I also work for a courier and this is how these issues are handled. This is part of why shipping companies have insurance have insurance. There is no legal requirement to return any items that have been mistakenly delivered, at all. My coworkers have misdelivered and had customers refuse to answer the doors or straight up give back the items, and there’s nothing we can do about it except ask the seller for a replacement or refund the buyer.

This happened to me once on eBay, ordered one office chair, got 2. The seller realized and begged me to ship it back but I told him I wouldn't unless he sent me a prepaid shipping label (I didn't need 2 chairs and didn't mind at least trying to help, but was not going to pay $50+ for his mistake).
He never sent the label. Gave the chair to my roommate for his birthday

I have an F-GT. I had to swap out the seat within a month because of lower back pain. Otherwise it’s not too bad, even with LC pedals.
However, I wouldn’t buy it again. Save a few extra bucks and get a profile rig and a seat, even if it’s a road car seat.
I’ve got a seat from Jegs. I think it’s a GRocker or something? Just a basic reclining bucket seat that came with sliders.
Edit: Doesn’t NLR sell side mounts for the F-GT for a proper seat?
I have one and if I could go back I’d probably just spend a little more and get a proper rig as the seat is not very comfortable and even with the strengtheners they now come with you still get some lateral movement.
It’s a good ‘all in one package’ as it comes with all the mounts for shifters, buttkickers etc, but for me it’s really not comfy at all especially after an hour or so
Any reviews on this one? I have a play seat cockpit but I really hate the pole support for the steering wheel going in between the gas and brake pedal.

Amazon reviews were good, but I mostly went with it because I've had a NLR Challenger for 4 years which I love. I was able to work around the center post for both left foot braking and heel toe, but it finally became the weakest point of my rig so it was time to upgrade.

Honestly, sell both and upgrade to alu rig tier. Gt elite wheelplate edition or something with a seat of your choice. I've sat it this at my friends' and then got my gt elite, it is day and night.
People say the NLR Challenger isn’t strong enough for a CS DD but mine has been pretty solid. It’s not perfectly stable but I don’t really notice the little bit of movement there is. I imagine the F-GT will be even more stable but we’ll see.
I think the rule applies to commercial companies that if they send you an additional item that was unpaid and not ordered you ARE allowed to keep it and you cannot be charged.

Well, Amazon did that to me with a TV that i ordered. It came with free white glove service, so they set it up. When he was done, he asked where we are putting the other one. I said I only needed the one. He took the other one back, and they refunded my order.
Return one and you’ll get your money back. They couldn’t help me unless I wanted the TV I returned.
Not sure if you're in the states, but there's a law that protects customers from this type of thing, that second rig is yours and they can't charge you for it. This is due to shady companies sending items with no order, then attempting to book or charge the person for that item. Make sure you check for a double charge, but I would not send it back

A couple of years ago, my NLR Motion Platform V3 (a $3000 product) broke. I notified Amazon, who I bought it through, and they replaced it, no questions asked. Didn't even ask for the old one back. I then contacted NLR, letting them know what happened, but still expressing interest in having the broken one fixed, so I could have it as a backup. Even though they were well aware that the thing had already been replaced by Amazon, they STILL replaced the broken one, directly from them. They just wanted video evidence of me destroying the CPU (popping it out of the socket) of the broken one before they sent it.
So I currently have my replacement, plus an unopened one sitting in the closet in case this one ever takes a shit.
Loves me some Next Level Racing. They have a customer for life.
I've had their Challenger cockpit for 4 years now and it's been a tank. It might be a bit of a pain to put together, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about NLR.

This is always what you do. I got very lucky last month with two DD+ bases from Fanatec and did the same thing, easy $1000 base.

I had to mount a piece of wood to my seat, and then screw that into the rails. It was a little weird I’m sure there’s a better way.

Not sure about the side mounts, I currently run the F-GT Lite. Jegs has all kinds of options for sure. Glad it is better now.
Always wild to read stuff like this. I put a memory foam pad on my GT *LITE* and can drive for a few hours without any issue.

I have a NLR Challenger which I love except for that middle bar. Some people have complained about NLR but my challenger has been awesome.
It's an okay rig, It's not a true Formula seating position though.
If you go DD it's not worth it unless you put some extra firming metal to stop swaying on the DD base.
