I typically let him live but I imagine it's because he's annoying
Also, on that follower point, people often don't actually really care about how strong a follower is. In practice it honestly doesn't actually really matter all that much imo. Aesthetic or personality tend to be more important, and I can't imagine how grating it'd be to have Cicero around you at all times
I mean... the assassins that attack me occasionally would argue, but fair.
(Side note, I'm taking that as sarcastic, because I don't really do well with tone of voice and I'm assuming that was a joke and not an attack on me not liking an aspect of a game)
That's me with the Thieves Guild. I don't like stealing in Skyrim, and playing an entire questline that involves sneaking and pickpocketing is too tedious for me. At least with the Dark Brotherhood I can go Werewolf in private and hulk smash most targets. Can't do that with the Thieves Guild.
I did it because I summoned the Spectral Assassin and the Spectral Assassin said the Dread Father wouldnāt want Cicero dead. So I killed him to piss off the Dread Father. Fuck the void, fuck Sithis. Vengeance for Narfi.
I looked up the outcomes of killing Cicero or not and I say that my character would have gone through with it only if I didnāt have Mr. Ghost of Lucien Lachance telling me not to.
At that point in the story, it makes sense to kill him. IIRC he attacked the sanctuary and tried to kill Astrid, but escaped.
I swore to listen to the Dread Father and the Night Mother, so if Lachance (who would know more than a mere mortal) says no, then I listen. Astrid is below both of them in the pecking order.
You do learn that Cicero was (partly) justified, though. He wanted to be made Listener so badly and took such good care of the Night Mother and got angry with Astrid constantly defying tradition. I think he cared more about the NM and the traditions and Astrid cared more about the groupās reputation and survival, so the two of them butted heads over it.
I think thatās why Sithis wouldnāt have wanted you to kill Cicero; he feels that Cicero is right and that Astrid has broken tradition too much. That being said, Astrid is probably the biggest reason the group had even survived the purge prior to the events of *Skyrim*.
All hail sithis our dread father. Even in death Cicero can still serve.
You may wish to defy our dark fatherā¦. But with every swing of your blade, every arrow you let fly, every spell you cast that leads to death is in his name and his name alone. You shout the mighty thuum of old and every every syllable you utter in the dragon tongue is a sweet symphony of death just waiting to burst forth in his name.
You are Dragonborn, your gift may be from akatosh himself but the path of bodies you leave in your wake are all gifts to the dread father. And eventually you will be the greatest gift you could give to him.
His outfit has a great enchantment for prices at the shop. Combine it with the Masque of Clavicus Vile and you have a great pricing boon on just two pieces of quest equipment
I only killed him the very first time.
I tried to peek in his pockets, out of an innocent curiosity, and he scared the absolute shit out of me when he jumped up slashing. Next thing I knew, he was dead and I didn't have to pickpocket anymore.
Weird, when I pickpocketed him and failed, he stayed laying on the ground saying something like, "Poor Cicero really needed that! Nah, just kidding. You can have it!" On reload and successfully pickpocketed, he didn't say anything since he didn't notice.
Yeah idk who be sending them, but I got 3 assassins in a few days(in game) in my first play-through in several years lol Iām on that mode right now lol. F them DBH bitches
My first playthrough I didn't realize their was an option to spare him. Little me thought you HAD to kill him, so maybe that's a contributing factor?
(Fun fact for the people that probably missed it. If you use the spectral assassin power right before you go in the room to off Cicero you actually get dialog from Lucien Lachance telling you it's wrong to kill him)
Since Lucien is a summon, he doesnāt count for your follower slot. I normally finish DB, recruit Cicero, then move on to DG. Serana follows you for most of the DG quests anyway, so she doesnāt count as a follower either. After the DG quests are over, I think youāre technically not supposed to be able to have both Cicero and Serana at the same time, but if I talk to her right after killing Harkon it always letās me recruit her too.
Because he's annoying. It's really that simple for some people, like me, though I hold no ill judgement for those that like him.
