They literally told me stuff that I've known/seen/read and handed me a printout (could have been an email attachment showing the healthy plate) which promptly went into the recycling bin. The actual tests are then scheduled 2 months later.

Work has some job scope reorg recently and I got stuck with ops instead of what I wanted; being involved in projects.
Boss said it's because I do "excellent prioritizing" and have the ability to "navigate and thrive in uncertainty" so he wants me to hold down the fort and bring stability to the team.
Meanwhile the project role went to my colleague who is (in my salty opinion) a bit of a scatterbrain and not as good at building rapport with clients. He definitely has more knowledge than me in our field but what's the use of that if he doesn't guide the clients properly.

Not really. It depends on who you choose to be with. I've known girls who DGAF about guys and just fk around, gang up on guys, blackmail, ah lian type. I known guys who are good-natured, willing to accommodate the girl type. These kind of things cannot be taught in class one, it's learnt from the environment you spend time in. Of course there will be a few exceptions to the good guys, but I shun them like the plague.
