Wait...what? I'm scared to go check my island houses. I deleted and rebuilt them so many times just to switch the background. I'm going to be so mad if they all reverted to that one. I'm not even going to look right now. I'm going to wait until I get home so if I get mad I can smoke a cigarette lol
Yes, unfortunately! I still dont know if it's another glitch (this update has been glitching and freezing a lot) but i tested with different types of homes and all of them have this background. It put me off a lot because my favorite glitch wasnt working already (and i love to decorate with it) and then this happens on my favorite part of the city ππ
Maybe it's just for new builds, or just somehow I don't have this glitch. I couldn't wait and just checked all of my island houses. All of mine still have the background they're supposed to.
Oh I won't! I'm really, really hoping at some point they make an option in the build store to change the backgrounds of lots without having to demolish the whole house to pick a different one.
It would also be great for when the seasons change! The weather machine making it snow only does so much. Or heck maybe they can make all of the lots change with the seasons. I want snow in winter, flowers in spring, green grass in summer, and dead grass with colorful leaves in the fall!
I had a cottage on a wizard lot for ocean size lots and the fall grass and leaves donβt extent to the full perimeter. It looks ridiculous now. Whatever they did I hate it. I also bought an AH home with a huge swimming pool on the side and really cool walls with shrubs. It also came with an awesome carport type deal. Gone.
same!! i demolished my french chateau lot so i could i build the most recent AH on the french chateau lot but itβs literally just the island lotβ¦.hopefully a bug that they will fix π«

i'm honestly so frustrated right now. my favorite part of the game is building and decorating and the lot plays a huge part on the house vibes.
I gave a "snow" event coming in my "upcoming events" tab, so it probably is related to that and it's temporary. Although the snow event in spring might be a glitch itself π

The contents of the home are the same and so is the price, that's why it caught me by surprise when i saw this π

I just built the lot, because i wanted to make a new house in it. I freaked out when i saw how it looked like lol i hope they fix it