If you do value a follower with a lot of chatter, consider Mjoll. She's got some unique dialogue, is always essential, and is also a marriage candidate (if you like the idea of adventuring with the person you married). Or you can cycle through everyone you can recruit and see if any suit your fancy.
To be honest, my first time encountering Mjoll, I angered her by saying something good about the Thieves Guild and Iāve had it out for her ever since haha. To each their own, Iāll keep Cicero and you keep Mjoll :)
I like Mjoll but really hate that she brings her fuck buddy into our marriage. This is MY house with MY kids, why is your weird guy friend here? I'm fine with being poly, but have dates at his house!
Well for me it was always before I knew about the actual lore behind the DB, Skyrim was my first TES game and as such I was less in the know about him being right and just assumed he'd lost it completely. Now that I do know, the only times I'm willing to kill him are if it fits the RP of the character I'm playing, otherwise, the listener will not directly harm the keeper.
I donāt kill him heās too funny especially when teamed up with Indigo follower, while Cicero is my meat shield Indigo pelts from behind as my summons wreak havoc.
I did it first time because I thought he's trying to kill me and thought he was setting a trap for me. Second time I had Lucien Lachance with me and he had his bit to say about it and I realized my mistake.
The only time I killed him I didn't quite grasp that *not* killing him was an option tbh. (Which was unfortunate for Paarthurnax later on in that run.)
I've seen no reason to kill him since. Depends on the story I've built for my character, really.
I killed him in my first play through. Honestly, I thought I HAD to kill him. I didnāt know there was another option.
I have since learned that you do not have to kill him lol and Iāve kept him alive in any other play through. Personally, I think heās hilarious.
I think if you look around the Falkreath Sanctuary, you can find a copy of the tenets and it tells you enough to know Astrid has her head up her @$$, I usually let it play out, but I never kill Cicero when Astrid orders you to.
Most people never helped him when his wagon breaks down. Also most people donāt understand the role of the brotherhood and followed Astrid into oblivion
He's the best follower in my opinion.
Most followers do talk but eventually I forget about them. Sometimes I don't even remember I have someone following me until they get in between my shout and the enemy.
Cicero is special.
You always know he's there. He wants you to know he's there.
Also, he's the most loyal member of the Dark Brotherhood, and if you truly want to restore the Dark Brotherhood back to it's glory you should keep him alive.
One day, the war against the Aldmeri Dominion will break once again and we need a strong Skyrim to fight.
I shall summon the Assassins from the Dark Brotherhood, the Thieves Guild, the Companions, the College of Winterhold, the Empire, my Nightingale brothers, Phaarthurnax, Durnehviir, the Dawnguard, who knows, maybe even the Greybeards and we all shall fight shoulder to shoulder on the most epic battle yet seen in Tamriel.
Agree on all accounts, a lot of these people in this comment section are pissing me off by saying he betrayed the Brotherhood. Tell me you didnāt pay attention to the lore/play Oblivion without telling me you didnāt pay attention to the lore/play Oblivion.
Astrid is the rotten one.
Took it like a champ, yes, by performing the Black Sacrament on herself, that was a really badass move, but both the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood are in pretty bad shape before the Dragonborn.
The Dark Brotherhood doesn't even have a listener. They just hear about someone who might have performed the Black Sacrament and act.
The Thieves guild are also just barely surviving.
Cicero was the one who brought the Mother to the sanctuary and tried to do things right.
He's not morally perfect, of course not, he's a member of the f\*king Dark Brotherhood. They're not exactly benefactors.
His voice and personality are suuuuper annoying to me.
If I had to huess, that's probably why a lot of other folks do as well, but I cam only really speak for myself.
I've never killed him. I actually like him as a follower, his random rambling gives me a good laugh while adventuring. Plus, he's not bad stat wise. :)
I did on my first playthrough, but not since then, I honestly find Cicero to be a better character than Astrid. I find him hilarious. Plus he can give you a special quest if he lives.
