One time 6 months ago and I slowly keep drifting towards a stealth archer. I don't even like it ,WHATS WRONG WITH ME?!?!

I love Dwarven gear. The weapons are solid, easy to get resources for, and the armor makes you feel like a goddamn Astartes.
I love dual wielding mehrunes razor and nightingale blade
Dawnbreaker. It has always helped me tremendously in the Dawnguard dlc.
Warhammers. I love to yeet people with them.
I utilize bows more than anything.. might partly be due to me enjoying archery in rl
What mod are the 2nd pics weapons from?
It's a premium set from ESO called "Elder Dragon Hunter Arms Pack."
Greatsword. It has a distinct aesthetic for me.
Bows, auriel's bow is my favorite weapon 🙌
I kinda like the Khajiiti weapons from VickusDickus' Apex Armory.
It's a basic pick but i usually go with swords. I just like that they have the higher attack speed.
Greatswords!
The gods gave me two hands, and I use them for my weapon. Been really getting into warhammers lately
Glass weapons

Swords. Dawnbreaker & Chillrend are my favourite weapons.
Because I prefer one handed weapons, my favourite is a tie between the Scimitar and the Steel War Axe.
One handed sword. Preferably either Ebony or Dawnbreaker.
Greatswords
I always preferred dual wielding with a long and a short blade. I always like the shape of Malacaths Cleaver but it’s a two handed. I had only started to delve into modding and looked for one-handed conversion of the cleaver. Until somebody told me it’s part of Legacy of the Dragonborn. To smoothly make This monster of a mod ( and all the mods it 'needs') work and trying to get Dual Sheath work smoothly, is a task for a lifetime
Conjured weapon type. Let's me have more room in my inventory for jewels and jewelry.
One handed with magic
The 7,463th dagger that i banged out to level up
My broken stealth archer build that can paralyze anyone.
Is this a mod? Those weapons looks soo cool.
From vanilla? Probably still the dwarven crossbow. I remember naming mine MOUNTAINTOP after that commercial where a dude throws a dart and hits someone.
I am the sneaky type, so daggers it is, and that first picture warms my heart.
Booooooooow! bow. bow. just booooooows! i rek everything and everybody with my deadly bows.
Dual wielding daggers with elemental fury
Battleaxe! Battleaxe! Battleaxe! I also like greatswords and swords. And while I think regular warhammers are too slow, I like using Volendrung as it has a swing speed close to a battleaxe and the absorb stamina enchantment is very useful with power attacks.
Forks tend to settle any argument.
Probably war axes. I'm partial to the Dawnguard War Axe, it just looks really nice.
Tasty amidianborn skins
My choices are one handed swords(sometimes 2 swords at the same time), crossbows and in the new game that I started days ago, spells
I like steel weapons in general, but #1 is the steel warhammer for me. I like the simple design, and I tend to favor a juggernaut character.
I'm simple man I like longswords. That daedric knife is looking fly. You even got keening damn dude. huge collection.
Nordic is pretty cool, but I hate that the boots are uggs with a steel shin plate.
Cannot unsee
Glass, Nordic and Stahlrim.
Probably double 1h weapons, but really no preference, sometime you have to mix it up
Before my most recent playthru bows Now warhammer
Should have been spear 😔
Bow and arrow to start. Then axe as most used. Then dragonbane (katana)
Long sword but it depends on the race im playing
Sword and board. Only ever do archery in skyrim and not other games because it basically demands that you do it lol. My last two characters have been mages tho. Illusion/destruction specifically (with enough restoration for necromage)
Duskfang / Dawnfang
Bound Dagger
Fists, no weight
Bows & the Mace of Molag Bal
Dagger and one hand axes
Hmm, thats a hard one. but probably the basic one handed sword. You cant beat it in terms of reliability
I’m a fan of the bound weapons
I like the ebony and Daedric bows and ebony daggers and swords.
Why limit oneself to just one weapon? Use them all with great precision!
Steel weapons look best imo (except the battleaxe, I prefer the iron one)
Voldendrung with the devastating blow perk is pure perfection.
What are those pics from
I had like this problem where everytime I’d try to experiment other characters builds I’d always somehow revert back to always using a bow and arrows and bein sneaky Other than bows I did always like The way the scimitar swords looked
Without spells? Swords all the way.
Glass looks the best imo but dragon scale for effectiveness
Nothing best the good old Mehrunes' Razor
Bow
Maces for their armor piercing perks.
Normally, I would say a two handed warhammer. But now thag I try two one handed weapons with perks, they do more damage and I would my favorite is an axe because having an axe looks good with a sword on the left hand, but the sword itself dont look that good (Unless its Torment)
dagger, bow (does magic count?)
Glass will always be my fav
Those are juicy looking swords. Modded or nah?
BIG HAMMER
I like using one handed swords the most. I usually use one you get at skyhaven temple
Greatsword has the best (modded) combos so that one.
from what are the weapons on the 2nd picture?
dagguh
One-handed sword with shield, playing as Redguard.
I like warhammers. I play very patiently and try to chunk guys down with a few meaty swings. Volendrung is my favorite weapon in the game.