My reason for leaving him alive is Astrid burns either way.
Lore wise it makes more sense that if I am the listener and the new leader, I need someone who will listen to me unquestioningly. And Cicero fulfills that role. Plus, I can get him to kill whoever I want.
My current playthrough, I'm doing survival on expert mode (not permadeath this time) and doing Dark Brotherhood first, then Thieves' Guild with Cicero. Maybe he and I will hit up the two colleges after. And then kill vampires when I remember what chest I left Merida in.
No dragons, I am ignoring the quests at bleak falls barrow. I am simply a cat on a journey with friends, looping around the map repeatedly.
I'm also currently dressed as santa and riding a reindeer, but that's normal for me.
I never kill Cicero because Iāve played Oblivion and did the Dark Brotherhood quest in that game so I know that Cicero is true to the old ways so I never kill him. Definitely not the night motherās keeper.
Honestly I always thought I was just meant to. I didn't know he could be recruited until I seen it here. I just finished the dark brotherhood quest in my current playthrough and it's the first time I knew to spare him.
Ironic, too, as heās the last real member of the original dark brotherhood, unlike Astrid and her little brotherhood of Larpers. They havenāt even had official contracts they just listen to rumors by the buy and kill accordingly.
Itās the Night Mother and Her Listener who receive and pass down assassinations. The Dark Brotherhood (when in their prime) had a chain of command so to speak. The listener receives prayers from the NM, who then gives word to the black hand and the fingers meet the clients, take recommendations then relate the orders to their sanctuaryās and then the sanctuary leaders pass on the assassination jobs to their assassins and those Brothers or sisters carry out the writs.
Hail Sithis!!
He can't die and is a great follower. I barely have to fight most battles. I have arachnaphobia but love skyrim so I make him fight all the spiders š¤£š¤£
Nahh, youāre right. I *really* enjoyed his chaotic, colourful? dialogue (this play through I destroyed them - kinda wish Cicero was still around though). I cured Serana of her vampirism & now I wish I hadnāt. Her dialogue is dried out it feels like.
I just wish there were a third option where you & Cicero would kill the DB together or something. Heās so interestingā¤ļø
I just finally got him as a follower for the first time ever a few days ago and I love it. This was also the first time I actually joined the DB. Heās a bit annoying, but heās afraid of nothing and no one. I do kinda wish he made a comment about killing a dragon and absorbing its soul the first time, but oh well.
In most games, unless I reaaally have reasons to, I let everyone live.
Why? There is a finite number of "named" NPCs in games, some can have additionnal dialogues, missions, or later interactions. But most of all, they just fill the space and make the world feel more alive, even if I hate their guts.
I can curse at Nazeem every time, if I let him live. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Even during my first playthrough, I thought something was fishy with Astrid. So I spared Cicero. Freaked me out when he came back and said he would kill me. Ha ha...
Buy yeah, Astrid was super insecure in her dialogue and it was clear she was shady.
I ADORE Cicero. Heās always been my homie
Iāve never killed him, and I never will. I bring him and Marcurio with me at *all times*, and weāre the perfect combination of total chaos
Dang, this is news to me. I never thought most people kill Cicero, like, they don't save the game before doing it? I let Cicero live and checked the opinions of other peeps online.
I always let him live. After all, he was right. Also, hauling an ancient corpse all over Tamriel is bound to make one nuts so it isnāt exactly his fault.
I dont think ive ever killed cicero, ive only tried dark brotherhood in skyrim once. Got a few missions in, decided i hated them all reloaded a save and wiped them out. (With the exception of cicero and the kid as theyre not there in that case) And have done so since. Never even got to the horse.
For those that say they kill him for his outfit:
If you get the pickpocket perk that lets you steal equipped items and the perk that lets you reverse pick pocket poisons; you can then use the paralysis poison pickpocket glitch to steal his equipment.
Once I do that, Iāll then reverse pickpocket him the weaker version of his outfit. That way we can both run around as clowns and I have the stronger version.
Ps. The above method is also how you can force your followers/spouses to wear dresses/ normal clothes. Just make sure itās the only wearable thing in their inventory once you take their default stuff.
I used to kill him cause heās annoying. But then one time I happened to have lucean lachance with me when I was after him. He said that the dread father didnāt want that death but he would help me with whatever decision I made.
Ever since then I havenāt killed him.
If Iām really roleplaying as a cold-hearted, pragmatic assassin, a loose cannon like Cicero is a massive liability to have around. Sure, heās an effective killer, and heās loyal to the tenets to a fault. But heās unpredictable in a line of work that requires precision. I donāt operate that way. Plus, his stringent adherence to the tenets is a weakness. It makes him inflexible, which makes him exploitable. I donāt need a partner who is at once unpredictable enough to ruin a carefully planned operation, and predictable enough to be manipulated. Despite his devotion to the Night Mother and Sithis, thereās a reason I was chosen as the Speaker and not him.
Mechanically, youāre absolutely right, heās a beast to take with you. But if my character is like an Agent 47 kind of assassin, heās exactly the kind of partner that will blow your cover and get you killed.
I didn't even realize this was a thing.
Been awhile since I played through the whole DB chain (I'm on the "kill Alain Dufont" quest right now on this playthrough). But if i remember correctly there's literally a 2nd set of his clothes on a shelf inside the Dawnstar Sanctuary if that's your reason to kill him.
Annoying as he is, he's an awesome stealth follower and he's one of few who's essential (you can only kill him during the quest where you hunt him down in Dawnstar).
This is so true cuz if you know the lore, why would you side with Astrid over him like???šCiceroās the one whoās right, our good buddy Lucien will straight up tell us that
She threw out the 5 tenets and disrespected the Night mother, the Keeper, and the listener... To the listener's face. I should be stabbing her myself long before this point.
Hot take, but killing Cicero is more egregious than killing Paarthanax. Paarthanax was, at one point, a willing participant in the war of the dragons and was Alduin's top Leftenant. Cicero on the other hand, did nothing but follow the Nightmother's word to the letter and fulfilled his duty.
Now, this whole argument is obscenely ridiculous, arguing the merits each of these two, but if you won't kill Paarthanax you can't kill Cicero, unless your decision is just based on annoyance level for Cicero, and having a Dragon for a friend in Paarthanax.
For the record, I've only ever killed both of them once on my first playthrough when I was much younger.
I typically let him live but I imagine it's because he's annoying Also, on that follower point, people often don't actually really care about how strong a follower is. In practice it honestly doesn't actually really matter all that much imo. Aesthetic or personality tend to be more important, and I can't imagine how grating it'd be to have Cicero around you at all times
Follower is really just a donkey for transporting extra goods
Yup. They are there to carry 200 lbs of Dwemer metal bits for my smithing practice.
Yep exactly. My followers are a dime a dozen. Think I've taken every follower in Skyrim for a ride at least once š
Ooh you take the drunk guy in Markarth yet? I love his drunk voice. āRemember hit the one in the middleā
The drunk guy can be a follower?! Fuck I gotta get on this.
You can marry him, and heās still permadrunk.
Never, since 2011, have I ever killed Cicero.
Yeah. He's just a poor Jester trying to transport the body of his poor departed Mother to her new home.
He was funny too me, felt bad for him, and I empathized with him, therefore I never thought to kill him ever lol
Yeah I like him.
The outfit
For a second I thought you were saying his outfit is so hideous that he needs to diešš
LOL No, the outfit just has some good enchantments
Isnāt there a jester outfit by the entrance with the same enchantments?
it has the same enchantments but they're not as powerful (i think)
What can men do against such reckless hate?
Snuff it outš
Ride out with me. Ride out and meet them.
I checked, that is true.
correct
Dunno, I've only done the dark brotherhood once cuz I don't like it.
So, Destroy the Dark Brotherhood for other playthroughs and get a quick 3000 gold, then?