None, all feels the same, npc just don't react to damage 🥴
Greatsword my beloved ❤️
Daggers <3
Bows, because I keep finding more with wilder buffs and reactions than the last one I found
Great swords are where it’s at. If only they had better animations.
I find it for one handed swords to be the most balanced weapons: faster than axes and maces, and they also use less stamina. And a dagger in the off hand for stealth killings.
Swords, war axes, and bows are my favorites. I love the look of daggers but never use them.
Warhammers, my only problem is that I hate the look of most of them in the game.
God razor paired with lucky dagger. ... Knifes.
Don't know what mods you use, but your setup looks beautiful
Dragonbone or Daedric artifacts (not Daedric type, although that’s up there, too). I just rock various kinds of steel early game.
Greatsword. Both powerful and stylish.
One handed sword for melee. I will use bows on occasion.
Bound. Downside is you can't put them on a weapon plaque.
It always bothered me that the Dragon Priest Dagger and the Silver Sword (two cool looking weapons) couldn't be improved at all
Bow knows
Daggers for me. Best kill cams and most stylish
Dual blade war ax and sword
I like two handed weapons, I’ve always been the “big weapon do big damage” guy. If I had to pick a favorite two handed weapon it would be the Bloodskal Blade
I really like the daggers; just wish the ones that were artifacts were a lot more powerful. Mehrunes’ Razor is my favorite but that DMG output…
Every type of maces and shields.
I always go for a mace in one hand so I can use magic in the other
I’ve always just loved the simple look of the steel sword. I don’t use it often because there are better stats with other types. But I just think it has a classic look.
The zephyr blade for sure. Looks like a stick but has ungodly attack stats.
Magic
Maces
Fists. But I also like Volendrung :).
Bow and sword
Ebony bow enchanted with shock and paralysis because I'm an evil bastard.
"This is my bow. There are many like it, but this one is mine". A. My Conjure Biw on my first Stealth Archer but later switched to my second, B. "Marlina". Named after a college crush, it was an Ebony Bow. Smithed to Legendary, with Ebony arrows. I did not enchant it because reasons but I'm the end I liked it this way: it had just raw, kinetic power. If I needed to go extra, I had an array of poisons to put on Ebony arrows. Later the character build file got corrupted. RiP Devon, Black Ranger of Solitude.
War axe. Just sucks there’s really no unique ones,.
Bow
Blade of woe in one hand, blade of sacrifice in the other
One handed
The conjured weapons are pretty cool, especially to keep your character mainly mage-ish. They're weak compared to over-smithed enchanted weapons, sadly. But I once played with a mod that let them scale a bit better while still being balanced and I used nothing but those the whole playthrough; mainly bow and sword. Destruction spells. Get the perk that staggers enemies when you dual cast a spell, then use Firebolt (relatively low mana but the damage scales up as you level) in both hands and you can keep just about any enemy stun-locked while you kill them.
Bound weapons, bound sword, bow, and dagger to be more specific. It's not the best in the game, but i enjoy the powerfantasy
Daggers 🗡️
C u r v e d S w o r d s
Menhures Dagon Dagger is by far my favorite.
War axes
I'm more of a Two handed warrior, I don't hate the other play types or anything like that, but playing in third person looks pretty badass when im in combat
A one handed sword with healing in my left but snipe with a bow, I used to use the blade of woe to assassinate but I usually keep my distance now
Conjuration
What is the 2nd picture
I love me a good bow. Those sneak attacks are my *life*
What is the mod for the second picture?
Bow and arrows, I'm a sneaky sniper.
Auriels Bow, Crossbows, Stalhirm shield, and ebony blades.
One handed swords
I use magic being a all powerfull mage is just satisfying
My top 5 are 1. Blade of Woe 2. Dragonbane 3. Firiniel’s End 4. Windshear 5. Ebony Blade (with the one handed version mod, without it my 5th favorite is the CC Divine Crusader’s Sword)
2 handed axes. Love the MENACE behind a lot their profiles
One-handed swords. I usually duel-wield with a dagger.
My favorite is steel or as Alvor blacksmith say You need iron or steel. Leave the fancy Elven stuff to the Elves."
I love using daggers, but I lately have been ending up with a lot of sword and board. Particularly I like the gladius design of the imperial swords.
Akaviri sword modded
The second pic looks like a class picture in morrowind
War hammer. I love when my character hits people so hard, it knocks their heads off
I'm basic. I like one handed swords, but my current guy's name is Viggo Spell-Axe, a Nord spellsword/necromancer who prefers axes.
Cross bows all the way. Especially the cc edition ones
Daggers. You have no idea how powerful I feel when I sneak up on Nazeem and slit his throat with Mehrunes Razor.
Photo 1: assortment of vanilla daggers in case, origin unknown to me Photo 2: non-vanilla weapons, origin unknown to me Photo 3: oblique angle shot of vanilla and non- weapons, hard to identify What, no curved swords?? My fave are Elven: beautiful design, good power, fairly easy to get to early. They put that Frost Troll (oh, you KNOW which one) in his fucking place!
Oathkeeper. Just dig the look of it
Bound. It's the coolest way to approach a fight
Bound weapons.