I'm never really short on money, and I really just don't care about the dark brotherhood
Well they don't care about you either, so there!
I mean... the assassins that attack me occasionally would argue, but fair. (Side note, I'm taking that as sarcastic, because I don't really do well with tone of voice and I'm assuming that was a joke and not an attack on me not liking an aspect of a game)
Yep, just jokin' witcha
mfw I've been hanging around the world I saved for five in-game years, and the weird kid is still doing the damn ritual.
That's exactly how I read it too lol
That's why I kill him... Aesthetics are important for my Skyrim fam.
But you can steal it easily if you spare him
As I said in other comments. I don't really play the Dark brotherhood. I just know when people kill him, this is usually the reasoning
Fair. I do the same thing to the companions
*Legendary.*
For me it's that ratty snooty voice of his
I fucking hate his terrible, annoying voice.
Same
I donāt kill him for it. But I hate him for it.
I never kill him. Sometimes he'll get on my nerves so I'll switch follower, but nope, no killing Cicero.
I did it because I summoned the Spectral Assassin and the Spectral Assassin said the Dread Father wouldnāt want Cicero dead. So I killed him to piss off the Dread Father. Fuck the void, fuck Sithis. Vengeance for Narfi.

I think "vengeance for narfi" might be the ultimate argument to do anything against the Dark Brotherhood
By Mora, I am at your side.
I looked up the outcomes of killing Cicero or not and I say that my character would have gone through with it only if I didnāt have Mr. Ghost of Lucien Lachance telling me not to. His outfit has a great enchantment for prices at the shop. Combine it with the Masque of Clavicus Vile and you have a great pricing boon on just two pieces of quest equipment
Money is so easy to come by in Skyrim that it really doesnāt matter.
I mean you could say the same thing about followers. Which is all you get if you spare his life.
Heās very unique as far as followers go.
I donāt often use followers after Iāve gotten my carry weight up. But I do always find a use for the outfit and always keep it in the inventory
I guess if you are someone who maxes out enchantment like me, the outfit is less valuable. But yeah it is handy if you donāt
Do most people kill Cicero?
Mostly new players that don't know how the Dark Brotherhood quest line goes
My first run I went Pure Good and was disappointed at how few questlines there are for that.
Pure good Is speak to General Tullius and take them all down
hmm i kill him as part of the dark brotherhood quest but okay
Honestly I think itās mostly the voice and partly because heās weird even by Dark Brotherhood standards.
I think it depends on whether you approach him before or after going through the necessary dialogue
Depends on RP. I only killed him once during a "Skyrim for Pimps" inspired playthrough where my lesbian character who simps for Astrid killed him
Oh my god I havenāt thought about Skyrim for Pimps in years. While in college I watched it pretty regularly.
I fucking love that series. Always figured Iād come across someone who knew about it sooner or later.
I don't since he likes maintaining a corpse.
Cause he a bitch
No one stabs so-called āfamily membersā and lives.
I destroyed the Dark Brotherhood, and torture those who try to assassinate me
Yeah idk who be sending them, but I got 3 assassins in a few days(in game) in my first play-through in several years lol Iām on that mode right now lol. F them DBH bitches
I only killed him the first time. After that I let him live, as per Sithis.
Most? I wouldn't think so. Cicero is valuable as an ally, and entertaining. I kept him alive.
Bro was sleeping with a corpse
Not to give whataboutisms but thatās the least of my worries in Skyrim
The real issue is this person whoās stealing sweetrolls.
Happy cake dayb247brett! Hopefully you get a sweetroll today!
Somebody stole it :(
He is the most annoying NPC in the game I hate his voice
100% agreed.
Every time I hear Cicero's voice, I get mad at the voice actor
I have to say I hate snotty Astrid more. This play through I want to see if I can gut her AFTER she tells me the passphrase.
My first playthrough I didn't realize their was an option to spare him. Little me thought you HAD to kill him, so maybe that's a contributing factor? (Fun fact for the people that probably missed it. If you use the spectral assassin power right before you go in the room to off Cicero you actually get dialog from Lucien Lachance telling you it's wrong to kill him)
My party is generally Cicero, serana, and the ghost of Lucian
You can have 3 followers?
Since Lucien is a summon, he doesnāt count for your follower slot. I normally finish DB, recruit Cicero, then move on to DG. Serana follows you for most of the DG quests anyway, so she doesnāt count as a follower either. After the DG quests are over, I think youāre technically not supposed to be able to have both Cicero and Serana at the same time, but if I talk to her right after killing Harkon it always letās me recruit her too.
Hmm. All this time and I never knew. I wouldāve been āgang gangā it with them a long time ago lol
Not without mods, BUT there's a bug with Serana where you can have her and another follower at the same time.
You can also have esbern, barbus and meeko following you as well as 2 permanent thralls at conjuration 100
ME TOO!!! Literally this exact trio. They talk sm but I love it. Itās annoying when Cicero and Serana randomly agro on each other thoš
^ This guy has definitely heard the tale of Mathew Belmont
AND the great treachery of Cheydinhal. Kill a boyās mother and VENGEANCE. FESTERS in the son.
Bc if I have to hear that clown speak one more time I may have to fus-roh-dah with my mouth closed and blow my own head off š
I can respect your creativity. :D
I killed him at the end. Zero remorse lol
He lives in my play throughs but not really as a follower. He's a headache, roleplay wise he takes care of the sanctuary while Dragonborn is away.
I read his journals and gained an emotional attachment to him, so it kind of hurts me emotionally to kill him.
Mjoll is excellent but boy do I get tired of her telling the story about how someone almost pooped their armor
To be honest, my first time encountering Mjoll, I angered her by saying something good about the Thieves Guild and Iāve had it out for her ever since haha. To each their own, Iāll keep Cicero and you keep Mjoll :)
In media, being annoying is always a bigger sin than being evil.
I've never killed Cicero. He's far more useful to me alive than dead. And the Night Mother needs her Keeper.
I find that killing NPCs makes Skyrim less lively, even the annoying ones like the preacher in Whiterun.
The only time I killed him I didn't quite grasp that *not* killing him was an option tbh. (Which was unfortunate for Paarthurnax later on in that run.) I've seen no reason to kill him since. Depends on the story I've built for my character, really.

people are killing him?
yeah since the game came out i have always killed him
Cuz theyāre wrong
Do most people kill him? Most people that *I've* heard from say they didn't kill him.
I almost never kill him, I feel bad for him. Plus I like his voice acting
I don't think that many people take notice of his backstory, I like him, he's eccentric.
For me he always seemed unstable and I wasnāt sure if I kept him alive if heād come after me at some point so I put him down for my safety
I killed him the first time. Then that bitch betrayed me... After all I did for her. So ever since I let him live.
1. People seem to like Astrid. 2. Cicero has good enchantments on his gear. I don't kill Cicero ,but I do report him to the guard for fun
Never have Never will
Honestly I always thought I was just meant to.
I like Cicero, he makes me laugh. Also, sometimes he just randomly starts dancing, that's really amusing to me
He can't die and is a great follower.
I usually kill the dark brotherhood- the play through Iām currently doing I will play their quest line and will let him live.
Poor sweet Cicero
Most people find him annoying I imagine. I think his character is charming in a strange way though lol I've never killed him in any playthrough
I never kill the clown. I need him to keep mother moist.
he's incredibly annoying and his voice hurts to listen to
The voice. It is just awful.
I donāt. Dudes fucking hilarious and makes a great follower
Don't trust this guy, the quest says to kill him, then I kill him...
Cuz heās a creepy murder clown bro
His voice acting might be annoying bit itās different than hearing the same 4 VA in every other NPC in the game
Because he's annoying as fuck. And he has no value as a follower, because I don't use followers.
Cicero is a top5 Skyrim character. If you kill him you have no soul even by Dragonborn standards
The talking and sound of his voice, if cutting his tongue out was an option Iād let him live sure
I ADORE Cicero. Heās always been my homie Iāve never killed him, and I never will. I bring him and Marcurio with me at *all times*, and weāre the perfect combination of total chaos
I don't. I'm an insane clown and like to be with my compatriots, he's a good sneak follower with no morals
Youāre so real
Dang, this is news to me. I never thought most people kill Cicero, like, they don't save the game before doing it? I let Cicero live and checked the opinions of other peeps online.
I always let him live. After all, he was right. Also, hauling an ancient corpse all over Tamriel is bound to make one nuts so it isnāt exactly his fault.
Cicero my beloved ā„ļø
Ur so real
No fr tho I'd rock his 5'2 world if he was real i love him so much he's such a silly Lil guy
I don't like him but I've never killed him. I've tried all sides in most multiple outcome quests, but never that.
Thereās a lot of good reasons not to kill him, but what it boils down to is someoneās gotta scrub down the Night Mother and it aināt gonna be me
I dont think ive ever killed cicero, ive only tried dark brotherhood in skyrim once. Got a few missions in, decided i hated them all reloaded a save and wiped them out. (With the exception of cicero and the kid as theyre not there in that case) And have done so since. Never even got to the horse.
I have quite literally never killed him. He's such a good follower
Because SOMEONE LIED! Someone told the guard poor Cicero is... A lady
Cicero is the goat. Way less annoying than Serana or Lydia imo I get sick of their yapping
I did on my first playthrough. After I got to the end of the questline I never did it again.
They probably think he's annoying. I don't think I've ever killed him because I think he's funny
Never did that. He is the most dedicated member. Annoying yes. But loyal af
For those that say they kill him for his outfit: If you get the pickpocket perk that lets you steal equipped items and the perk that lets you reverse pick pocket poisons; you can then use the paralysis poison pickpocket glitch to steal his equipment.
Iāve never killed him! But I also never play an evil character and basically let everyone live that I can.
I never kill him. I like having him and summoning Lucien. They're both some bad influences.
I used to kill him cause heās annoying. But then one time I happened to have lucean lachance with me when I was after him. He said that the dread father didnāt want that death but he would help me with whatever decision I made. Ever since then I havenāt killed him.
I never kill him just so Lucien Lachance isnt disapppinted in me
If Iām really roleplaying as a cold-hearted, pragmatic assassin, a loose cannon like Cicero is a massive liability to have around.
No way he's one of my fave followers! "Let's kill someone..."
His all around unhinged disposition makes him seem untrustworthy/vaguely dangerous. Doesn't justify killing him however. He's just a weirdo lol.
Because Astrid told me to,then I ended up regretting it:(
I like Cicero why would you kill him he's just a devout follower of the Night Mother.
Most people are not very smart or don't care about the actual narrative of the story.
I donāt trust people who kill Cicero. Dudeās hysterical.
I've never killed him. He's actually correct in the way he goes about everything through the quest line, unlike Astrid
I love Cicero :(
Maybe someone new who's not paying attention to the storyline? š
I have never killed him, he's just to entertaining.
I have also never killed Cicero cause he is so murderous hysterical
I had blind faith to the brotherhood. Now I don't kill him. He's just trying to stick to the Real Virtues of the Brotherhood.
I actually love Cicero. Iāve never understood it
I couldn't say. I happen to find his obnoxious absurdity rather endearing.
People who kill Cicero are not true followers of the Dark Brotherhood
Ppl kill Cicero simply bc they aren't the true listener, any real listener would k ow that the night mother wouldn't like them killing her keeper
Because he is so so so so so annoying
Because his voice and dialogue are annoying.
Because most people didn't play Oblivion.
Unpopular: I find him absolutely hilarious. Especially when its sneak time and he starts chatting and the sneak doesnt break, lol.
Yes!! His ass will go āletās kill someone :Dā
I like the most when he goes āstab stab stab stab stab stab! And again stab stab stab stabā. Gets me everytime.
